World of Watches Review
After 70 days, I am still waiting on a full refund. I returned a defective watch. They acknowledge receipt. They have made only a partial refund. To get a full refund, I must EMAIL my driver's license and full credit card information.
Tip for consumers:They work through two sites - worldofwatches.com and jomashop.com. Both share a physical address and the same customer service agent named Tara.

Date of experience: November 22, 2024Although it took longer than expected for delivery my item arrived in good order and is exactly as depicted on the website. I would love to include pic of watch and receipt but the tech thing is not going well.
Tip for consumers:take notes about the item that is important to you, as you can get somewhat lost in all the info (so many watches and only one wrist) so the kind of movement, etc. Keep track so you know what is included. this is not to imply that this website is any thing but honest, however there is no way to compare different items (watches, glasses, etc.) and so just be mindful of what is the most important part of your purchase. I will do business with this company again.

Date of experience: February 26, 2022I've been a fan of tritium watches for years. (Marathon in the Military) I prefer automatic watches too. (batteries are tough to find in the field) The Deep Blue combined both features in a watch that I don't have to baby. Mine has the flat vials for easier reading at night. Love it!

Date of experience: October 2, 2021Do not order from this company. Watch was broke upon arrival. I brought it to a jewler to have the battery replaced, which still didn't work. Sent it back in the original packaging, they claimed the back was scratched so they will repair it instead of replacing. Who knows of it is manufacturer parts going in, or proof of what was done. Calling for updates you're on hold for 30 minutes and get a mean customer service rep. 2 months after purchase, I still don't have my watch. Buyer beware. Saving a couple bucks is not worth it.

They responded to my email 10 days later... after my bank filled out a claim. They lost a case. (They were not able to prove authenticity?) Please do not waste your time and money here. Then when you order a men's watch they send you a ladies watch and that is where the fun begins, for them. They send you a return label and charge you for the return shipping. But wait, THEY made the mistake, uet I'm charged for it. Even better is they won't do an exchange. So you get refunded and have to purchase the watch you originally ordered again. But now it's not on sale anymore. And the circle of "fun" continues. Just avoid.
Date of experience: February 1, 2023I have purchased from jomashop many times no problems at all. Some items take a little longer than I would like but they sometimes have to sourced. When World of Watches popped on my search for a PADI turtle it was cheaper and no tax so I jumped be fore I read the reviews. I was a little concerned when I read serveral reviews with poor ratings. The commutation was a bit slow the shipping took a day or to long. But to my surprise the watch came today in perfect condition in the original PADI box and papers. The bezel and chapter ring were aligned and she's biting at about 1+ a day all I can say jomashop did it again. It was shipped from Jomashop so don't know whom owns what but I'm very happy! Great watch!

Date of experience: September 25, 2023Great attention with this company, I placed an order for 2 watches worth 115 euros on November 4, I was asked to cancel the order, and I placed the order again on November 10. Since then I have been waiting, they have not sent me the tracking number of the parcel and when I asked for the cancellation they told me that they have already sent it but again there is no tracking number. I was charged 3 times each time a different amount and each time with a different date. I do not know how they do it, I started printing the account statement to get a receipt, I challenged the transactions, but I did not get my money back. I have been suffering for a month now and I was left without my watch

Date of experience: March 29, 2021Since I've purchased Multi-Function Two-Tone Stainless Steel Grey Dial SS I can't stop admiring workmanship and beauty of this piece. From a practical point of view it's a lot better than many expensive watches that I know. It's smart because once you set it up you never have to touch again. It's automatically knows year(lip or regular) and changes dates accordingly. Easy to see day of the week, date and many other options. Received tons of compliments from many people. Very satisfied.
Date of experience: January 6, 2019Received a watch with dead battery. I Replaced the battery for $20. They requested a receipt and then paid my back $10. They don't pick up their phone. Do not answer emails. You can tell these people care little about customers. They care about top line sales and provide no customer service consumers have grown used to in a 2019 online world. If you like amazon and target and any other ethical company do not buy from world of watches.

I can't chat with anyone to get it sorted either and nobody has replied my multiple emails. 2weeks later, and order status still says "processing". Got a friend in the USA to call em, and she was on hold for hours with no resolution. $#*!ty place to shop if you ask me
Date of experience: July 30, 2020Beware, world of watches has gone out of business since early January. They are still billing for returned merchandise that has been returned and their office is closed. Contact your financial institution to stop billing if you are in dispute with them.
Date of experience: February 6, 2017I ordered a Michael Kors backpack purse at a 40% discount from World of Watches and my whole experience was great. They shipped the purse out the next business day and I received it the day after that. It arrived in pristine condition. The purse was very well wrapped. Including the hardware and straps on the actual purse. They also sent emails every step of the way letting me know where the purse was in transit and also one saying it was delivered. I was a little nervous about my order having read the reviews about World of Watches AFTER placing my order but everything went great. I would certainly not hesitate to order from them again. I got a terrific deal on a beautiful purse. Thank you World of Watches!
Date of experience: January 2, 2019I bought a seiko 5 (kinetic) watch online from WOW and had the bracelet links removed so I could wear it. Immediately apparent that watch was losing time and stopped nearly every night even though I was wearing it 24/7. I emailed wow about the problem asking what to do - they said to shake it! I said I'd wear it for a further week and log problems. When I emailed the log they said that because I had removed links they could not offer a refund or exchange! I offered to replace the links but they still said no. When I rang and explained that with a kinetic watch it had to be worn to detect faults the woman there was unhelpful and hung up on me!
Looking at their website it claims 30 day returns will be fully refunded but this is a lie and WOW did not behave as reputable, legitimate retailer but were deceiving and fraudulent with me. DO NOT BUY from this company! I sought and obtained redress through my credit card company but this was my first bad experience buying online!
Date of experience: July 25, 2018Well built sturdy diver watch. I find that the crown needs oil, very ruff screwing the crown in and out. Looses about 6 to 8 seconds a day. Can live with that. Seiko and orient looses 1 second a day. Strong well made band. Great look. Great watch for the price.

I can always count on my watches to arrive in 2 days and in superb condition. The rewards program is amazing as well. I would definitely recommend them for purchasing watches!
Date of experience: July 1, 2015I received my order in a very timely manner of less than a week. My watch arrived very well packaged and with the watch in its original manufacture packaging. I highly recommend this company. They have excellent services and great products for a very reasonable price.

I received numerous updates on the status of my package from transit to delivery. I can't speak for the watches but the purses are legit.
Date of experience: February 15, 2019Purchased many timepieces from wow. Totally happy with my experiences each time. If I returned an item it was never an issue. Watches were always authentic and high quality. I sent a lucien piccard automatic for repair in January 2017. It was repaired and shipped back to me with no issues whatsoever even though I could not get in touch with any one by phone or email. I found out after the fact that they went under with no notice to customers or employees. Sad day for watch lovers because where else can you buy a high end or even mid level watch for an unheard of price? Bring back Jim Skelton and come back under a different name. I'll be on the lookout!

The product, a Citizen Promaster Ti Diver is proving to be a bit of a problem, it is losing approx. 5 seconds every 24 hours. I'll track it over several weeks & see if it adjusts. If not I will have to seek warranty service & we'll see how that works.
Date of experience: September 4, 2020First of all I had a great experience with World of Watches. I bought a Seiko 5KX for the incredible price of $160 out the door. The watch came in all of the original packaging including new tags and even cellophane on the bracelet and on the back of the see through caseback. Also shipping was crazy fast. I got my watch within 3 days!
After looking over other reviews on this site, it looks like the majority are sadly fake reviews, but rest assured my review is legitimate! Maybe I got lucky, or hopefully world of watches has just improved on their customer service since some of these reviews have been posted.

I never experienced a single issue with either one of my three purchases. I'm very sad to see them now currently out of business. I don't know where I'll go for now my watch addiction.
