The absolute worst customer service I have ever received in my entire 35 years of existence. Sofia, the cashier in the print section in the Garner NC location was incredibly rude. I thought maybe she was just having a bad day. Nope, she was even worse today. Have already filed a complaint and won't just let this one go. She instigated an already tense situation. 10/10 she needs to be punched in the face. Sofia, if you see this, please find me, you have all of my information in your system. Call me. Show up. Locate me on Facebook. Whatever your preference. Would love to teach you how to keep your mouth shut.

Date of experience: December 28, 2022Just left the OfficeMax in Columbia, TN. Pretty sure there was only one employee working the entire store. Was going to buy a new $400 printer. Waited at the cash register for 15 minutes. NOBODY ever came. The one employee I saw was doing the best she could over in the copy center helping like 3 different people. Me another customer we're waiting at the cash register... no one ever came. Seriously, you've got a 30,000 sq ft store and one person working the whole damn thing. I'll order my printer off Amazon I guess. The Regional VP of operations should be fired. Terrible

Our store is always low on items and you can't find things you need. That's why I've started ordering online from other companies. Sorry, but you need some people in there that know how to keep stock up and have manners.

Date of experience: June 8, 2021Robert Bass exhibits zero customer service, making empty promises and not responding or following up at any time. Guess the purchase of $4000+ worth of office furniture means ZERO to them! I am very disappointed! He absolutely ghosted me after I purchased SEVEN office chairs, after he said he would make every effort to get a discount approved!

Date of experience: April 21, 2021I came in to pick up some laminating I had done. Upon entering the store it was a ghost town. There was no employee in the copy print center. There were no employees at the cashiers area. I finally noticed someone in uniform at the tech solutions area. I asked if someone could help me. She told me I would have to wait. Everyone was on break. Really?!? Everyone goes on break at the same time? She did not ask what I needed or how she could help. She just told me to wait. Not impressed! If I wouldn't have had an order to pick up I would have walked out.

Date of experience: May 16, 2022We ordered & paid for a Shredder from OfficeMax on on 03/17/22. On 03/28/22 OfficeMax delivered an "Air Purifier." I began calling OfficeMax immediately upon deliver of the wrong item, and 20 phone calls and 15 days later, OfficeMax still has not processed our refund - our order was over $1,400! Every time we call, we are transferred overseas and given a different answer. I have NEVER dealt with such a terrible company in my life! Buyer Beware - DO NOT BUY FROM OFFICEMAX!

GO TO USE IT AND NOT GOOD ON A LAPTOP. PRICE MATCH TO THEIR OWN STORE MADE ME RETURN THE ITEM AND REBUY ONE!. LAST BROKEN ONE WAS NOT ON SALE SO THEY WOULD NOT SWAP IT OUT. They have a great selection in the local store and if they don't have the item in stock they will help order the item from the online store and provide great customer service until you are satisfied. I recommend that everyone should give Office Max a try.
