When filing for insurance coverage reimbursement from Aetna, I was required to provide Zenni's National Provider Identifier Number (NPI). Now I have been told it will be 3-7 days to get from Chicago to my house which is 5 miles away, I could probably walk that distance 10 times in 3-7 days. I have ordered stuff from China that came faster. Never ever ever will I order from Zenni again. One of them have transition lenses the other doesn't. I purchase one pair in 2023 that pair last about 6 months and then one of the arms broke. I spoke to a rep before ordering new frames to transfer my lenses into and they confirmed that it will work. To summarize the lenses did not fit into the new frames of the same shape. I love ZENNI fashionable frames but will be sticking with LensCrafters from now on. If my frame break they'll replace or fix them. I was unable to get my lenses into the new frame. I paid last year for expedited (5-10 days) shipping and it took 16 days to receive my glasses. This year, I didn't pay because there really was no expedition of the order. I ordered Feb 11. On the 14th I received a notice they had been manufactured and were enroute to the distribution center. It has taken 8 days to arrive at the distribution center. I received a notice today 2/22 that a tracking number had been created but they haven't actually shipped yet. I suspect by the time they do, it will be approximately about the same time. If you need something right away, they are not great. I would recommend buying your staple at Costco or somewhere you can get them right away and just using Zenni as a fun back up since they are not reliable and the customer service when you inquire is flippant at best. Do not pay for expedited shipping. You won't receive them any faster for the $20 charge. Tip for consumers:Better navigation to the styles without having to read the blogs to find the options. E. they screwed up, I opted to give them another chance to re-manufacture them. Their return policy is poor in such a case, either 100% store credit, or a 50% refund. Understandable if I did not like them, but the prescription was way off. The end result, since it already took a month to get them to begin with, is that I've gone over an entire summer without having sunglasses, due to waiting for the first pair, dealing with customer service, waiting for them to do their quality control checks, and now still waiting for the new pair to come. I would not recommend Zenni for prescription glasses. Fit and finish of the glasses were fine, they would've been great sunglasses if I did not need a prescription.
