I've ordered a few times from Baublebar and generally been happy with the merchandise. I chose to order two personalized ornaments for Christmas gifts this year and ordered on November 15. They did not ship until December 18 and won't arrive in time for me to re-send them to the recipients. I could not believe that an item I ordered November 15 would not arrive in time for Christmas. I tried contacting them numerous times and when I did get a response, their reply was that they were busy with lots of orders and I just needed to wait. The item page said it would ship in 2 weeks, so I thought for sure I had enough time. Instead, I had to scramble to get something different at the last minute for the two people I had bought the gifts for. I am extremely disappointed and won't order anything I need by a particular date - just for myself if I like it and don't need it for any special occasion. They also stopped responding to me after I suggested they do a limited restock or a pre-order. Why should I support a business that ignores their customers? I am willing to bet money they are going to raise the price tenfold on these same pieces next year given the demand but do nothing about the limited supply. Yes, some items are pretty expensive, but they often have sales/codes for 15% or 20% that make something you've been keeping your eye on more reasonable. Also, twice a week, they mark down an item to either $10 or $20, which can sometimes be a great steal. None of my items have ever broken or shown any sign of wear since purchase. My first purchase was pretty large and Baublebar actually sent me a free necklace with my order. I thought it would fall apart or be of poorer quality since it was free, but I wear it nearly every day and have been for almost a year without any sign of wear. Otherwise, I've gotten other gifts with purchases from earrings to nailpolish. It makes opening their packages even more fun.
