Absolutely terrible! Not all women all tall, big, and curvy. This is the only place I, a 5'10 skinny girl could find jeans! So displeased with new Alloy. Open up ur dam mind to other body shapes around!

Of 2 different size dress pants and all 11 of them started running like a
Stocking at the butt of the seam. Literally each pair got a one time
Wear out of them. I literally blamed my thick butt on the first
Shipment, but after sizing up to a pair that were very loose on me, the
Pants still had the same issue. Dont expect to see your money back once
You purchase from these frauds.

But now their merchandise is terrible, the sizes are off, and the quality is bad. Expensive for no reason. And do not even try to return anything! I sent items back two months ago and still have not received my refund. I received an email two weeks ago that my debit card was refunded and it can take 3-5 days to process and still nothing! Just a bunch of scammers

Fast forward 2 weeks and I get an email stating they are refusing to refund me because the clothing has perfume and dog hair.
Lies! I don't have a dog or wear perfume.
I will be escalating the manner and getting my money back.
Company is a scam! They just want to keep your money. I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing anything.

Date of experience: October 29, 2020Absolutely horrible. Site is not what it used to be. Clothes are made of cheap thin material. When you place a order it takes up to 10 BUSINESS days to send off?!? Needless to stay I returned and I had to pay $6.99 to return the crap. One item was stained and had deodorant marks. Then there return policy stated another 10-14 BUSINESS days to process the return to issue the refund. The extra time is for inspection, mind my stuff came stained and I could tell it was a return. Absolutely a shame. You're charging $59.99 and $69.99 for pants that are the quality of SHEIN. If you're going to drop that amount for pants, go to express.

Seems like I haven't seen a new item since the beginning of summer (of maybe one pair of jeans)! This is awful! I hope someone takes this up and revamps this place to be what it used to be!
I have also had the issue of buying items in the same size but they ALL fit differently!
Date of experience: October 20, 2020It takes this company 10 to 14 business days for a return to be processed and refunded. Unacceptable. No return actually takes that long to execute, they just want to hang on to your money as long as possible. My return has been there over a week already. I called to ask them to expedite my return and refund and they refused. But they did confirm it is there. So now I will just simply dispute the charge on my credit card. The clothes have gone downhill in quality, and half the time the pants aren't even long enough. Sizing is all over the board. Sad this company has nosedived. Last time I made a return here they didn't even calculate the refund amount correctly. They also advertise free shipping but then tack on a $1.99 handling fee, as well as a.99 fuel surcharge. What a joke. Won't be ordering from Alloy anymore.

Date of experience: October 14, 2022Being a customer for over 10 years, the recent experience that I had was horrible. It took over 3 weeks to receive my order. There was only one item of the 3 ordered. I was never notified of anything being out of stock. I called customer service and the rep said they would send the other two items. A couple of hours later, I saw a refund in my account. I called customer service AGAIN and was notified that the other two items were out of stock. I will not be ordering from Alloy Apparel again. Not to mention the prices being ridiculous these days.
Date of experience: September 6, 2023Don't ever pay for overnight delivery, you will not receive it until 4 days later. Their clothing line has gone down hill over years anyway. I bought my items yesterday 01/14/22. My items were shipped today. I emailed customer service because I was curious why I wouldn't receive my items until Monday when I paid for overnight delivery? This is the hilarious part, I was told I wouldn't receive them until Monday because the warehouse isn't open on Saturday. Mind you, I already received an email stating my items have shipped. They are not at the warehouse. They need intelligent people replying to their emails and I don't like being lied to. Just for the lies, I will never buy from this company ever again and they refuse to refund me for what I paid for overnight delivery.

When I asked for a refund they said they shipped & gave me a tracking. Tracking # didn't work for 5 days. They blamed the post office stating the post office hasn't updated their system. Lies & nonsense. I really wish I looked for the reviews here first.

Date of experience: September 7, 2023I have loved Alloy for years. I'm tall but skinny and I usually cant find jeans to fit right, so I love that Alloy offers extended lengths. I can find long jeans in a variety of styles and colors and the quality has always been good to me. In over five years, I have yet to return an item... I think the thing with shopping online is knowing your "correct" sizes and paying attention to the size charts available on the websites. As a frequent online shopper, I always keep this in mind. Cant wait for the next catalog to arrive.

I ended up returning everything, I didn't receive all of my money back and had to keep calling and sending emails to the customer service. The last 5 (AT LEAST) fell apart 1st day wearing or first wash. I wore a dress and 1 hr later the chain busted off. Shirt same issue, chain busted. Pants

No response. The clothes were days old! The material is just crappy. And its sad because being a tall woman you don't have many options so they figure they can get away with it. Just so sad because I used to swear by this company and tell everyone about it. Now I have a different story to tell.
Shout out to American tall tho. They know how to treat us tall people and have good customer service unlike alloy! So disappointed in alloy. Here is a few things I have not tosses in the garbage yet

However, no matter what item I ordered the quality and fit was always off. Recently I order two seperate items and the fabric had the worst odor ever. I had to return each one. However, after speaking with their customer service, I was promised (after asking) that my refund would include the shipping and taxes I paid, Not my fault that their product was defective and I had to return. Customer service told me that I would be reimbursed for all of the amount I paid including shipping and taxes. Guess what. Each time they took the shipping and taxes from my refund. They have the worst customer service group ever. They're unprofessional and doesn't appear to know what they are doing. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. The quality of their clothing has gone to the trash.

None of the clothing looks like it does in the picture... one dress was a totally different color, (wasn't computer error) the fabric was extremely loose and saggy in the bust area when it was supposed to be tight, and the fabric is extremely cheap.

I loved how often they had new styles in and how the extended sizes were always in stock! It is HARD finding cute stylish clothes when you are TALL and CURVY, but not with alloy. However...
Now that they are under new ownership, they have completely drove this fantastic company into. The. Ground. It is so sad and disappointing as they were my go to shop for everything! Their customer service is TERRIBLE, and they do not seem to care that their long time customers are completely disappointed!
Its sad, I wish we could get the old alloy back! I am unsubscribing from their emails as the sales are a joke, since they are usually just trying to get rid of OLD stock and NEVER update with new styles. I won't be ordering from them anymore.

I'm 6 feet tall. I have both long legs and long torsal. However, the Jumpsuit was not long enough to fit my torsal area and was about 4-5 inches too long for my legs! Seriously? Alloy is a Tall girl store!
Furthermore, Alloy does not disclose THAT THERE IS A CHARGE FOR RETURNS PRIOR TO PURCHASE, this information is found when making a return on the website and on the packing slip. Shame!
Date of experience: May 19, 2020DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered 5 items for my teen daughter. Two pairs of jeans in the same size and only of them fit her, I sent the one pair back and asked they exchange for one size up. They never called or wrote and instead sent me a check and deducted $5.95 for a return fee. I kept it several weeks and then cashed it at my bank. Two days later, my bank debited my savings account the amount of the Alloy check plus another $10 for service fee. I called Alloy and was told I had to send them a letter with proof the bank charged me before they would do anything. I asked why they stopped payment on their own check and she said it was because they was a problem with the issuance of it (yeah it was short my money). This is the worst company to do online business with I have ever encountered and I probably order 5-10 items a month in online shopping. DO NOT ORDER FROM ALLOY.
