I have owned Patagonia vests and jackets for two decades and they hold up like few other items of clothing. The materials, stitching and color retention are all excellent. You get what you pay for, so it's a little more pricey than the competiton, but in this case, you buy once and don't spend on replacements. I like that the company cares about the environment too.
I placed an order but it was later canceled because the-item was sold out. They apologized and emailed me a 50% off coupon. Also additional further customer service was really great!
Your jackets and sweaters ought to be highly recommended. Recently purchased one and was surely satisfied. Thanks a million for your spectacular clothes! Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
A company with morals & the environment in mind. Great gear, good service. What's not to like? I especially like their stance on saving the planet. It's not just profits for them.
Patagonia is an outstanding company for outdoor and adventure wear. Their designs are pragmatic yet hip and attractive. They also sell an extensive line of outdoor gear for camping, canoeing, and such. I bought my parachute cording from them... that is how much I trust them. My SO bought one of their jackets years ago. Eventually the collar frayed, and I repaired it. But when my repair could no longer hold... we sent the jacket back to the company. It came back to us six weeks later in perfect condition. New collar... and at no charge. Their fleeces are epic, I might add. Five shiny rugged stars for Patagonia... you rock!
You suggest wrong size, give no length in inches,so I get wrong size, and know have to print a label to return.I have no printer, disabled, and have no car to get to place to return. And,now I just want my money back for. 100%patagonia fault, for incompetent web site to order off, let's confuse the costumer.the only resolution, money back,or right size sent to me.no hoop jumping, that's for you.you jump through hoops, you're fault, you're issue to resolve.PS.cant believe the store I loved pulling this $#*!.I won't shop Patagonia ever again, don't need spend money to be forced to jump through hoops. Tip for consumers:They need not give suggestions on sizes, and give length in inches, like pant in America are sold.stop confusing you're costumers, only to,screw there order up.I know my pants size, don't need you to manipulate that, and confuse that, just to purchase a pair of pants, what are you all $#*!ed. I was looking for a new hiking vest and came across this outdoor clothing company through my research. I decided to purchase a jacket, pants, and a vest from Patagonia, which I thought was a reputable brand. I love the quality of clothing that I bought from them, it is quite expensive but worth the money. The website is a little bit slow, but everything was good with my order. It fits very well, and I am satisfied with my purchase. Products used:jacket, pants, vest Service Value Shipping Quality
Ordered a shirt for my daughter in November and when it arrived I did not think she would like it. According to the website you can return it to a Patagonia store. In Calgary there is one store so I drove to Calgary and took the train downtown. Walked a few blocks to the store only to hear "Oh no we don't do that no more. Change of policy and blah blah. So I returned to the train and back home. Went on the website to get a return label and it would not work - so I called the company and the service rep said "Oh yea we have a lot of trouble with that. Sorry". So I made up my own label and went to the post office and paid 16 dollars to mail it. About 10 days later I get a credit of 66 dollars. My total I paid was 79 for the shirt and 16 for delivery totaling 95 dollars. So I lost 30 dollars and spent about a full day on this return. I am done. No more online shopping. Totally un-organized
My 200$ jacket fell apart in 3 months. They refused to refund me and despite having a "lifetime guarantee ". They said they would put a patch in it but I have to pay shipping and the turn around time is nearly 6 months! All they are interested in is making a profit. Tip for consumers:It is not wirth the money. Products used:A down jacket Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
I have many Patagonia fleece and knit jackets, and very few other items of their women's clothing. This is because their sizing can be a bit crazy. Their fit model must have the hips and chest of an adolescent boy, so if you have a womanly or muscular body you may have to order a couple sizes up from your usual especially for things like trousers and then you may experience other fit problems. I gave up on trying to get a good fit on their shorts and trousers, but I do okay on jackets (I am a very tall size 8, and a medium in Patagonia S/M/L clothing). Even then, sometimes a medium Patagonia jacket can be a little snug. Men's clothing seems to fit the same as other clothing lines: my husband takes the same sizes in Patagonia as he does elsewhere. So I dock Patagonia a star for expecting women to be built like teenage boys. But the clothing lasts for years and years, so they get a thumbs up for quality. Order fulfillment can be iffy, especially when you're ordering sale items. However, if you place an order and they find they are out of stock in an item, they will send you an apology and a good discount code for future purchases. They don't fight customers on returns, either. Overall, I'd say they stand behind their products, even if they have an unrealistic image of an adult woman's body.
