    Ordered a 3 carat total weight diamond bridal set (UC **************) Order cost $2702.95. On 11/22/23, FedEx called us and said they were delivering an empty package to our home. Belk had shipped this ring in a white padded bag as opposed to a box. The bag had gotten stuck in a piece of machinery, we still have the bag, and FedEx claims the contents was lost between Memphis and Pittsburgh. All of this was explained to Belk, but they still refuse to issue a refund or provide a replacement shipment of the ring. Every Belk representative says the dollar amount is above their authority and that it would have to go to "corporate" for a decision. I have called Belk every day since 11/23/23. This is horrific customer service. The only mistake we made was purchasing this ring from Belk. Belk's issue is with FedEx not with us as the customer but is punishing us as it appears they don't want to provide a replacement or refund. Per FedEx - Belk has even filed not one, but two claims with FedEx, and still refuses to provide a re-shipment of the ring or a refund to us. Tip for consumers:Belk is a horrible company to deal with - terrible customer service - they set their customer services reps and supervisors up for failure daily. Customers cannot speak with anyone above a "supervisor" even when the supervisor recognizes that what is happening with an order is REALLY wrong.     Poor customer service. Poor selection of eye shadow and lip stick No longer can get a makeover to see if you like the makeup products. Hardly any petite clothes. Even the petite and short sizes are too long. Most dresses and pants are made for Amazon women who are 6 feet tall. Clothes way over priced.     I received a marketing promotion in the mail from them stating that if I used my elite Mastercard anywhere during the month of December that I would get 5 points per dollar. So I used it to pay off my cruise. Now they are saying I had to use it in the store. BS. I'm done with Belk. I would have used one of my other cards to pay off the cruise that had a better per motion had I know Belk was full of S"@$ Tip for consumers:I will not use my belk rewards card ever again.     I tried for 4 days to place a large order. When I tried to push "place order", it would say "address not recognized". This is 2023 folks. People move around all the time. I spoke to a really wicked (in a bad way) "customer service rep' she wanted me to go back into my cart, click on the item, write it down...and call her to see if the item was available. On their site it indicated many items were in stock. I told her it would take 2 hours to find the info! Why can't SHE go into Google? Why not? I bet they did not have half the stuff advertised on site. This company needs to just shut it's doors. However when I gave them the UPC Codes to look up, the item was "No longer Available'. Belk, go ahead and shut down your order online system. It is antiquated. Or just close your doors.     I have shopped at the Belk store in Alabama, but since I moved I have made three online purchases. The shipping is slow and the packaging is dismal. I purchased two Frye purses, one pair of earrings, and a Free People cardigan. The two purses were great but the package took a very long time to deliver and it was torn by the time I received it. The purses were fine. The earrings, they were LeVians and did not come with any paper or information, it was just thrown in a levian box. The delivery took forever too, and the small box was pretty flimsy. The last piece was a pretty cardigan that was pricey. They sent the wrong size and it was just thrown inside a plastic bag, no tissue, or outer cover, nothing. I sent the cardigan back and on the 11th, it was received. It is now the 30th and I haven't received a credit. I am following up on the return and they are giving me the run around and not answering my call. I called customer service and the persons name was Stephen who ended up just transferring me after I told him about the return. I tried calling again, but its been several minutes. No tone or response indicating a timeframe for waiting. I am just super disssapointed with this company and its lack of service. I won't be ordering from them again.     Everyone knows that credit scores go up and down. With that being said. Belk will randomly pull your credit and if you have something negative " even if it's wrong and you won your dispute ' They will cancel your credit card. Without notifying you! Then when you go to the store at Christmas time and try to use your card they tell you it's been canceled! I've never had anyone do this before! Randomly pull credit and someone else has mistakenly put something on your credit report and cancel my card!BELK WILL CANCEL YOUR ACCOUNT WITHOUT NOTICE! Service Value
    Don't purchase from them. First off if you need to return your purchase YOU will have to pay for the shipping which mine was almost $10 AND PRINT THE LABEL AND GO TO FED EX where they made me package everything myself even handed me the roll of tape like I work there! Secondly, I received an email stating they received my item and my refund will be issues in 7 days. 7 days passed no refund issued. Called customer service where I was told "now that you have called I am going to approve your refund and will have to wait 1-3 days." Basically have to wait 10 days in total (may not have even gotten my refund if I did not call or pay attention to my bank account) on top of my $10 return I paid, AMAZON COVERS THAT, go with them. AMAZON also issues your refund AS SOON AS THEY RECEIVE THE ITEM and will PACKAGE for you! SHOP WITH AMAZON. I will never purchase with belk ever again and I will spread the word.     I worked for Belk in Cape Coral, I was the best employee, on September 22 we were hit by Hurricane IAN, my house in PKWY was totally lost, we spent 12 days without water and electricity, Belk opened on October 9,2022. My critical conditions prevented me from returning to the work immediately the current boss Pamela Perreira said that I had family problems when she saw the photos of my house.     It is really a crapshoot if your items arrive in tact new or used. I have recvd great products in great condition but more times than not I get opened items or clearly used items/damaged items. The return process makes it not worth the purchase. I've received damaged and or toasters used. Cologne used. Toys broken or opened and tapes up.     I've done business with belk since I was old enough to do business with belk. Ordered a rug for for my kitchen. $21 and some change. Got something that might fit barbies house but I don't think she'd want it with the crappy quality. Oh and belk days they can't return my money because it's a marketplace vendor? An obvious scammer?
    The value of the clothing is not even worth it your money second if you open a credit card via where is on their synchrony bank they're very tough they won't give up even if you have father and charges in your account. They lied to you the store when you step into return items those people they don't even know what the hell they're doing. They're so dumb stupid they should be fired and I can't believe it.     If I could rate Belk with negative stars I would. I received a package with sewage in the glass decanters. And the box was marked It Doesn't Work. But they shipped it to me anyway. I am beyond disgusted. I received them as shown in the pictures attached. I literally threw up. I can't believe any company would ship this out to a customer. I am on hold for customer service now. I am in shock.
    Item still has not arrived. I have not been able to reach any customer service representative by phone to discuss. Via email I asked for refund and was told I need to wait longer. Very unhappy. Will never recommend or use again.
    I found an Alfred Dunner "stained glass" woman's top for $58.50 + "free standard shipping on all orders." The price dropped after checking a box for 30% off ($40.95 after coupon was applied). During checkout, the price-checker app, Honey tested out some other coupons which brought the price of the blouse to $38.02. Estimated Tax was $4.36. But as soon as I hit the checkout button, the price would jump to $62.86! I almost hit the "pay now" button before noticing. I tried a few times and each time it wanted to increase my payment to $62.86. I'm done - no sale.

    I cannot tell you exactly how many jeans I have tried on to come up with a correct fit, the labels are all marked wrong on sizing and the t shirts I have been wearing for a few years (Coast Line, another) XL are all short and improper sized. This leads me to believe all the clothing is all seconds. I have been shopping Belk for years but honestly I am finished there unless its an emergency. Tip for consumers:I would never buy a shirt or jean online from BELK, if you think the store is seconds (like I do) the Belk online is worse.     Managers are unprofessional at the Bel Air Mall. Unfair treatment by store manager and HR. Retaliation for doing your job properly and descrimination because you are black.     I ordered shoes from this store and they came with a security tag attached to them. I shipped them back and got them for a second time with the security tag attached to the shoes again. This is not okay at all! I tried calling customer service and they have me waiting for more than an hr. I'm so disappointed. I want a refund ASAP especially with COVID-19 and Mother's Day coming I can't afford to get robbed. Plus not to mention this shoes were to use when I got back to work. Shame on you.
    Bought this cookware set from Belk. First time I used the skillet on medium heat the inside and bottom burned up. The second time I used the pot the inside started peeling and got all over the food, which I threw out. The small pot I had to throw out because the same thing happened, the inside lining peeled and flaked and I had to throw it away. So disappointed that Belk would sell a product of such poor quality.     I just left my local Belk store (Centerville, Georgia) and was once again disappointed in the store personnel. I had to return some male clothing that I had used a $20 Belk Rewards Money towards the purchase. The men's shorts that I wanted to keep was not deducted from my $20 Rewards Money, the Rewards Money was applied towards another pair of shorts that I did not want to keep. I told Linda (tall black lady in the men's dept) that she might have to call a manager to assist with the transaction. I was not sure if she would understand what I was trying to do. She listened to my explanation of what I desired to do and looked puzzled to me. I once again explained that I wanted to return the shorts that had received the discount on and apply it towards the shorts that I wanted to keep. I once again suggested that she may want to have a manager come and assist with the transaction. She copped an attitude and said whether rudely if I didn't think she could handle the problem that I had suggested several times that she may want to call a manager. Her attitude was not pleasant nor her tone of voice. I immediately explained that I was not sure if she would have the authority to do what I was asking. She picked the phone up and called the manager on duty. Jay (manager on duty) came within a few minutes and I explained to him the situation once again. He allowed me to return the items I did not want but said he could not exchange the shorts kept for the discount price. He said I would have to wait a week or more for the Rewards Money to be put back on my card? Ok. So I will once again have to make the trip to the store and return the shorts I'm keeping and start all over again... It's unfortunate but I have noticed the several times I have shopped in this store that some of the personnel seem to have an attitude problem. Some are assistant managers also.
