I was given a used satellite laptop of which the hard drive was starting to not work. Didn't know if an install disc ever came with it, which was missing. The worst part is this computer was fixed in a way to only do a certain Windows. I couldn't change it to another OS. Or upgrade it to Windows 10. Videos available on the web to do so are unreliable. Right now it won't access the internet dsl or wifi.
We have been using our Toshiba laptop computer for years with no problems. We had to have a virus removed several years ago, and it has worked like new ever since. It has been reliable and when we have to replace it, we will definitely buy another Toshiba. Tip for consumers:The computer is great. Easy to use. Service Value Quality
I really like my Toshiba laptop. The only issue I have with it, is that the battery has died very easily and no longer holds a charge. Also I found out you can`t use it in Europe because they don`t seem to have a converter for a three prong plug.
I guess I don't see a lot of difference except in size of course. I have a Toshiba and have had no problems with it, except it's not big enough! Just have local TV and it comes in fine.
I sent my laptop to them just to replace the DVD drive and they wiped all the data off and replaced my motherboard with a refurbished one. Within 3 days, it started shutting down without notice and in less than a week I was shut completely out. I shipped my computer back to them 4 times only to end up with a dead laptop. I lost everything; buyer beware. They did not help me at all. Steer clear!
This microwave works great, but there was one thing that could make it better and only one minor problem that I ran into. What they could make better is the interior lighting. It's not that bright and kind of has a bluish tint making it a little bit difficult to see what the machine is doing to your food. The problem that I ran into after using this microwave for just a few hours is a horrible and loud, grinding kind of noise coming from the microwave. I was concerned, but when I took the turntable and the little ring that it rides on out, the machine didn't make any noise at all. It appears the ring underneath the heavy glass turntable which only has three small plastic wheels was causing all the noise. I'm going to try and call the customer service number in the instruction manual and see if they will just mail me a new three wheel ring for the turntable. Hopefully, that will solve the problem and I won't have to return this microwave. The sound is loud enough to make it quite annoying when you're trying to cook in the kitchen. I doubt this loud noise happens on all the machines, I think it was just this one that I happened to receive. Since they can't use any type of metal inside the microwave while it's operating, plastic and glass is the only thing the only option for the turntable to cook your food. Take care and don't be afraid to try this machine. It's really a great little microwave. https://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-ML2-EC10SA-BS-Convection-Energy-saving/dp/B08G4Q5196
I purchased a tablet from them and I won't even get into why the quality of the product was horrible. Nevertheless, the screen was acting up so I couldn't do anything on it. I called them up the third week it acted up. Might I also note that the product was literally two weeks old when it was starting to have problems and I couldn't return it to the store due to a 14-day return policy. I did the warranty claim, whatever. Charged me money to ship the product back to them. They had my broken tablet for two months, nearly the entire summer. Never told me why until I called them up and they told me the repair parts for my tablet was "backordered". After almost three months, they sent me a brand new replacement. I sold it online and never wanted to deal with this company again. For those three months that this tablet was at the "warehouse to fix", I purchased myself an iPad and didn't have a problem since.
Last year I bought a Toshiba RAC-PD1011CRU 10,000 Cooling Capacity (BTU) Portable Air Conditioner at a great price. It is chilling my living room again this year. This AC rolls from room to room easily and it is not evaporative. So, I don't need to fill it with water all of the time as I would with many portable ACs. It has many settings and even comes with a remote control. It is also a dehumidifier. It's two in one! I thought that I would just roll it around to different rooms but I decided to buy a window AC for my bedroom this year. So, I bought a Toshiba RAC-WK0512CMRU window AC. It, too, blasted out cold air within only a minute of turning it on. I like the Toshiba designs. That is one thing that I look for when buying anything. Some companies have not changed their designs in decades. I'm sorry but they are outdated and ugly. Also, I trust Toshiba. They are a reputable company. I don't know some of the other companies that I saw and I wouldn't buy anything made by a company that I don't know to be reputable. I didn't want to spend a lot, either, as I would have done with most of the major name brand companies. Toshiba does have the best prices for whatever BTUs you want. I always check for the best product at the best price from a reputable company. I like being a smart shopper. Besides these things, Toshiba ACs come with everything you need for installation. You don't need to try to find the right installation kit. So, I completely endorse Toshiba air conditioners. In fact, the only problem I had was that the window unit was quite heavy. My daughter told me so when she installed it. She told me that her ACs were lighter. I don't know which brand she has. I researched to find out that the lighter an AC is, the less area it can cool. The weight is due to the amount of copper used in the AC unit. The more, the better. So, while you are considering air conditioning units, definitely keep Toshiba in mind. And if you ever have an issue, you can easily get in touch with Toshiba at https://www.toshiba-lifestyle.com/us/. This includes their US 800 number and Technical Support Outside the US among other things.
I purchased a satellite L55t one year and two months ago and the hinge is broken so that the screen is splitting and literally ready to fall off. There are actually metal pieces that have broken off the hinge inside my screen that I can see. I have never dropped it... just usual wear and tear. Toshiba basically said because it has been over a year that I am out of warranty and I have to just get it fixed on my own. Their customer service person was terrible; I could barely understand her and she just kept repeating the same thing over and over no matter what question I asked. I then spoke to 3 additional people who eventually referred me back to the first person I talked to. I guess they build their computers just well enough to make it through the warranty time. They referred me to their toshiba repair center and said they would make the repairs for a "minimal fee." When I called them, I had to wait on hold for over 30 minutes to be told that it would be a minimal fee of $252 to repair my computer... so not worth it. I did a few searches online and found that broken hinges on the Toshiba satellite are common. Don't waste your money! I will be duck taping my computer to try and hold it together.
I have a new Toshiba laptop I bought on their Website. It cost nearly $1,000 has 17.3" LED screen, Core i7, all the bells and whistles. The PCIE card reader doesn't work, the FN key doesn't work and the back-up functions in Win 10 don't work. I cannot hear so I can't use phone Support. I emailed their "Cusomer Service" but no reply. So I filed a claim with the Better Businss Buearu and Toshiba's response was "Here is the link to our Support Website use this. We consider the matter closed." Their Website is useless, I've been there a million times. It is all user forums and they have diagnostic software to download that is dated 2012. It is a junk site. They have the logo for the BBB on their sales page so that means they pay money to the BBB. Whose side do you think the BBB will take? I will file claims with the FTC, econsumer.gov and serveral other agencies. STAY AWAY FORM TOSHIBA! Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
Computer laptop under warranty, the charger breaks, therefore, no way to charge the computer. Called tech support and was told that it would take 2 weeks to receive a new charger and they demanded a credit card number to temporarily charge for $71.00 until the damaged one was returned. So, not only do they take $71 dollars for a number of weeks, but they also refused to overnight or speed up the delivery of the charger, leaving us without the use of the computer for 2 weeks. Do not ever do business with these people! They are rude on the phone and offer no alternative. Also, their product stinks.
The website is easy to use, simple, everything is where you expect it to be. Very user friendly. The colours seperate the page nicley
I had a good deal recently on a 55 inch Toshiba flat screen. The pros are that the HD resolution is clear and crisp, with good sound and tight bass. The remote is hassle free and easy to use. The cons are that it won't allow switching between Bluetooth and tv speakers without exiting your program first. Also the wifi fails to connect at times and is not a compatible alexa device. Tip for consumers:good for the price, but i recommend to shop around for higher quality even if it costs a little more Value Quality
