My sister ordered a jacket from here and accidentally put in wrong credit card info, our mistake. While we were speaking to a representative - she was very rude, with no sense of customer service, even when we told her she should be a little nicer and more welcoming by the way she sends her emails. It also took a lot of back and forth emails to understand what went wrong and you could tell she was pissed having to repeat herself. What keeps customers are the way staff treats them babe, just some advice for you. If the store wants to know exactly who this was contact me. We shop a lot and buy expense clothing. This store definitely lost a few customers from this situation (me my sister and family members that were close to buying).
To everyone else thinking of shopping here, if u find a style you like just go but it on another website to avoid bad customer service.
Date of experience: February 8, 2020Ordered a top, didn't fit, returned it the next day, paid the shipping fee back to them. They just emailed now with a store credit only, said because I used a promo code, could not get my money back and deducted $4.95 shipping! I will never shop from them again. There are so many other great websites to shop from Revolve, Net-Porter etc. that don't put you through this stress!

It must have been very SMALL!
Customer service did not care at all.

UPDATE: although I never got tracking or confirmation email support emailed back very quickly letting me know my order is on its way. Super excited! I would purchase from them again. Thanks :)
Date of experience: January 31, 2018I bought two Canada Goose jackets off Singer22 with expedited shipping. The items came quickly and in great condition. Unfortunately I didn't realize one had been a return and someone had worn it with the tags still on it, but I found trash in the pocket. I called Customer Service and received a response shortly after with an offer to either return the sold-out coat, or a partial refund and to keep it. I was very impressed and I will shop here again.
Date of experience: February 20, 2017DONT purchase from this company. I bought a pair of jeans that did not even look like the photo on the website once they arrived. I returned them to find out that I am now stuck with a $200 credit! Customer service was the most rude experience I have ever encountered. The girl I spoke to actually said "it's your problem not ours" and then hung the phone up on me. I now have to buy an overpriced piece of junk from them that I am sure I can find much cheaper from a more reputable company with an actual return policy. NEVER AGAIN!

Date of experience: May 1, 2013I authorized to charge $154.00, they charged my credit card twice: $141.95, and $198. The Singer's never answered the phone. Both charges are fraudulent! They also send an incomplete order and want to file a dispute with UPS. The packages for the bogus orders came completely seal. UPS did not lose the merchandise. They kept it and want to collect it from UPS; more fraud! I have never in 20 yrs have had any missing items from any carrier. The merchandise was returned and now want to issue a credit after showing total disregard for their very own name and reputation, besides violating my good faith toward Singer22. They need to be reported and shut down! This is my first negative review ever, this abuse must stop. Singer22 will be reported to every agency possible including every mail carrier company, BBB, and the NY AG.
Date of experience: May 7, 2020Stay far away from this Site. Purchased sweater and returned it because it was damaged. I really wanted sweater so they said they fixed it and sent it back to me. It was still damaged! Received an email saying that they gave me a full refund but when I got my statement they took out extra money saying that they were holding money back for shipping costs. To make it worse they help back a substantial refund for 30 days. I had to call to get my money back. They are breaking the law with there business practices! I will never buy again! Beware! The Better Business Bureau should look into this company! Too many negative feedback scores! I was shocked when I saw this companies feedback. Wish I saw it sooner.

Their website isn't spectacular and I hate all the photos of celebrities wearing stuff but, whatev. I usually find something somewhere else then see it on sale here and buy it.

Date of experience: June 14, 2021Definitely a scam! So disgusting! Can I give 0 star to it? Terrible customer service! So rude and arrogant! Ordered a commando jogger from this site and came a jogger with 2 defects on the waist part but w/ the tag on it. And then I ordered one from the official website. Oh my, when the jogger arrived, I was kind of outraged. The one came from singer22 looks like a fake one! And they only return store credit and deduct the shipping cost from the refund! Shipping cost is 9.95 but super slow... While I ordered from the official website, shipping is free! Jesus, I don't want to shop there anymore but they retain my money as store credit...
Date of experience: April 14, 2020I bought a sweatshirt in March and it took weeks to receive it. The sweatshirt was too small so I sent it back immediately. I have yet to receive a refund for 3 months. I have sent them the postal information that it was sent. No emails back to me. No phone calls back to me. I have emailed Eden Singer several times without him answering a single email. Completely ignoring my request for a refund. I regret ever ordering from singer22.

I still have an issue with the TOS, but I will suggest if you shop with Singer22 make sure you are 100% sure of the item you are buying. The fit, the wear, the size before shopping so you will not have to return. I did not return my bag and I still use it and receive compliments from everyone that sees it.

My first experience was great, and the item was exactly as pictured (but I had seen it in person). They have changed their terms of service (TOS) and it is a win win for them. I can no longer shop with singer22. If I order a defective item I don't want to be stuck with a credit at singer22.

I was a little wary of shopping at Singer22 after reading some of the reviews, but they had the *******@rbrick version I've been searching for in stock and with a 30% discount for an end of summer sale so I jumped on it. I'm in Northern NJ and it looks like they're located in NY so I received my package in 2 days which I did not expect at all. Everything was 100% authentic, new, and in pristine condition. I could not have been happier with my experience so I wanted to make sure I left a review!

The posts here by Tally and Jill: posted on the same date and both glowing. They are completely contrary to most other reviews you'll find elsewhere on the web about this online store.
Shoppers feel ripped off by Singer22, not only because of its "credit only" policy... but also because its prices are much higher than most other stores. By reading "real" reviews, you'll notice a trend: Singer22 doesn't maintain the stock it advertises. What you order may never arrive or arrive so late that you don't want or need it anymore. Could it mean that vendors are catching on to Singer22's bad rep with consumers and not supplying it with inventory?
My advice: google the item you want and buy it somewhere else.
Date of experience: August 20, 2010Doesn't get worse than this! What online merchant carrying contemporary or designer brands doesn't refund returns? Maybe in 1990, this would have been passable. I am so regretful purchasing items from this store and a store credit only lasts a year, I hate to break it to them, but I believe that to be illegal.
Very strongly recommend against buying a single thing at this shop.
Date of experience: April 4, 2013STAY AWAY! I'm really disappointed with this website. Yes, they do have some great stuff, but had I known about the non return policy, I would have stayed clear. I'm an Internet shopper, have been for years. Never have I not been able to return for a refund. Yes, I know that I didn't read the return policy, but I never even thought that was possible, being used to internet shopping g and never running into any problems with returns. Now, I have an item that is on back order till mid July and if I try to cancel, they will still give store credit. No other place charges you for a back ordered item until it is being shipped out. Very sneaky!

Date of experience: May 16, 2012I ordered a very expensive pair of shoes (Tibi Amber heels - $365) that I have been pining away for months... they came USED from Singer22! I am so disappointed. Please save your money and shop at reputable stores like Nordstrom where you can return items easily without hassle (and where you receive BRAND NEW items as opposed to used shoes -- gross!)
Date of experience: April 16, 2013Just like everyone is saying, will never even visit the site again! Almost feel like ive been tricked into buying a pair of shorts. I wanted to check how much they will cost after a further 30% off so i added them to bag, proceed to checkout and had to enter all my details including bank details and coupon code for it to show me full price after 30% discount. And after ive done that it just placed my order without me even submitting or confirming the order! So i emailed then and obviously got no response. It also states that i absolutely had to email them a copy of my passport and bank card that i used (for security reasons) in order for them to process my order. So i thought if i don't email it to them they will give me some sort of response and atlest won't proceed with the order. But what do you know, instead of giving me any response they processed my order even without the required proof of identity... may they burn in hell.

If you are not going to allow refunds you should make it clear when the customer checks out. Furthermore, customer service should be called "customer dis-service." They are the rudest individuals I have ever dealt with.
Buy from Revolveclothing.com, Shopbop.com or Piperlime.com but whatever you do, DO NOT BUY HERE!

Date of experience: October 1, 2010I've been shopping at singer22 for a few years now. I've never had an issue until recently with a return. This was my first or second return by the way. The CS rep, Lara stated the returns team had to run the security cameras to the time they were packaging my order because they didn't believe they made an error packaging my order. WOW! Really?! Ultimately they sent me the wrong pair of Frame denim jeans. All that trouble to get them to believe they actually sent the wrong me pair of jeans. Was it worth it Singer22? You lost a loyal customer due to your handling of a return which you guys were negligent for. Oh and the return, I was given store credit so I'm forced to buy something to get what is truly owed to me. Mind you I've spent thousands at their store. And finally regarding the products they sell, I think they leave it in a rat infested warehouse because their clothes always had a strange stale odor. Good riddance singer22 I won't be shopping at your store again. You just lost a loyal customer. See ya.

I have ordered from singer22 numerous times and i can't believe how fast they are at getting me my orders, its just great!
