CVSPhoto.com Review
Per CVS website, it stated I can take a vhs tape to thr store and they can transfer the contents to a dvd. I brought my vhs tape to the store at 4302 Cortez Rd Bradenton Florida and there was no one at the front counter or the photo dept and finally an older lady with long blonde hair came and I told her what I needed to be done and she looked at me funny like she did not know what I was talking about and told me to wait while she checked with someone else. She came back and said they do not do this kind of transfer. I told her that it said it can be done on the cvs website and she said not to believe everything you read. I just left. Waste of my time. I found a company that is trustworthy and will take care of my request!

Date of experience: November 6, 2024I had a bad experience at the CVS pharmacy at 4302 Cortez Rd. Bradenton Florida on 5-23-24
I had a question about a certain medication and the pharmacist who was black and I believe wore glasses@ about 12:00pm was very rude and seemed like I was bothering him and interrupting him from what he was doing. He did not answer my questions. So I put back all the items I was going to purchase from CVS and went to Walgreens and bought what I needed and the pharmacist answered all my questions. I will not be treated like that by anyone. I guess they do not care about my business. The CVS manager at the Cortez Rd location needs to train their staff on customer service and treating all customers wuth respect! I will not be returning to any CVS store in the future and will post this review on social media sites!

“CVS Doesn't Honor What They Say”
October 14th, 2024
I have been shopping on the CVS website as well as in store for years... I am an ExtraCare Plus member (pay a fee monthly or yearly and receive $10 ExtraCare bucks added to your account monthly)... At times I have had trouble with coupons, but the CVS reps can see the mistake and help with it... I'm not sure what the issues are now with CVS... I placed an online order for pick up and utilized the coupons/ExtraCare bucks attached to my account... The deal I thought I was getting was spend $30 get $10 ExtraCare bucks back... I spent over $30 and got 13 cents back, which was for basically shopping at CVS... I contacted the CVS ExtraCare 800 number and the rep Lilly stated I shouldn't have used my coupons... I explained I always utilize my coupons/ExtraCare bucks once everything is added to the cart whether I am shopping in store, online, or online for store pick up... I also explained whether you're shopping in store or online, the system doesn't ask if you want to utilize coupons until right before you make your payment... Lilly continued to state once my coupons/ExtraCare bucks were used that made my total go below $30... I was like of course my total went below $30 after utilizing my coupons/ExtraCare bucks, and it states as long as my total is $30 or more before any coupons/taxes are added my reward is granted... I asked Lilly if I couldn't utilize coupons/extra bucks on my account what's the point in being awarded them; furthermore, why do I pay a yearly fee to CVS to receive a $10 extra bucks coupon monthly... Lilly stated there was nothing he could do and asked if there was anything else he could help me with... I have never heard of not utilizing coupons/ExtraCare bucks that are attached to your account, and I was disappointed with CVS to say the least that they didn't even try to look into what the issue could have actually been...

Date of experience: October 14, 2024I can't speak for all CVS products, but I bought their water flosser, and it was very poor quality. It only lasts for a few months to a year, and not even. The first time I bought it, it worked fine for a few months and then just like that it stopped working. I changed the batteries and tried to fix it, but it simply just would not work so I had to buy a new one. When I bought the new one, it worked fine for a few months. I changed the batteries, kept it clean and enjoyed it for a few months and then one day it had low performance, so I changed the batteries and cleaned it, and used it and then I tried to turn it off, but it wouldn't turn off, so I slammed it down and then it just stopped working like that. It is simply a bad product. A warranty should not be that short for a water flosser. I know that because, years ago, I used the Water Pik water-flosser and that worked well for years so I am going to buy that one again and I think that you should too. Take my advice, be careful what kind of water flosser you buy and don't buy the CVS brand one because it is no good.

Date of experience: September 19, 2024CVS Pharmacy web site is the WORST! I can never speak to a pharmaist. They almost never get my prescriptions right. They do not validate that my medication is covered by my insurance. My doctor's office called in my latest precripts FOUR times and they still do not show them.
Can anyone recommend a good pharmacy in Katy Texas?
Thanks, FRUSTRATED

Date of experience: August 12, 2024I'm enjoying it so far, but there is a learning curve and I'm still in it. I've lost a few savings opportunities by not knowing about the time clocks & a few of my potential rebates that were clicked on disappeared when I tried to submit them. Now, as soon as I'm in the store, I check Ibotta to see if my rebates are still present & clicked on; then as soon as I get in the car, I submit before they disappear. That's part of the learning curve. I used to wait until I got home or even the next day, but no more. I'm hopeful it will continue to get better & better. I learn more about the site all the time.

Date of experience: July 10, 2024We realized we were being billed approximately $5.00 a month for Extra care. Apparently when my wife was at CVS buying medical supplies she was signed up for Extra Care. CVS has no documentation that she signed for the program. She probably indicated when asked if she wanted a discount and she would have of course say yes. Also, to sell at the counter to someone buying Chemo supplies and is about 70 does not sound like it is anyone's best interest. After, almost an hour on the phone it appears we may get a refund.
Products used:we never used extra care after we were inappropriately signed up.

Date of experience: May 22, 2024My doctor called in my meds to be refilled. I've been on these meds for 15 years. 2 days later I go to cvs to pick up the medicine. They tell me that they are waiting for insurance approval. I said I need the meds cause I am out so I will pay cash for the medicine. Then they proceed to tell me that I can't get the meds unless I have authorization from doctor to pay for the medication with cash. The doctor is the one who prescribed the medication. I'm sure he doesn't care how it's paid for.

Date of experience: May 11, 2024Just out of the hospital where my cardiologist changed my prescription for a medication that, ironically had been delivered during my hospital stay. Operator was willing to send a return label but her supervisor denied it because "it had been renewed via the internet". What a lame and uncaring response especially since CVS got the prescription for the replacement medication. Advice: stay away from CVS. They don't care about you.

Date of experience: May 9, 2023I've been in the Carepass plan for a very long time. For the past six months or so I've attempted to use my $10.00 at CVS and been told each time that I wasn't in their system. Ironically they continue to take money out of my account for the Carepass plan. I've called numerous times and they always told me (their customer service is NOT in the US) that they fixed the problem and I can use the $10. I went today (reminder this has been going on for over 6 months) to CVS and again was told I was not in the system. Again they took the fee out of my account. I canceled the plan and told the person I spoke with that CVS stole money from my account and that I wanted to be reimbursed (for over 6 months). He said all they could do is allow - yes he said allow - me to have $10. WTF! CVS sucks, they are thieves. If you are with this crooked program get out while you can!
Date of experience: June 2, 2024I now spend over 10 minutes on the phone, talking to Artificial STUPIDITY, trying to get answers from a Pharmacist, only to be asked to leave a voicemail! I use to get through to a REAL person and get the RIGHT answer within minnutes. Artificial STUPIDITY may be making the company more efficient, but it has reduced the efficiency of the MILLIONS of callers. I will be seeking out a smaller pharmacy that still values the customer.
Date of experience: June 26, 2024I shop often at cvs on mammoth rd in Manchester nh. The store clerks are always kind and helpful. Summer who was working tonight went out of her way(above and beyond) to help me. Masson is so nice also.

Date of experience: September 10, 2023When will senior management deal with the bad morale and stressed out staff. Not to mention those excessively long register receipts that have coupons that expire before you can get back to use them. My sense is Senior Management is too greedy to care. After all it cost a lot to maintain 4 private jets.
Tip for consumers:Try Walgreens

Date of experience: July 8, 2023Trying to get my diabetic meds has never been harder. You are not the priority. I've never been on hold with the pharmacy for less than 30 fricking minutes. God forbid people need urgent medications. Fill time is always at least 45 min. Rude and disrespectful when I tell them what I need. In a rush to get u off the phone when you have already been on hold for 30-45 minutes. Unbelievable
Date of experience: September 5, 2023The various CVS pharmacies I've been to always seem understaffed. It is difficult to get good care because of understaffing. I've heard I will no longer be able to phone CVS and reach a human. When my doctor renews my prescriptions, I'm having them sent elsewhere.
Date of experience: January 17, 2024CVS will never have all of your prescriptions at the same time. They will either tell you their machine is down or I have all but or our shipment didn't even come today Etc lies! I am now again without a prescription I must take every day. CVS does not care instead of just telling you you need to go to another location or another Drug Company all together they just let you suffer they we'll just get your money from the next person. So go ahead and die they don't care!
Date of experience: August 7, 2023I am African American and have been treated terribly by CVS Pharmacy. I have a chronic health condition and CVS has deliberately tried to prevent me from obtaining my medication. Staff has yelled at me in front of other customers. I believe that CVS has an issue with me because of my ethnicity. Staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. They would rather have me get sick instead of assisting with my healthcare. They want me to get sick. That is why I have been having problems getting the medications I need. They want my health to fail because of my ethnicity. I have experienced the same problems with two pharmacies. This must stop immediately before someone gets sick and dies.
Tip for consumers:CVS needs competent pharmacy managers. Customer service needs to be improve before customers become ill and die.

Date of experience: August 24, 2023Bad customer service. If I could give it zero stars i would. I have had 3 bad out of 4. Long waits. When I bring up and issue with the phone # they tell me I need to fix it by calling corporate. Maybe I am old fashioned, but what happened to customer service. I waited over 30 minutes with only one car in front of me.
Tip for consumers:Do better!

Date of experience: July 24, 2023The pharmacists need to get their $#*! together! One month an rx goes through ins. No issues and then the very next month they state ins. Wont cover the rx! Never answer the phone! I stayed on hold for an hour! And not just once! They are awful go elsewhere! Had to call Insurance company myself to correct the CVS
Tip for consumers:Nothing!

Date of experience: January 4, 2024I visited the CVS in Uxbridge Mass. The tech (Brad) was very rude, unacceptable how he spoke to me. The prescription had an incorrect date so I was informed I needed a replacement which I understood. His tone and presentation was unacceptable. I had to ask why the prescription could not be filled. He did not offer a reason why until I asked. All he had to say was, I'm sorry but the prescription had an incorrect date. Employees such as Brad need some polish when servicing customers especially those that have health issues. Show a little empathy when working with any customers in retail.

Date of experience: September 7, 2023Today I spent well over an hour trying to place an online order and the app and online kept asking me to verify my address. The issue is that once I hit save it clears out my name, address, email and phone number over and over again. So basically I am unable to submit an order. So called CVS customer service line and the guy wanted me to provide the item #s for each item in my cart. Sure...where do I get that from. So then he goes on this impossibly long speech about all the information provided on line, you know item description, blah, blah. Like I have zero brain cells. I finally hung up if I wanted to listen to a speech I would choose a more entertaining subject. Well, CVS, today you lost me sell thank you very much!
Service
Date of experience: April 28, 2023Always long lines. Takes days to get prescriptions filled. Drive thru usually closed. Usually can't get thru on the phone no matter how long you wait. There is nothing positive that I can say about my local CVS pharmacy. I don't blame the employees. There is just never, ever enough help there.
Service
Date of experience: August 11, 2023With the shortage on certain medications you would think that certain staff could at least be a bit kinder to the customers. There is one particular staff member ( I will not make her name public out of respect, even though she doesn't really deserve respect) who has been with CVS for many years, and I have never once witnessed her be kind, or non-condescending to customers. I worked at this location many years ago with this staff member and I believe she goes out of her way to be cruel. I will no longer use CVS for my prescriptions for myself or my family. Yes, one bad apple can ruin the bunch.
Service
Date of experience: June 12, 2023Corporate CVS It's obvious that you dont value your customers at the pharmacy. I've transferred my prescription three times now, and at each location, I have to wait upwards of thirty minutes in the store or drive through. Its not a peak time issue as I have tried on several ocassions different times. Your employees are consistently courteous and diligent in their efforts to assist the customer. It's also clear that you don't value your staff because nobody should work nonstop at their job dealing with irate clients. You run a multimillion dollar corporation, so stop being so avaricious and straighten things out.

Date of experience: January 11, 2024They take no responsibility for their errors because of course they are perfect. There have been way to many hassles with them filling my prescriptions in a timely manner. Robo call tells you it's ready and half the time it's not. Some of their employees are very rude without consequence
Date of experience: July 7, 2023CVS charges $8.99 for a family size box of Cheerios
18 ounces. That is outrageously price gouging and about $4.00 higher than any other store. Most of the boxes on the shelf were damaged, they were either crushed or split down one side because the box was poorly glued.
