Be prepared! They will send you an e-mail blast for what you think is a great deal, only to find a better offer from them the next morning that they won't honor due to fine print. Quality of cards has deteriorated too. Lost a customer over $10 Date of experience: December 12, 2014
I bought a Groupon to use Cardstore.com. After taking a lot of time to make my card I checked out. Then they tried to charge me shipping ($12) even though my Groupon included free shipping and another $18 even though my Groupon paid for my cards in full. The customer service agent kept me on the phone for almost an hour but would not correct their mistake. Even their management was of no help. Horrible business. I do not recommend, there are too many other great sites to choose from. Go to Tiny Prints or Shutterfly. Date of experience: December 8, 2014
This site is NOT user friendly. After having a bad experience designing a Christmas card, I called the CS to let them know about my issue today (12/13/16), only to be talked to like trash, not like someone who just spent money on their website. The reps name was Chantal. Very nasty person who kept calling me by my first name after I asked her not to. Got into an argument with her and she hung up on me. Cardstore.com you need to replace any rep who treats your customers like trash. If you care to keep a customer that is. I will not buy with you again! Date of experience: December 14, 2016
Customer service is a JOKE! Can't place any orders by phone ( was told they would get fired if they took a credit card to straighten out my order) would not let me use a $75.00 prepaid Visa Card. When I sent a comment to Co my reply was order is resolved by customer service,(they told me they could not help me). I resolved my own problem and wont use them again, I have ordered in the past but it seems they don't care now. I even had one customer service person hang up on me, takes forever to get through to someone. Date of experience: December 18, 2014
I've been doing business with Cardstore, com for the last four years and I love it. I'm handicapped and it's difficult for me to shop for cards in a card or grocery store, where the cards are overpriced and cannot personalized! With Cardstore, I can add pictures, clip art and personalize the message. My friends and family love the cards and, instead of disposing the cards shortly after receiving them, they save them. Not only that, the cards are reasonably priced and are sent out for me! Who could ask for more?! Date of experience: August 10, 2018
I love cardstore! I've been buying my cards there for years, and I couldn't ask for better quality, prices, or customer service. And they usually throw in a little something extra too. :) I can't recommend them highly enough! Date of experience: February 6, 2015
Promotions are deceiving. In the end you will be paying more and you will only see this once you've submitted your credit card. Management is not helpful nor professional. I will not be buying from this company again. Date of experience: November 19, 2015
I ordered a Valentine's card on 2/9/19 and now 2/19/19 I am still waiting, I *******@ve been told I can submit again and it will be re-delivered. Not really the point now Valentine's celebrations have been spoiled. Very disappointing company. Date of experience: February 18, 2019
I tried for about half an hour to buy a card but without success. It was easy enough to design the card but as soon as I logged in, my card disappeared. I had saved my card several times under different names (from desperation) but could not retrieve the card. The website is obsessed with sending me back to the home page when I try to find the cards I had told it to save. I tried with two devices: a cell phone and a laptop. I finally managed to save something to my account using the cell phone but when I logged in using the laptop, it was no longer in my account. What a mess. And you have to wait for the weekend to be over before you get customer service or else you have to spend money to make an international phone call. There is no chance I will make that phone call. They have just lost a sale from someone who used to buy from them. Service Value Date of experience: October 31, 2015
I love Cardstore! I ordered a few cards with pictures and they came out great! I love the quality and that I can add a special touch with each card! I had some many options and everything has great prices! I will definitely be ordering all my holiday cards from here. Date of experience: January 26, 2015
I ordered christmas cards on dec 17th. A little late, yes, but the confirmation email said they would be delivered by the 21st. On the 24th I FINALLY got through to customer service and they agreed to refund $40 of the $90 charge. Most of the cards were finally received by friends and family 2 days after Christmas. I gave it over 2 weeks for the refund to show up on my billing statement. It never did so I called them and they assured me it was posted and I needed to call my credit card company. I gave it another week and called my card company just to be told I need a confirmation email in order to file a dispute. Unfortunately Cardstore never sent one. Have been on hold for over 20 mins now with Cardstore to see if they will send an email. Is this worth $40? No. I will NEVER order from this company again. If they are not going to give a refund why lie about it? They must think most people will not follow through. Date of experience: January 26, 2017
I have nothing but absolutely positive things to say about this company. I have been using them for all of my personalized cards for almost 6 years. I would love for you all to come back so I can continue my tradition! Date of experience: April 14, 2020
Ordered a card for my husbands birthday & did not arrive in time. The estimated date was on or before a day & it did not arrive. I called and they told me they were having a problem with the usps not scanning packages and I told them I was very upset and they told that was just and "estimated* date and to wait another day. Are you kidding me? Long story short. NEVER received my card and was completely disappointed and it took calling them 3 more times before they reshipped me out a free card still without expedited shipping and its been a week now and still no card so now its been over 2 weeks. They are not customer service friendly and will not be ordering from them again! Stay away! Date of experience: February 22, 2018
It used to be super easy to use Cardstore. You just uploaded a photo from your phone to make and send a card. Now, for no reason and without informing any customers, they took away support for the app. I spent 20 minutes today trying to upload a photo to the Website in order to customize a card. It didn't work. I don't know why this once-great idea for a business is now reduced to something that barely functions. Date of experience: December 6, 2019
I never used online services like this so I was kind of worried and guess what, it came TRUE! Cardstore stated they would ship 2 of my cards ON of BEFORE JULY 13. Today is July 14, about to be 3PM. The recipient will not even be there to receive that shipment anymore because they did not keep up with their promises. I emailed Cardstore asking about the status of the delivery. They responded but totally ignored by question and said that "WHEN I order next time, they will give it to me for fee." Unbelievable! They expect me to order from them again? Sending greeting cards are time sensitive. Whats the point of sending a card 2 days after the birthday is over? I am very unhappy. Now I need to ask for refund as I do not know where the delivery is! I am sure they will not even give me a refund. DISAPPOINTING... Date of experience: July 14, 2015
Tried to order from this site with their 30% off promotion on Holiday Cards. Site wouldn't take the promotion code. When I contacted customer service they indicated the card I had selected was a Christmas Card, not a Holiday Card. Last I checked, Christmas was a Holiday, but apparently not at this site. Go elsewhere before you spend a lot of time building your card on their relatively weak user interface. Date of experience: December 28, 2015
Not only does Cardstore take well over a week to even ship (that's if they "approve" your card), but their policies discriminate against shirtless pictures of men. I was designing a card for my fiancé and had a collage of accomplishments he has done over the course of the year. I got an email from Shyla telling me my order was canceled due to their polices which are discriminatory and censoring. I'm done with this ridiculous store and it's homophobic sister companies. Messed up our order then blamed us. We did everything online and it all went through so when no cards arrived we called and they basically said it was our fault and made not effort to resolve the order. Said a supervisor would call back but that never happened. Worst customer service ever. Date of experience: March 11, 2014
Awful experience on their website. I put in 39 recipient addresses on the order page. I proofed the 39 addresses and then they just disappeared and were not saved to my address book. Even though the little box was checked "save to address book?". As far as I can tell, it will not save to address book at all from that page, at least not for me. Their website is poorly designed. Wasted two hours of my life on it. Date of experience: November 15, 2012
Terrible customer service. Too bad, as product is good. I've ordered from them 3 - 4 times. First time (year ago) was good. Second time they send wrong size envelopes for cards. I emailed inquiry and got back boilerplate computerized response that they would respond in 1 business day. They never did, I had to call. At least problem resolved. This year I ordered holiday card - just a proof on 11/22. When no card received by 12/2 I emailed. Again, standard response that they would get back to me. Still no info by 12/6. I called three times today and got 3 different excuses/stories, with no promised shipment date. I give up and won't deal with them again. Date of experience: December 6, 2010
Horrible experience with double charging, late shipping direct to recipient (over 10 days to send a birthday card?), not including promised postage on orders, I could go on and on... Website is horrible and SLOW as well. Customer service is inconsistent and POOR overall. If you are looking for convenience or time savings, Cardstore.com is NOT your answer. STAY AWAY! Date of experience: January 8, 2012
Horrible customer service. Don't count on their 100% satisfaction guarantee. I was unhappy with the cards I ordered and only received generic responses from the company. The company does not make an effort to fix card problems and ignores their customers. Date of experience: December 14, 2012
I've been a loyal cardstore.com customer for a few years now. I don't know what happened recently. I ordered Holiday Cards on 12/24, hoping that the cards would be sent by New Year's Day. I assumed the cards were sent until family asked me why I did not send any cards this year. Anyway, I've called twice and email twice. I have not received a response from cardstore.com. However, the purchase amount was charged to my credit card immediately. I am going to the BBB next! Date of experience: January 11, 2011
I ordered my photo cards on Cyber Monday and already received them today (Thursday). For the price, I think the cards are a great deal. I paid a very inexpensive amount for cardstock. I had also made two other cards, one on Shutterfly and one on TinyPrints. By buying on cardstore.com, I saved $50 by not ordering on Shutterfly and $120 by not using TinyPrints. Is the quality as good? Probably not. But for what I paid, I'm very happy. If you are on a budget, go for this place. Well worthwhile and I will buy from them again. I placed an order in November for my holiday cards, and I got a great deal for the 15 cards I had to send out. They shipped the cards directly to my family and friends for free, so I did not have to go to the post office to get fancy holiday stamps. I had one sent to myself so I could see how they turned out. It may have been my computer, but the photos seemed darker when printed. Also, I did not care for the card stock they used. I much prefer the glossy photo cards that Walgreens has. Additionally, the stamp on the card was not very festive. A bull with a spear through it? Happy Holidays, I guess. The most disappointing part was that shortly after the cards were sent out, I received a solicitation in the mail. It was not addressed to me, but in fact, it was addressed to one of my family members. There is no way that the name and my address would have any correlation except from my order through cardstore.com. I will be doing some research, but I believe cardstore.com sells the information on your orders. If you want to use their free shipping service, be wary. They might sell your family and friend's information, too! Date of experience: November 23, 2012
