Can I give -stars Absolutely the WORST online shopping experience I've ever had! Products are deceiving. Buyer beware! There is NO customer service. Impossible to receive return labels for items that are returnable and they will not accept returns without their label. Want a headache, want to waste your time and money? Then you should definitely shop here! Extremely disappointed BTR! And im telling everyone!
Tip for consumers:You can not return. You can not have communication.

Date of experience: November 7, 2022I purchased a bottle of Nars foundation and what I received was disgusting filthy and very obviously used. Customer service was non existent, my three emails informing them of the issue were ignored so had no choice but to open a case with PayPal to request a refund. I will never deal with BTR again.

Date of experience: September 21, 2022From what was a great place to get discounted name brand merchandise to a company that tried to fulfill 20% of it's orders & couldn't, it's over. The days of deep discounts are long gone ( I always paid with PayPal & filed many a case to recoup money for items that didn't get delivered) It's now reduced to selling Amazon brands at elevated values and prices, ridiculous. It seems whoever is running it now figured they should benefit from the wholesale prices they get merch at instead of passing it along to consumers. Don't waste your time or one dollar on BTR, the old lady has sung!
Date of experience: October 23, 2020Purchased items which were wrong size, company is refusing to provide an exchange or store credit. BTR were contacted within 24 hours, product in original condition with tags, extremely dissatisfied with level if service. In order to protect future customer I will share my experience and esclate, however I'm still hopeful the company will do the right thing!

Date of experience: November 27, 2021Items ordered are now 100 days past due, I have had zero contact from the store and its nearly impossible to get in contact with them. Once you do its a live chat and all they offer is piss poor excuses, with fake new delivery dates. Dont buy from them!
Date of experience: July 1, 2020I ordered an XL men's sweat shirt received youth XL. Trying to get a return label for over a month. They first say it will come in 24 to 72 hours.
Live chat says they will look into, gives me the run around and then says not giving return labels because courier issues. Like couriers are preventing them from sending an email with a return label.
Date of experience: May 20, 2020On June 21st I ordered a bracelet from them, it's now August and I used their"live" chat to find out it was delayed at their overseas shipper so it will be a month before it even gets to them. What? Their "ive chat" is a joke, it took 10 minutes to get an agent and they quit responding after my second question. Don't order from them unless you don't care if you get the product, and don't mind paying for nothing.
Date of experience: August 4, 2020I order 3 pairs of sunglasses from them in early March. My credit card was immediately charged even though I didn't receive anything until more than a month later. Most stores I order from don't charge until your item ships. I got 2 pairs sent but now it is June 23 and I still haven't received the third pair. I have contacted customer support and receive a generic answer, no concern for my concerns, and no worries about keeping me as a customer. They are selling products that aren't even available. How long am I supposed to wait? It's now summer and I ordered the glasses in winter. I'm furious with their service and don't recommend anyone using their website.
Date of experience: June 23, 2020I had a credit of over 100$ in my account for a couple of months and recently i wanted to make a purchased, its gone they erased all my purchases and credit and when i call they say that my purchase was done in 2016 with the recent buyers but i do have proof that it was in 2019. They are frauds, be careful!

They deleted my order recently and on "chat" claim that website is under maintenance ( but it is not). I do not know what to do. HELP!
Date of experience: July 16, 2020I have orders that I had placed on May 21rst and since then no follow-up, nothing but poor excuses and lame reasoning on what is happening. I have dealt with Touch of Modern, GILT, and eBay when issues where arising, and these businesses are professional and resolved the problems. BTR does nothing but looks for excuses. Never buy from them
Date of experience: July 28, 2020I have purchased some items well over a month ago. Two have just now shipped, haven't rec'd one single thing! They also take their money out of your account as soon as the order is placed. Nobody else does this, you're not charged until it ships. I've learned the hard way, but no more.

I have wasted way too much time trying to get my $300 refund - they simply don't return my calls or emails. I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere - this place is sleazy.

Date of experience: February 6, 2014Absolutely terrible... I have given these guys too many chances. Wrong colors, order no where near that as described (order cotton get shipped poly), and lately inability to ship or provide customer service at even that of a fast food level. My order was "shipped" 3 weeks ago, but has yet to be given to Canada Post, with multiple calls to customer service and being laughed at during to today's call shows this company is nothing but a sub "Micky Mouse" organization. Most items are the exact available at your local Winners for the same cost, but without the shipping charge, which makes me believe they source the same supplier. With so many of the exact negative reviews around various websites, you guys need to get your s#$% together. Customer service is a joke, products are not as described (many laws to help consumers in this by the way)... Please do not respond with "we strive" BS... because you have never tried to fix these issue!
Date of experience: May 29, 2014I purchased the 4 piece 1000 TC cotton rich sheet set on sale for $39.95 and they are absolutely terrible quality. Within 3 days the bottom sheet was all pills. Didn't even make a first washing. I would strongly recommend not to purchase this product.

Products used:Nothing, fit watch was shipped with no charger so wasn't usable, customer service advised it was not a charger type watch, worked on battery. When provided the pics of the watch instructions referring to the charger, was advised to return product at my cost, When returned it was never credited back to my account, yet Canada Post confirmed it was signed for by BTR.

Date of experience: November 15, 2020I just want to caution everyone that the products sold by BTR are 'seconds', meaning there is something wrong with the quality preventing it from being sold properly. Everything is either damaged, mis-sized, or bad quality (punctured, torn frayed etc). Refunds are impossible to receive, even when they ship you an empty bag. Discount shipping frequently lost or delayed, and customer service is rude and ill-equipped to assist. Flush your money down the toilet -it will be more satisfying than shopping with this company
Date of experience: June 2, 2015I have ordered a lot of items from Beyond the Rack some were amazing deals and I would have loved to order more but by the time you receive the item the other ones you would like to order are no longer offered. I am a bit upset with them as I ordered something mid November with a delivery date Dec 10 through 12 (or possibly the 14) well it now shows shipped Dec 10 with Ontrac and Ontrac still doesn't show anything.? Really and here it has been 11 days already. Tried calling but after 8 minutes on hold I hang up. Also another item I ordered was to be delivered Sat. Showed Thursday it was only 50 minutes away now it's in a town 3 hours away. Go figure. I will not be using for Christmas gifts again. (Well I guess they have 3 more days but it's not looking good)
Date of experience: December 21, 2015I had been ordering from BTR for over 2 years, but honestly I have completely given up because time after time the clothes were cheap, made in china and all wrinkled or damaged, and always packaged poorly. Not to mention they sent the wrong colour for several items, another time i did not ever receive the item and then was told I would never be able to 'claim' that again on future orders, as if I stole my own package! They mark everything up so ridiculously high so the discount they offer looks like a deal, it's all lies. 95% of the products are cheap junk manufactured in China. Beware of this site.
Date of experience: May 26, 2014Overall, I'm happy with the clothing I order. Especially the Not Your Daughter Jeans, which are the most comfy jeans ever. They are twice the price at the Bay, so getting them@ $59.99 from BTR is a great deal. Cons, they take at least a month to deliver anything I've ordered (in Canada). The regular prices are usually extremely exaggerated. I just bought 2 items for $19.99 & $29.99. They state original prices@ $230.00 & $250.00 respectively and that "I saved $439.00". Come on! Even on the manufacturer's website (Rising International Clothing), the prices for same items are $50.00 & $60.00.

Duty free shopping for Canadians, great selection and awesome deals :) you have a year to return items if not used so there is no worries of being stuck with an item you hate. When you purchase items you get a shipping pass so if you want to add more items the next day they don't charge shipping again. Their customer service is great. I had a few questions and they answered me right away! Definitely worth checking out.

I have ordered several items in the past 5 months (mostly clothing and shoes) The prices are right, the quality of the clothing is usually even better than expected, the items arrive fairly quickly. I cant tell you much about the customer service, because I have never had to deal with them directly. I once tried to place an order and they must have been having technical difficulties with their website, because later that day I received a $10.00 credit and an apology via e-mail. Beyond The Rack gets an AAA+++ from me!
Date of experience: November 26, 2013I have ordered several items like sheets, duvet, dresses, decor, christmas stuff and been happy with all purchases since I started in shopping in November 2013. Even when the 3 necklaces that I ordered for my bridesmaids gift went out of stock, I am happy with products and service as I got my refund in a timely manner. Now I have to find new bridesmaid gifts but I'm sure I'll find something! :)
