Date of experience: November 24, 2024I placed an online order for a glass GE stovetop replacement part. I got the order confirmation and shortly after I got a phone call from a number not in my contacts so the phone didnt ring. Then I got an email saying the order needed to be verified and I had to call them or it would be canceled. That sounded extremely scammy to me. But I did call. I waited on hold behind 8 others. Once I got to the CS rep, I gave my name, order number, and then she wanted my address. Next she wanted me to give her the part number, and I lost it! Why have an online ordering system if you force customers to repeat the entire order over the phone? I was told it was randomly chosen by the system to prevent fraudulent orders. Seriously? I've never had to go through this with any online order from any company ever and I order everything online. The CS rep was more than happy to offer to cancel my order rather than stop the ridiculous treatment of a customer just trying to buy something from them. So now my order is canceled because I refuse to be randomly treated like a thief or have my time randomly wasted and disrespected to satisfy a random system request. It's not worth the hassle to buy from Appliance PartsPro. They don't want to make a sale without harrassing a customer.

I ordered a part from this company for my dryer. They claim: 2 Day Quick Delivery! 365 Day Return Policy! Free Tech Support! I returned the unused part in their own packaging and they refused to provide a refund! Apparently, there's some hidden small print in their return policy that if you open the box and touch the product, that item is no longer eligible for a refund. They claim that the part showed signs of installation such as scuff marks. I asked for the part to be sent back to me for inspection by other professionals, but they refused because they disposed of the part. I've never encountered with such a scam company as this one and advise all to stay away from their misleadings! Good luck trying to get a refund from them, you're not getting one.

Although it was on back order they stayed in touch and informed me when it shipped a few weeks later—turned out that I ordered the wrong part. My fault. I should have let them help me order it. Anyway, I emailed Matt at Customer Service and he helped me find the correct part and advised me on how to return the wrong part. I talked to Crystal in Customer Service and she sold me a return label for $12.25 that would have otherwise cost me around $90 to ship back. Needless to say, I was very happy with all the service I received. I highly recommend this company for your appliance parts needs. Thank you AppliancePartsPros.

I paid extra for expedited shipping. The shipping label was indeed printed on Friday morning. My item didn't ship until Monday. Not having a working dishwasher is frustrating. When you have seven kids and are hand washing dishes for five days, it is very frustrating.

Date of experience: June 29, 2022I purchased a gasket for my refrigerator door. It was over $130, plus shipping. When I put it on, it didn't hold the door closed (and it was so badly made it tore at places). I called support, and they sent out a new one plus emailed me a postage paid return label. The new one was just as bad - I made a video of how poorly it worked. It was unusable. I asked for refund. They gave me a full refund, including shipping, within one day.
No excuses, no delays. They didn't make the gasket, they just sold it. I will definitely buy future parts from them, if needed.
Tip for consumers:If there's a problem, definitely call or email them. They responded quickly.

The gentleman from your company Century Ave Mississauga was amazing I would recommend him anytime. He was great with seniors very knowledgeable, polite excellent advice on the repair and great price. Easy to do and saved me a ton of money as I didn't have to replace the entire ice dispenser assembly! I will definitely order again from Appliance Parts Pro!

My picture shows just how wrong their claim is! The part on the right came in an official looking bag with the correct part number on it - not even close to the right size! Steer clear of this company!

Brent A & Jason F with customer service handled a same-day reshipment before the damaged unit was even boxed up to be shipped back. I could not have asked for a quicker, simpler, or friendlier transaction. No need to look anywhere else for parts for your household appliances!

If you ever need a part don't use these clowns. Check Amazon for the part first or use a different supplier. 34.00 for a thermal fuse, same fuse on amazon 3 pack for 6.47 with two day delivery and no shipping charge. Never again!

When I returned the unit, they informed me that they would not be giving me a refund because it was installed. When the dryer timer was installed it caused my dryer to heat up when it was in the off position. I will never buy a product from here again.

Date of experience: December 20, 2023I ordered an element for my stove. I put in the model and serial number for my stove. They sent me the element. I opened it to realize that the element didn't even match my other elements. I put the element back in the box. I paid to send it back to them. Then today, I received an email and said that I will not be able to get a refund because the part had been installed. How could I installed the part when the element didn't even match. Now I am out $189 plus the shipping fee that I had to pay to ship it back. Beware, because I feel that they just ripped me off on something that there was NO possible way that I could have installed it. The wiring and everything didn't match!
Tip for consumers:Beware. If the part is not correct, they will not give you a refund. They will say that you installed the part.

Date of experience: November 22, 2022I needed a small timer knob for a 32-year old Whirlpool wall oven. This business actually had it, new and OEM. There was a full parts diagram for the oven so I could make sure it was the right part. Was shipped in under 24 hours after I placed the order. Shipping was kind of glacial - one week to go 270 miles, but that was more due to FedEx. Packaging was appropriate, and the part is now installed (no instructions were necessary). Positive all around.
One exception: shipping charge of $11 was high, given the slow shipping. So I knocked off a star. But I would probably buy from them again. I guess it does cost a lot to maintain a big inventory of obsolete parts.
Tip for consumers:Shipping was slow (one week in transit from central Illinois to central Wisconsin by FedEx economy, the business itself had shipped promptly); if you have a critical need for a part, consider paying extra for expedited shipping.

It is now wednesday, and one part still says "shipping label prepared". The other part went from louisville to indy overnite. (I live in tennessee.). That part went from indy to georgia. (I still live in Tennessee) now, I really don't know when if ever, i will receive these two parts, but I surely will order from a giant distributor that starts with an AM... next time. Free shipping and about a third the price. If you order from appliance pro, you had better pay for expedited delivery or suffer the consequences. Or..

It is now a week later and I still don't have any movement to the tracking number they gave me. They did say the problem was the holidays. However, it has been A WEEK! What kind of holiday go they get? Just checked again Jan 5,2021, 3:56 pm Pacific Time, same status, 'Label Created'.

Appliance Parts Pros gave me great guidance on what parts to get, ordered them up for me, and provided additional guidance through their U-Tube videos. Delivery was fast and the cam replacement went just as described, was quick and fairly easy. We saved a fortune by DIY-ing it!

I returned the part in perfect condition, same packaging, never used or even taken completely out of the box and I paid for shipping. After several weeks of waiting for my refund, they only credited me $25. Not what I call good customer service. Just be aware that their return policy is not user friendly.
Date of experience: August 28, 2020Ordered a new door hinge for my whirlpool refrigerator using the model number lookup tool the part was 22 and the shipping was 17 which is outrageous but the reviews suggested them over others I received the product and it was incorrect so I called customer service and requested an exchange not only can they not do an exchange their only remedy to this situation is for me to pay the shipping to have it sent back then start a whole new order and pay another exorbitant shipping fee to revive another more expensive part that "might work" and they can't compensate me for any of these shipping cost. All in all I estimate I'll pay a total of 51 dollars in shipping for a 26 dollar part.

Date of experience: April 13, 2022I ordered a replacement ice machine. The unit arrived this morning and was broken. It looks like there was a sloppy attempt to re-glue the break and the unit was dirty, smeared with some sort of lubricant on the ice tray.
I'm working on getting a refund and will update this post after I have experienced their customer service.
