We recently visited the Dreams Resort & Spa in Cabo San Lucas. We booked 3 excursions at the resort through Amstar. This was supposedly a deal where you pay for 2 and get the 3rd for free. We had 1 trip cancelled due to rough water, but were never told that it was cancelled. We waited in the lobby for over an hour only to find out it was cancelled. We were then told, we would not receive a refund. We were very upset at all the deception going through Amstar. We also discovered it would have been easier to book directly with the excursion which we could have done online ourselves. Our advice is to never use Amstar to book excursions while at a resort. There cancellation policy is terrible and you actually pay more for the trip. Date of experience: September 5, 2017
