This company promoted a buy one get one free sale, but when you put the items in your shopping cart, it did not apply the sale correctly. I sent them screen shots that I took at the time that I was trying to order. When I presented this to customer service, they said that was not the sale. The sale was for buy one get one 50% off. I went back to the website and took screen shots again because the "sale" was still being presented. Then, an hour later, they changed the sale to "buy one get one 50% off buy one get one free". Basically, the "marketing dept" was trying to cover their butts. I took screen shots of this and sent it to them. Still would not honor their sale, nor own up to their mistake. This seems to be a common occurrence, so be sure to check your carts pricing before checking out. Sad, I have been a customer for awhile, but no more. You get better prices going directly to the manufactures sites... I found that out after going through this.
I ordered on 3 items on 12/16 that cost a measly $40. DHL showed its hand off to USPS on 12/21 and USPS showed waiting to be scanned in to USPS facility. Waited a few days and it did not move. Contacted CS and was told to wait until 1/15/22 to see if it would appear. A few days later I found the same items on Amazon, regular prices at $2 more than the sale price I paid. Realized that if they really valued me they would have offered to reship the items rather than tell me to wait. So I asked for a refund and the response was "we filed a claim with the carrier, please sign the affidavit and we can either re-ship the items or refund you". Thier $40 was never at risk and they lost me as a customer forever over it. Shop at Amazon. Amazon may not value me as a customer, but they also don't tell you to wait a month for your in stock items to arrive when they know the package is lost, even the carriers do not show the package as received by them. Tip for consumers:Thier selection is what drew me to them and kept me buying from them. But this experience with their CS left me feeling like i was not valued. I found the same items on Amazon for cheaper and while they don't value me either they don't make you wait a month when they know the package is lost. Products used:None. The package was never received by USPS from DHL and FreshPair did not offer to reship until I asked for a refund. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
I ordered from Freshpair. They acknowledged my order right away. I was sent an email that the order is on the way a day later. I emailed Freshpair about their lousy reviews and got a response right away. They seem to be a good company. I think lousy reviews are from third party vendors with an axe to grind. We had ordered from FreshPair multiple times in the past as my husband preferred the Munsingwear briefs they sell. They were trouble free transactions for the most part, though like other online vendors they tend to aggressively send e-mail marketing when we had repeatedly asked them not to send it (always frustrating). In recent years we'd noticed that the Munsingwear briefs had changed in quality. Apparently the company had been acquired or sold and the thickness of the fabric and the dimensions of the materials changed to a cheaper quality. But after several years of not being able to find another brand he preferred, my husband started doing a bit more research. He discovered some reviews that indicated that the Munsingwear briefs sourced from India were more like the old briefs, as opposed to the China-sourced briefs. However, in going through the reviews, which seemed to go back and forth, it as difficult to determine if this was true. And as underwear cannot be returned once the package is opened, we didn't want to dive in for an order only to be stuck with more of the inferior product. In going through the reviews we discovered something more disturbing: many, many of the reviews seem to be fake or review shills. Many of them are only a couple of lines, seem to be written in the same voice, and hit marketing points with an unexpected enthusiasm. This is not the way consumers write reviews, even brief ones. This just feels super shady and removes any confidence we may have had in going back to this online vendor. Customers aren't stupid. That online sites like this would allow this thing on their site (either not policing it or actively promoting it) seems fraudulent. This more than anything will prevent our household from ordering from FreshPair ever again.
I ordered one item from them for $30 a little over a year ago, and I never got it. I kept getting emails saying it was on back order and when I called they said "you can either wait out the back order or have the other color instead." So I asked for other color, and they said "okay, well that one is on back order too." Terrible communication, and I feel like hey just stole from me, so I gave up on trying to get it. I just lost $30 to them.
The worst online buying experience I have EVER, and I have shopped online for just about everything I own. I ordered a single bra in my size and selected the "US" sizing option and paid. A couple of weeks later, I received my bra in UK sizing. Here's the response from customer service... "Our team will be glad to provide you with the prepaid return label so that the item can be returned to us without any cost. If this is something that will work for you, it will be great if you can share an image of the item, although, it will still work if this will be not available; this is just so we can show to the manufacturer and avoid this from happening again." Soooo... I sent them a picture to help them figure out what happened... AND... "You may change the sizing option on the item page, to accurately choose the correct sizing, but it shall be delivered to UK sizing." And no return label was sent. I have NEVER experienced this kind of poor customer service from ANY online retailer. Especially when buying lingerie, you should not have options for people to change things (US sizing), when it's not even an option to begin with. Then, send the incorrect UK size, and expect the customer to be responsible to pay for the return shipping. It doesn't make any sense, and it's a horrible business practice.
Fresh Pair has chic, high end French lingerie as well as some of the up scale domestic lines. They carry some of the top men's lines too. They offer expert advice for how undergarments should fit which is much appreciated. And free shipping on all orders.
My order remains "unfulfilled" 11 days after I placed it, although my credit card was charged immediately. I e-mailed customer service with instructions to cancel my order. I was advised that orders are filled "immediately" by the "warehouse" and cannot be cancelled. You do not want to shop here.
Lack of proactive communication about the status of my order. I had to continually query the status after each of the many times the delivery was delayed. Lack of complete fulfillment of more than one order over the past year. The emails suggesting that I order other colors and sizes of an item that never came into stock in any color or size and finally with the cancellation of the latest order came a 10% discount on a future order I will_never_ place is no help for the customer dissatisfaction this has caused. Tip for consumers:Don't, just don't. All of the good reviews are 5 stars, most of the the rest are 1 stars. Service Shipping
Ordered over 9 days ago. No confirmation email. When I called one item out of stock and I paid for fast shipping. So the other item hadn't even been shipped yet and then I got the money back for fast shipping but in total it will be over 2 weeks or longer to get 2 bras and still have not gotten an email from them.
The last two times that I have placed a order with Freshpair on Calvin Klein trucks I was able to place a order from the website; however, I called customer service and they told me that they were out of stock. Their website should indicate that they are currently out of stock on a particular item rather allowing the customer to think the item is in stock. The customer service is terrible and they don't offer any alternatives for their mistakes. Please stay from this company. Products used:No. I asked for a refund.
