    Anthro used to be a go-to but I will avoid them from now on. Ordered a jumpsuit on 9-21. Didn't ship til 9-27. STILL in transit today, 10-5 and no delivery date provided. They use a really crummy shipping company and this is not the first time I have waited a month. More than that though, the product quality is NOT worth the price. Price point is way too high for such crummy clothes- poor fit and design and cheap fabrics. Just avoid Anthro now they really suck
    I have ordered item from them on 7/12. The product page stated that it would be delivered within 3-5 days. After about 4-5 days I have recevied email that order was shipped with the tracking number provided. Not quick turnaround but ok, everyone are busy now during peak season. After another 2 days I have checked tracking and I found the parcel has not even been picked by the carrier, so I decided to contact them then. For my first contact email which was my reply to their order confirmation (so all order details were included), they have replied after about 3-4 days that I have not provided order number in my message so they are not able to find my order, so I have replied to them with my order number which was included anyway in my first message. Then after another few days of waiting they have replied that my order is delayed. Wow! Thanks for telling me that as otherwise I wouldn't be aware of this! They have said it will take another few days to investigate. Today is 19/12 and order is still not delivered. I have contacted their support several times and they only reply with few days delay plus their replies are a good joke. I really regret ordering with them. The product I ordered was a Christmas present which is unlikely to be delivered before Christmas, so will seek for full refund which will cause me wasting even more time fighting with them for a refund now.
    I have been shopping at anthropology and urban outfitters since I was a teenager. I love it! This all started when I kept receiving wrong items and I was pissed off being told that I had to go to the post office and send them back because its not my problem! And its as if they dont make enough money? Like isnt it considered a gift on behalf of their mistakes? So that took time out of my day. Then they put my account on hold which I have read nowhere in their policy all because they couldn't locate the returned wrong items they sent to me. I called multiple times and I was treated like I am a criminal. They were blatantly rude to me when I was nothing but nice even offering to pay for the wrong items that they sent to me.     I cancelled an online order within one minute of making it, and two days later I still do not have my money back. When I call customer service they say that its my cc bank's fault. I called my cc bank and they said it is not their fault that Anthropologie could of course give me the refund immediately. They still have my money even though I cancelled the order two days ago. Please do not shop here, they have terrible customer service and do not care about your money or your experience. I am going to have to dispute the charge to get my money back.     I still like the store but... make sure you like their shoes because if you ship them back it will take 3 weeks for them to receive them and an additional week for them to processyour return... I find this unacceptable... Their clothes are not the quality they used to be :}
    I wrote a review in their website but they don't want it to appear on there apparently as a week later it hasn't been uploaded! Poor quality table received with spilt wood on the table top and poor join on the circular base. Also paid £59 for delivery to room, to be unpackaged and no assembly required and was left with the table top in the box in the hallway and base boxed in the garage. When I contacted them they said their website was wrong… 6 weeks later and it still advertises the same. Not the service or product I expected - think twice before ordering from Anthropologie
    I purchased these corduroy pants last season and only worn them a few times and look what has happened with the button holes….poor quality and made in china.     Ordered the fern bath cabinet from Anthropologie paid $498. Took four months to get here both Glass panels were broken anthropology said the max credit they could give me was 30%. This did not cover the cost of replacing the glass. Glass company told me Anthropologie uses the cheapest glass possible. Do not buy this cabinet unless you're willing to pay almost $700 for it Tip for consumers:Don’t buy online from Anthropologie.     I am so sad because anthropologie was my absolute favorite store growing up and even worked there as I got older in my 20s. It was always so beautiful and artistic and the peices were so unique and high quality making me feel OK about the high price point. In the past couple of years the store has turned into forever 21 in my opion but with the same high anthro price point. It has loud obnoxious music, cheap clothing and home decor, and the window displays are nothing like they used to be. The magic of anthropologie is gone. Even the website is terrible. None of the photos match in aesthetic and it's honestly just a mess. Also it seems like there are 100s of new items posted on their website every day and then go to sale in couple weeks. It makes the items feel disposable and not special at all. It is overwhelming the amount of $#*!ty items they have brought in. Id rather have less items put out every year thaat are high quality and beautiful than all of this. I stopped going in the store a couple years ago because it just got worse and worse. I know I can't be alone in feeling this way so I wanted to share my thoughts to connect with others who may feel the same. I am heartbroken my favorite store is gone.     Terrible service. They took my item and destroyed it that got sent to them on accident. Worth £40 and wouldn't compensate me. The worst customer service.
    Anthropologie has the absolute WORST CS of any Store I have EVER called in my life! Absolutely HORRENDOUS! ANNNND there is no higher Dept you can call when this HORRIBLE, so called, CS fails You! I don't expect everywhere to be as good as Nordstrom, but this is worse than the Dollar Tree! It's enough to make you NOT shop ANTRO, or FP! How do they stay in business with this % kind of CS!
    I ordered earrings online as a gift at Christmas. They came in broken and when I attempted to return them in the store was told not to, and I would have to use an envelope being sent to me... Envelope never appeared, I tried calling in 2 times to follow up but after being on hold for over 30-1 hour gave up both times. Recently placed an online order for a dress and it came back canceled. I thought I hit the button wrong so I re-ordered it. Went to follow up to see when it would arrive and saw it too was canceled. After 2 phone calls, (both waiting for over 20 minutes to talk to someone) found out that because I had never returned the earrings my account had a hold on it. One that I had never been communicated about despite my best attempts at making it right. Also found out that because it was after 4 pm there was no way to receive my dress in time for the event I was planning on it for. I live in a rural mountain area and have no way other than online ordering to get nicer things. The way that Anthropologie set up their online ordering operationally, sets them and their customers up for failure. Products used:None because they would not sell because of an error.     I've been trying to purchase 2 items from a bridal registry that links to Anthropologie. I won't bother describing the inefficient selection process, but every time I put through a purchase, about an hour later I get an email saying the order has been cancelled. After 4 to 5 times of trying different ways to find and fix the problem, I finally called them. The very nice representative told me Anthropologie cancelled the order because they needed more information to create an account for me. I don't want or need an account, just to make this purchase! But they say an account is necessary and the ONLY remedy is to wait for 72 business hours while they look at what information is still required to create the account. Meanwhile, they won't hold the items I'm trying to purchase while they do this. What utter crap! Why doesn't their website request this essential information? Why don't they send an email asking for this information? I asked these questions, and was told they were waiting for me to contact them! How do you spell ineffective? Anthropologie. Trying to be helpful, they suggested I find a friend with an account who could order the items for me. Ha! I am going to give cash to the bridal couple and screw you Anthropologie!     Anthropologie charged me 4x for an order on backlog that was eventually cancelled (only because I spotted it before Anthropologie charged me anymore!). 2 months later I STILL haven't received a refund. I've contacted the support team 5 times about this issue, each time with new promises made but nothing followed through. Horrific customer service. Give me back my money. Clearly no understanding of the damage caused to customers with issues like this. I hope someone senior sees this. I am furious. Tip for consumers:Good luck with their customer service Service
    I ordered a large mirror (Aperture) that arrived broken and when I reached out to customer service via email I never got a response so I called them and spoke to Misty. I told her that before I even could take the mirror out of the shrinkwrap I could tell it was broken by the rattling of pieces inside. When I explained the situation that I received a large broken mirror, she never apologized and then suggested that I open up the box completely and take a picture to send to them as proof and told me to dispose of the mirror myself since UPS would not pick up a broken mirror. Now, explain to me how I'm suppose to open up a box of sharp mirror pieces in my home and somehow put it all back in the same box and dispose this myself when UPS wouldn't dare handle it. I should also mention that this box is about 50 lbs and is 48x48 inches which took two people to carry into my home. We agreed I would send a video of me shaking the box demonstrating the broken pieces but disposable of this mirror is still my responsibility. Unbelievable. I love their clothes and their furniture designs have upleveled quite a bit but their customer service is pretty awful. Would not consider buying from them again.
    I love their branding and i love shopping in their stores. I think the shopping experience on their website could still be improved. I recently bought a bib necklace from them. Although it is kind of expensive, but totally worth it. I love their beddings collection as well.
    First I will say that I have shopped Anthropologie for years, and I truly find their items trendy. However, with that said, I feel that their sales tactics are extremely unethical. I have had several instances of this, the latest being: I purchased 3 items totaling $110.00 on sale. I actually hesitated because I have had them lower pricing more than once per sale. In this particular instance, the 3 items had just shipped, and I viewed them in tracking, only to notice these 3 items were marked down again by 25%. Which was a $30+ savings. I called because the items JUST went out that day, and I asked them to credit the monies. They indicated they would, but then, I got a note the next morning from their customer service dept, saying they would not honor the agents promise, because their new policy was NOT to credit sale items. So, I said, "are you really going to make me send back the items, and reorder them today at the discounted price? Just so I can get the lowest pricing?". The answer was a resounding YES. I said, but that doesn't make sense. You would rather take back these 3 items, unpack them, restock them, and re log them into your system, and then pick, pack and ship the exact 3 items, regardless of the added expense on your part? Again, the answer was YES. Not only did I find this incredibly argumentative, rude, and combative, but, they were basically saying - "sure, go for it, it's your problem". I guess they figure I won't return the items out of principal. But, I will. At this point, it wasn't about the monies, it was about their unethical philosophy. I asked how many calls like this they received. The supervisor I insisted on talking too, said they have forwarded 1000's of these complaints to corporate, but they were standing behind the new policy. So, this is the deal. Anthropologie puts something on sale once, twice, or three times, whatever it takes to get the product moved. They know that people caught on, hence the change in policy. I simply asked - why don't you just put it on sale once, and be done with it, already knowing the answer. They want to get every sucker they possibly can to purchase as high as they can before doing a rock-bottom price. From a business perspective it may make sense. But, as a once loyal customer, they just lost me and a couple of my friends. And, I have a blog that I am writing this up on as well. So, a word of warning. If you are going to purchase on Anthro, and you don't care about the fact that you will most likely pay higher than you need too, than go for it. But, to be treated poorly because I was on to them, was just bad customer service. I give them a 1 in that area. K. Summers

    I placed an order in November for 2 Claudia Petite Swivel chairs and they arrived on March 10th both damaged. The delivery company let us keep them as loaners and today the new chairs arrived and one of them was damaged again in the same part that the other two were (bottom part of the chair). I ask you how many more rounds of deliveries do we have to receive until Anthropologie can deliver a quality piece of furniture? When I called Anthropologie to find out if these chairs go through quality check before they leave the warehouse the representative told me that she will need to put a special request in for me for this to occur. The team needs to investigate if it's coming from Anthropologie or delivery company. How is this possible that as a company Anthropologie does not quality check their furniture prior to shipping it out, especially for custom made furniture? She said this will take 3-5 business days. Additionally, why is it my responsibility as a customer to flag this for your company to ensure your processes are working accurately? This is completely unethical that you as a company charge upward of 1K per chair and promote quality? I have called multiple times and spoken to various representatives no one can provide support. I am writing this email in order for it to reach someone in management at Anthropologie and I sincerely hope that someone gets back to me to resolve this issue. I have been a loyal customer to Anthropologie since 2011 but will need to seriously reassess this moving forward if someone does not reach out to come to an amicable solution soon.     Gave Anthropologie another shot after banning buying from them for years. Much to my shock, they are not better but worse. Called kiting funds when the Co. Uses the $$ for 7days when Co's that are fluid process returns 1-2 days. Had to call, call my bank to get $291.21 returned. Horrid Customer Service, they should close their stores in the US & stay in UK. Overpriced, understaffed & everyone should read reviews & ban shopping with this Co. We the buyer are being duped if we ever step foot in a store. Lesson re-learned. I will spread the word once again. Tip for consumers:That they are the same horrid Co.     We ordered a few things from this store and were very dissapointed with their online customer service. They put you on hold for so long you even forget what you wanted to purchase and once they answer they start to promote the product that you don`t really want. Two stars! This is surely what they deserve
    I had a bad experience with an expensive candle I purchased that cracked by itself while burning (it wasn't dropped or banged into, it simply broke). I had only burned it a handful of times. I emailed customer support to see what they could do and to let them know of a faulty product and every reply was sent by a different agent, each one asking for photos, receipts, order numbers etc etc etc. and finally they said they couldn't help me bc it was an in store purchase and I have to bring the item into the store to do anything about it! Why not say that in the first place?! I'm not going to bother since it's dangerous to carry a sharp piece of broken glass around but after this experience, they lost a customer forever bc I hold grudges!     Beware when you order on line! My daughter ordered shoes (that are available online only) and was told the package would take 2 weeks to arrive. When the package arrived, despite the order form indicating the size she ordered, the actual shoes and the box were 1/2 size too small. Customer service indicated to me that in order to ensure that the same issue doesn't happen again, they would have to tack on an additional 3 business days to the process to make sure that the shoes inside the package are the correct size before it gets mailed back out to her again. If I waived that option, it is likely that the same problem could happen again. Seriously? Do they not have any quality control as part of their standard protocol? There was NO apology for the mistake. I can't believe a large company such as this does not have better quality measures in place to begin with. Too bad these shoes are super cute, otherwise we would have returned them and been done with it.

    I ordered two dishes from Anthropologie to be delivered to NZ. The cost was high, especially given the exchange rate and shipping to NZ. One bowl arrived broken. I took photos and sent a friendly polite email with the photos. No response. I followed up. No response. I followed up again. Still no response. Would not recommend or ever buy from again. If I could leave a ZERO I would.
