Date of experience: January 7, 2023Do not buy from Woot. I bought an iPhone XR from them and I am unable to use it says phone is lost or stolen when trying to add to my phone account. There is no number to call customer service only email and after emailing they sent me a general email saying to file a claim with UPS when Woot is the company that sent me the unusable iPhone. I am unable to get a refund or return item so now I have a paper weight.I will never buy again total scam

Date of experience: June 22, 2024I have bought several things - look good but you have to be careful with size and sometimes - do not go by the pictures - perhaps the vendor is selling you something that is not complete - and then you stuck - they may give you a 5 discount and you have to eat the balance - through it on the garbage - happened to me - no communication - with customer service - no customer rapport just the Interface - will shop buying from them -i only got the stem not the lamp or the cable - the nock 5 - now is in the gargage - good luch woot!

I placed an online order of two 10-pack Nespresso capsules on Woot.com. Then I received a well-sealed package that only contained 6 packs of capsules. So far, after 2 rounds of communications with Woot customer service via long emails, my refund request is still rejected. Now, Woot asked me to file a claim with the carrier. But the package was well-sealed, and I cannot file a fraudulent claim against the carrier. Based on my experience, Woot doesn't do business on an honest basis. They didn't provide the correct quantity of products to customers, and they didn't give money back to customers either, but they tried to shift the cost to carriers.
Don't make any purchases with this merchant!

When items have arrived in unexpected shape, they have responded within a day and made it right. Meanwhile, I have a new rowing machine, weight bench, stationary bike, and a few other things I am thrilled to have, and I spent a LOT less than I would have elsewhere.

I bought a heater recently and it came as scheduled but the box was destroyed and the heater did not work. Now came the problem. Have to contact customer service via email and obviously they do not reside in the US. I have been trying to work with them for over a month and keep getting the same canned response. For being an Amazon owned company they didn't get the customer service culture that Amazon has. To be transparent, this is the first time I've had to deal with their customer service in all the years of buying from them. I will probably not continue with them in the future because of their sorry service.
Tip for consumers:Don’t expect anything from customer support.

I like that. I took them to our local organization, took a photo of the bag being handed to them, and then sent it to Woot

I have reached out to Woot 3 different times and not once have my emails been answered or my request for them to call me through Amazon been returned. This was a fairly (for me) expensive item. No one else sells this missing part. I have looked everywhere. The vacuum is not usable without it so I am out the money and have a useless hunk of metal in my living room. I will not purchase from Woot again.

Date of experience: November 5, 2023Just an update. After i sent a bad review they emailed me to apologize for taking so long to respond to me and sent me a refund on my purchase, no return necessary as a courtesy. So im satisfied with the outcome as of now. Im glad they did the right thing!
Date of experience: December 18, 2023I emailed them almost a week ago, looking to return an order that i received on 11/27 supposed to 30 days return windo, and it says time window to return expired! Customer service will not respond to requests and they have no phone number you can only go thru written correspondance to customer service which is absurd. I thought since they were an amazon company there would be no risk in ordering from them i was WRONG and wont be ordering anything again since they dont stand by what they sell and dont even respond to you where there is an issue.

“Bad customer support”

Actually no customer support... I got a clipper that doesn't work properly, I was trying to get a customer support. Tried to call, to send email, have them call me back, but nothing. There is nobody on the other side.
Date of experience: July 25, 2023I bought a phone off of Woot. It was supposed to be carrier unlocked but it was not. I purchased the phone as a backup in case something happened to my phone in use. When I received it I checked it for functionality and all was good, so I never thought anything of it, then when I needed it I took it to get in use and was told that it was carrier locked. 30 day warranty expired, so now I am out purchase price. BEWARE...SCAMMERS!
Date of experience: August 13, 2023I bought a Netgear mesh system but found after I attempted to use it, it wasn't compatible with bridge applications that are required by some ISP routers. There wasn't enough information to indicate this on the description but, to be fair, the only place I have found this information was when I selected "Having Problems" or something to that effect during set up. Now, because it isn't defective or missing parts or damaged I can't send it back. This is my last purchase on Woot.

Date of experience: October 28, 2023I haven't had terrible problems with actual purchases, but I have been wary of Woot. I found them selling extremely old and pretty useless Chromebooks on their site way past their expiration dates. More recently, I found that they have a much more restricted return policy than Amazon itself, and also charge postage for returns. Can't say I lost much money with them. Just a few bucks. Nothing more. But I have decided to block Woot and ignore them. Given their return policy and their propensity to dump crud products, it really just takes too many brain cells to figure out if a purchase is a good idea or not.
I wouldn't give them 2 stars except that their brand piggybacks on Amazon, and I think that is somewhat stealthy, bordering on deceptive... despite all the cute monkies.

Date of experience: February 29, 2012Have had a few positive experiences. The latest purchase was terrible and convinced me to not use this site, after being a regular customer for many years. Received an order with a popular name brand, several items HAD NO TAGS. Used items? These were to be given as gits and are now useless. One item was clearly a child's size, and I only ordered adult items (the only option actually). Tried to resolve. Response was "no returns". Crap shoot. Not my thing anymore.
Date of experience: May 6, 2016I used to love Woot, and have certainly bought a lot of things there, but recently I've noticed items with minor discounts compared to retail, often less than the $5.00 shipping fee (like the bird feeder I almost bought today).
Still some good bargains, but pay attention!

Sure enough Amazon Payments has charged me but Woot says they don't know the purchase even after I sent the AP email confirming the charge. Prices are good but systems and service are well below average. I'm done with Woot.
