Same experience as many other reviews. The print quality is terrible compared to how it used to be. In the photo, the shirt on the left was ordered in 2012, and the print is barely faded. The shirt on the right was ordered in January 2021, and has obviously deteriorated, even though it's only ever been washed on 20 degrees. The same goes for all the other shirts from that order. Whenever we wash them now all the clothes in the machine are covered with print particles. Won't be ordering from Threadless again. I ordered an item on 7/16. It is now 11/5 and I haven't received it. I asked for a refund several times but the owner had decided to take my money and not send anything. As of today he is saying he may ship it out(?) This company is a joke! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, BUYER BEWARE! They will just take your money and run. They don't care about customers! If you click the Distribution + Online Exclusivity upgrade button then you enter into an exclusive contract with Threadless. If you want out you have to email them. Then somebody may respond and tell you when your contract is up. I confirmed through email that I do not want to be a part of any exclusive program with Threadless. They confirmed that they would "make that note on the contract so it doesn't renew. It should be active and reflected in your account until it lapses in September of this year." BUT they renewed it anyway. I suggest you not get involved with this company. I have regretted working with them too many times now. I feel like they have been rude to me as I try to navigate working with them. They have also been careless, unorganized, unprofessional, and the product quality has gone down. No reason to take a risk and enter an exclusive "contract" with this print on demand site. I wish there was more info online about how difficult Threadless is to work with. This fabric is so cheap and shear that I cannot wear the shirt without another shirt underneath or it will be immodest. I paid $51.99 including shipping for a shirt which cost around 40 cents to make. This company is going to be out of business soon if they do not improve the quality of their products. I will personally never give Threadless one more cent of my money. Products used:Refund link is dead. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
Designed a t shirt, simple logo format, 4 colors. The colors bled into each other at the edges, looking horrible! How can that even happen with current technology? They told me it was my fault and would not take the blame! Took the design to printify and it came out PERFECT with the exact same file! Do not use this $#*!ty web site and company! Tip for consumers:Best tip- Don’t use it! Products used:None from them Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
I opened a store to offer merch for my music. I ordered a sample of each of the products I intended to offer, before making the store public, which cost me $238. I have found that most of them, across the different categories, look cheap. The digital printing is always blurry (much less definition than in the original images). The supposedly white background of some products looks more like cream than white. The notepad was packaged with a 90° angle bend because they didn't want to use a larger box. The pillows have knots in the fabric and even light brownish stains. A friend of mine ordered a zip pouch and came up with the same opinion. The website may look nice enough, but the products they actually deliver are far from making the cut and would damage any artist's reputation. I will have to go somewhere else.
I ordered a Men's 2X black Nakatomi Plaza Christmas Party Survivor shirt to wear to a Christmas party I am attending tomorrow. Normally, I would order a XL, but some brands run small, which is fine. The shirt arrived today. It is a women's medium yellow shirt, and the print looks like someone took a fuzzy gif and enlarged it to fit the shirt…making it horribly pixelated. This isn't something I would allow even my daughter to wear. I have emailed, sent FB Messenger messages, and tried to call. The phone line was busy no matter the time I called.
Love the designs found on Threadless, and when my second order arrived (on time, I must add), I found the sizing not to be what I wanted (I reduced from a XL to a L). Customer service got back to me within 24 hours and helped me make the correction without cost to me. Very helpful, and the designs are fantastic! Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
Received my shirts, and I am appalled at the quality. It's been a few years since I purchased from threadless, and I will not again. The quality is garbage. All four shirts I purchased have extremely low quality prints on them, and 2 of the 4 shirts are laughably crooked. I paid nearly $100 for 4 shirts and patiently waited 3 weeks... I couldn't be more disappointed.
I feel like this shouldn't be a something hard to understand but I just recently bought two hoodies and now it is the 6th and I am still waiting for order. What they really need to think is docking an artists pay just because they used their account because their husband doesn't know how to use the internet is completely unfair unless I am going to be refunded for making such a mistake because keeping the 77 dollars in their pocket and not paying us artists fairly is what is messed up. I will be leaving the Threadless platform once I am properly refunded and do my business elsewhere. Tip for consumers:Be careful using this site because customer support has unprofessional emails as in you can sense the attitude in the tone when asking a question which they keep super vague. If you are also a sbo I more recommend a different website. Products used:I haven't received any of the products bought. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

It should not take 2, 3, 4+ weeks to ship from FL to the Midwest. If you're charging you're customers for shipping, you should get the product in their hand no more than 4-5 days after the print has been made. I've dealt with much smaller made to order clothing stores that are able to turn an order around in 1 week flat. Till your shipping improves or it's free, I won't order from y'all again. Shipping this slow is bad business. Tip for consumers:Don't, quality and shipping is terrible. Service Value Shipping Quality
Our family has been shopping Threadless shirts for maybe 6 years now, we've purchased many t-shirts and they've all been great. Our kids are sad when they outgrow the shirts, but they've all been in good enough condition to pass along. Recently we miscalculated on sizing for a t-shirt and the customer service far surpassed our expectations in providing a replacement. We love that the company supports individual artists, and prints on demand. We will continue to order for ourselves, and to give as gifts.
Ordered 2 pants and 3 t-shirts on May 13th. Now it is June 10th. And I have received only 1 pair of pants and 1 t-shirt. Customer service does not answer. And now am leaving the address where the order was supposed to be shipped. So I will never receive the products, even if by some miracle they arrive. Will customer service ever answer? Will I get reimbursed? To be continued but right now my advice is STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Very low quality. Designer's image was lovely but the transfer was sub par. I followed the directions and the transfer started peeling significantly after the second wash. No option to review on the threadless website.
I've been a Threadless customer for over ten years. I have noticed a significant drop in quality for their shirts. The design begins to peel and crack within a year of purchase. And it's a shame when I compare those shirts to ones I bought 10 years ago that are still holding up and look better. Tip for consumers:They don't do refunds. They'll just send you another shirt. I contacted Threadless about this problem, and they were very happy to send us new shirts. From now on I will make sure to wash them according to the instructions. Maybe the orange shirt was washed in cold all these years which could explain why it held up so much better. Honestly, I can't say for sure. But I was very pleased that Threadless did what they could to make it right!
Threadless used to be my go to place to buy t-shirts. My kids have shirts from many years ago that still look beautiful. I was hoping to put them in a quilt one day, but the recent ones look just horrible. (The orange shirt below is YEARS old, the green one, very recent. Apologies for the orientation... for some reason the page would not allow me to rotate them.) They are printed with some kind of plastic material that starts to peel away after just a few washes. Can't believe they'd let this happen. So sad---no more Threadless for us. loadjsReady({ event: 'app', checker: function() { return typeof app === "undefined" || typeof app.profilePicture === "undefined"; }, callback: function() { app.profilePicture('undefined', 'undefined'); } }) Michelle M. 1 review 2 helpful votes Follow Michelle M. No integrity for deadlines.” December 22nd, 2022 Verified purchase I ordered a hoodie through Artist Shops for one of my customers and it's not going to make it in time for Christmas. I ordered it 10 days before the shipping cut off date and its going to take 12 days to ship when it should have taken 2 to 5. That makes this order 18 days late. That is unacceptable. I am a new business that is trying to build a customer base. When they don't follow through with deadlines it affects my integrity as a business owner. Not only have they lied to me, they make me lie to my customers. They have also put my own lively hood at stake because I rely on income to be generated from this product. I lost money on this transaction. I reached out to customer service and it took them two days to get back to me. Then they said it was coming by Dec 28th! I responded to them very upset that this product will not arrive on time and they never responded back or apologized for it being late. Threadless should be ashamed offering this faulty product to business customers. Do better. Tip for consumers:If you own a business don't use their artist shops. You can't trust their deadlines. I've purchased a lot of tees just in the past several months, when their tees were on sale. The tee shirts are very nice quality but one large order never arrived. I contacted customer service via email. Took 4 days to hear back from them. My lost order was being shipped out... with a different tracking number. I wonder what would've happened had I not contacted them. Still wondering what happened to that original bunch with a different tracking number! Other orders shipped out as normal. I still think, since I have to pay shipping, that they should arrive much sooner than they do especially when company is in Florida & I live in Virginia
I've ordered 5 tshirts in the highest quality offered from Threadless's store. I paid extra for a quicker shipping, but I get surprised with long delays, which later after contacting them, it turned out they have used the slower shipping method because they didn't pay attention. They refunded my extra charges. At first glance, the shirts looked amazing, I wore them right away, but after only one or two washes, I was shocked by the results. The designs fade and peel off, they made a mess in my washing machine and left debree on my other clothes. After complaining, they automatically sent me a replacement (Without asking me first), but then I had to pay for shipping and taxes in cash upon receipt. Anyhow. New replacement shirt, same story. Look at the pictures and see for yourself.
So I order 2 masks on May 3rd 2020 Today is July 9th 2020 and they just arrived. I the meantime I have had to buy others because they ones they give out at work make my face inch. They masks that arrived cost me 35 canadian (about 50 American) and they are small and have no nose clip at all! I would not order again very disappointed customer!
Trying to stay away from the dreaded Big A so I ordered $300 of Christmas gifts from Merriam-Webster website (supplied by Threadless.) Submitted order (and paid) on December 12. One shipment arrived on December 20, the second on December 24, and the third won't arrive until January 3, or 22 days after the order was placed (and, needless to say, well after Christmas.) Tracking updates (shipped w/DHL) were completely useless, such as "we don't have any information to give you." Threadless customer service was chirpy and inane, "hang in there, it'll be shipped soon!", again completely useless. The products that have arrived have no consistent quality control whatsoever: a ladies small is the same as a ladies medium is the same as a child's large tee shirt; the hoodie had obviously already been washed and shrunk, leaving unremoveable sticker glue all over the fabric; the tote bags aren't cloth but are some kind of plastic-feeling "unwoven fabric". The mugs aren't here yet (those friends got a Christmas IOU) so who knows? Expectations are not high. So much for trying to avoid Amazon. Guess I'll have to keep looking for independent vendors because I will never order from Threadless again. Update: Contacted by Threadless customer service, who tell me I need to send them PHOTOS of the problematic items before they'll "make it right." Wow, talk about adding insult to injury. And their response to the slow and erratic shipping? "We've experienced delays due to high demand." High demand during the holidays. Who'd a thunk it? Tip for consumers:Don't order unless you have oodles of time to wait for the shipment to arrive.
Ordered two 24x36 prints from Threadless for $65 each. The product description states that each print will have a 1" border. One print is great but the other print they sent me is just a 17x23 print on a 24x36 piece of paper, and on top of that the print is messed up at the top. Did I really pay an extra $30 over what they charge for an 18x24 print to receive an extra large border on a large piece of paper? I immediately contacted customer service via their website, and have received no reply in 4 days. On social media they respond saying "they'll look into it" and also do literally nothing about it. Their customer service is literally non-existent... if you're going to order from them, just understand that if anything is messed up, you will be left holding the bag.
Made a 100% original picture and I got told it was owned by someone else. Wish you were able to sue for defamation or something because this really got under my skin. I don't like being lied on and called a thief. Stay away from this site unless you want the same thing to happen to you.
When adding an item on the site, it says this: Free Shipping On US Orders Over $99. See checkout for details (excluding Shoes, Skateboards, and some Wall Art). I go, cool! Add three shirts, add a shower curtain, none of these are on the items that are excluded. Go to checkout, price before tax + shipping is over $99, put in US address, annnnd the shipping is not free. What? Since I don't have social media, I then text their support line since I thought it would be pretty fast with responding, although it does take them a few hours to respond to our back&forth conversation. Which is ok! I don't blame the support. They say it's because I had TWO orders, since their shower curtains ship from a different facility it counts as a second order, and they also state that they mention this on the website. Just light scrolling through the website I don't see ANYTHING about this, and the banner literally says to 'see checkout for details', which I did: and after you input your address, billing info, etc., it THEN states all the way at the bottom of the screen that it's 'discounted shipping' and that it only applies to the first order (which, it technically should be one order, even if you ship it from two different facilities that's on you the company?). Why is this so hard to explain during the process; so that I understand why the shipping fee is there? They didn't offer to comp the shipping or anything, which was really frustrating since I did want to buy these things for my friends! Anyways, I wouldn't bother if I was you. There are loads of other t-shirt sites out there, and I wasn't given anything other than incorrect info. I do NOT blame support, however it should be very clear and easy to understand why you aren't getting a special discount that they clearly advertise when you try adding an item on their website. It is NOT my fault you guys have two shipping facilities, and I should NOT be charged for extra shipping just because you have to go to a different facility for your shower curtains vs shirts. Unfair, and it doesn't state that on the website unless I go maniacal and click on every link in your site to eventually find the answer I'm told is apparently there. Service Value Shipping
They look cute but they are VERY VERY thin. Like see through them thin. Might as well use a kleenix because it gives about the same amount of protection. Sent all of the ones I ordered right back.
