Scam. Ordered from BH Cosmetics official website but never received my makeup palette. Package was sitting in another state for 2 weeks. I disputed the charge and got my money back. I own maybe 5 or 6 eye shadow palettes and 3 blush palettes and a set of brushes and have been extremely happy with all of my purchases (along with a purchase from Ulta which is where I found the brand originally). This makeup is reasonably priced and looks good on... there are a variety of shades/colors and I had zero problem with shipping/tracking/delivery. I'm glad I ordered before seeing all these reviews as I'm very satisfied and if I had seen these reviews first, I'd never tried them out. IBY Beauty is another fave... just because make up is more expensive, doesn't make it better quality. I had no issue the first time, as it said on the site, it would be 1-3 days to process, then 8 days to ship. So far it has done this both times with no issue. The products worked great and didn't arrive broken. The tracking was extremely accurate down to the minute they put it on my doorstep. I see many reviews talking about issues of shipping times, but judging from how easily I could track my package with little issue, that's less of BH's fault and more of FedEx's (the shipping service they use) fault. Or just maybe a lot of people who didn't put their address correctly/other issues on their part. Tip for consumers:Mainly people who are mad at a site write bad reviews, typically the issues they have with these products, typically missing will write the address down wrong or not put all information. Of course, there are some genuine cases of missing products and shipping issues, but it's mainly people looking for a free refund. Products used:I used the BH Cosmetics Studio Pro compact powder. When I requested a refund after waiting for a month, they decided to ship the products. I told them that it was way out of delivery eta and I didn't want them anymore. They are refusing to give me a refund and have been ignoring my requests. I still didn't get the products even though they were shipped. I filed a claim with Paypal. Lets see if it works. The eyeshadow pallets and eyeliners I ordered arrived in just under a month. The quality was way above what i expected for the price. I immediately emailed them to request one be cancelled because I didn't intentionally order two of the same things. They refused to cancel one of my orders and they are saying there is nothing I can do to get a refund. I will never give them my business again. I received one eyeliner broken and their customer service wouldn't listen to what I was saying and it took almost 2 weeks to "resolve" the issue (which still isn't resolved). Date of experience: August 29, 2020I ordered 9 makeup palettes from this company on September 4th, 2020. I paid the extra $12.95 for FedEx 2 day shipping. We have a wedding to attend on the 14th so I figured it was plenty of time for arrival. Needless to say, today is the 14th and still nothing. I had a tracking number sent to me and it said the package would be delivered on the 8th. When it didn't show up I called fedex and they told me that the products have not left even left BH cosmetics yet. WHAT? I called BH cosmetics and they verified the order wasn't shipped yet and they didn't know why. They said they would return the fedex shipping fee, but still to this day I haven't even gotten that back. The wedding is tomorrow morning and no makeup from them. In fact, I was just comparing one of their liquid lip colors to a similar product from Anastasia Beverly Hills and found the BH Cosmetics product performed better. Second, my past and recent orders have been timely and shipped just as expected. I ordered products last month that shipped within three days and I received four days later. Now, I'm on a west coast, only a couple of states away from their location, so it's possible that influences my positive shipping experiences. I got my shipment five days after ordering (not bad at all) and love my items (shadow/ blush/ brushes/ concealer). The items were well packed in bubble wrap I'm not sure if I got lucky or the negative reviewers on here got unlucky, but I've had zero issues with this company and I'll definitely buy from them again. Matte shadows are chalky and have very poor color payoff. I contacted customer service and was told that "all sales are final". However, I do not recall seeing any disclosure to that effect on the website during my purchase. I will never buy from this website again. PS: unlike what was described in many other reviews, my products did arrive within a reasonable amount of time and the customer service team did answer my emails quickly. So after reading a few reviews on different websites I got a little worried about shipment/ delivery. I read of many receiving broken products but I'm glad to report that I just got my shipment today and everything was as explained on their website. It took 3 to 4 business days for them to ship it out I did get a tracking number immediately. Plus I received a text and e-mail stating my tracking number and also that a label had been made. My package was even delivered two days before estimated delivery so overall I am very happy with BH Cosmetics. They ship from the west coast U.S. and for me arrive within 5 days. Their eyeshadow pallets are a great bang for your buck since the pigments are rich and the price is a steal. Their brush sets are a decent quality and well worth the $10-$15 bucks for a set vs. $15 for one MAC brush. They always have sales and there's usually good deals when ever I visit the site. Overall they're a decent place with consistent quality. I usually purchase lines that are much more expensive but am now on disability and on a budget. I am so happy i decided to take the risk and save some money. It was well worth it. I absolutely love what I have gotten from them, the mascara I'm still on the fence about but everything else I love. The packaging it's shipped in is amazing, everything came perfectly packed no damage. I sent an email asking a question to them and received a quick response. The eye shadows are so pretty and have such great color. The lip pencils and liquid lipsticks are so pigmented and have great staying power.
