My story! I made my 1st purchase of 2 products, one is a Versace Watch which came with damaged strap which are caused due to its usage. Spent $780 on a used watch? The website at least need to mention it as an open box product. Highly disappointed!
Second product, they just called it after a week and said they will send me some 10% discount coupon which I never received. Disappointed again!
With all my first time shopping disaster experience with last call, I made up my mind to give it a second chance. I made my second purchase, and now the product got cancelled again. Why do you take orders when you can't fulfill?
So, I would recommend everyone not to make purchases from this site and get disappointed what if you made some plans based on your purchase and after a week you receive an email saying Oops! We can't fulfill your order. It's just disgusting! Never Ever again!
Date of experience: July 3, 2020I have spent quite a bit of time on this site looking for items in my size that I think will work for me. After completing my purchases, 9 out of 10 times I get a notice 3-5 days later that the item is not available. This happened with one Lafayette dress that was left on the site for months afterward. It was advertised at one price, and available through back order at another. I know because I called to find out what was going on. I don't know whether those orders were ever fulfilled. You might be able to snag a bargain now and then, but in the end, I am not sure it is worth it.
Date of experience: February 19, 2024My 2 orders were cancelled 2 days after charging credit cards, at pretense of enabling verify "my information", but suggesting to make new orders with different credit card. What a scam: advertising sale on big names, keeping money for couple of days, like in mine case 4 days, $650, and go on asking for more... Wish i read these reviews before.

Contacted customer service and they were completely unhelpful. Response Oops send it back when it arrives and I will have to pay for the return shipping.
Date of experience: October 3, 2019I have been shopping with Neiman's for 40 years. This year I have ordered many items from Neiman Marcus last call. I have had nothing but good experiences with this company. All of my orders have arrived quickly and are exactly what I ordered. My returns are always processed quickly. The few times I have had to call customer service I have been treated with the utmost respect and had wonderful service. I am truly shocked at some of these reviews. It leaves me wondering if these are people who can't get along with anyone.
Tip for consumers:When you first start using the Neiman's last call website it may seem a bit slow. Be patient, take the time to learn to navigate the website and you will find amazing deals on gorgeous products. If you do need to call customer service be extremely nice to them! They don't own the company and they did not manufacture the product. they are much more likely to accommodate any request you might have if you start conversation on a positive professional note. I am speaking from experience.

Date of experience: November 29, 2019I purchased two sunglasses over a month ago and have yet to receive my refund to the original form of payment. Last Call for some reason issued me a gift card (which I did not receive). When I called to tell them that I wanted the refund back to my credit card, they told me that it would be completed within 1-3 business days. It has been 3 weeks and I have yet to receive my refund, and after having called about 6 times I keep getting told that it will be refunded in 1-3 business days. Worst customer service.

I was eventually promised a full refund but that it may take up to a month to show up
I never received the refund.

I don't usually write reviews, but I use this site to decide whether or not to trust other sites, so I thought I'd put in a word for the site I know without a doubt is good to order from. All of the clothes I order from them are great quality, and if I have a problem with anything for any reason, I usually just return it to the store no problem. Now with covid shutting down the store, I recently had an order, and some stuff fit bad, so I called customer service and they were very polite and scheduled a FedEx driver to come pick it up from me. I've been shopping this site for over 5 years, love it.
Date of experience: April 18, 2020I didn't want to believe the reviews because this is Neiman Marcus, but unfortunately, they were true. I paid for a Chloé C Clutch With Chain In Shiny & Suede Calfskin, FedEx delivery confirmation stated it would arrive 3/3/20, and it never arrived... and I never received any communication. I called on 3/4/20 to find out it was cancelled that day due to availability... an entire WEEK after purchase. Are you kidding me? They still have my money to boot! I started filing complaints, first with the FTC and BBB. This is just ridiculous.
So basically, this company makes up merchandise out of thin air, charges people for this phantom merchandise, holds on to their money for weeks earning all kinds of interest, then finally says, "Ooops. I guess we ran out". Nice.
Date of experience: March 5, 2020They charge for the returns. What normal online store does that nowadays? They offer to take back to a store not to pay for a return but you can barely find one near you. They have just a few. Super unhappy
Date of experience: February 15, 2020I have been buying from NMLC for years, almost exclusively on line, although there is a store nearby. Here's the deal, if it's marked down 50% and you have a 40% coupon, you get the 50%, not 40% on top of 50%. You get the better deal, not both! People, where can you go where you get both? Their products are high quality. I wear their dress shirts everyday. They are also shoprunner, so I get free delivery. I have never had a problem with a return. The couple times I bought something and then it went on sale within a week, I got on line, opened the chat and they gave me a credit. I look for the sales and then buy. I just bought 4 NM Dress shirts for $49 because I watch the sales. You can't buy anything near that quality for close to that price. I love this store and strongly recommend it.
Tip for consumers:Watch for the sales. Don't buy at their suggested price, it will go on sale in short order.

Date of experience: February 15, 2020I ordered 8 itemsfrom Last Call and none of the fit properly and the quality was not there. I'm a Neiman's fan so I thought I would try it. Trying to return is a nightmare. Using the online method I was told I needed to contact them. I then was put on a 15 minute hold to get to an agent. Not to mentiin I'll pay over 25 dollars for an order of which nothing worked out. Byer beware!
Date of experience: October 25, 2019II walked in to Last Call store in Congressional Plaza in Rockville, MD at around 2 pm. on 11/289/19. The huge sign in front of the 2nd floor store says: FREE tote bag if you spend $25. I shopped inside the store, but sales people were not attentive and did not care to help. I still found some gifts and spent about $40. When I asked the male sales person where is my fee tote, he simply went to the front door and removed the sign. He managed to say that free totes were given out until 12 noon. Really? So why are you removing this sign at 2.30pm? I dont care about $3 free tote, but it just shows what a terrible customer service this store has. This was just another example of why this store is soo poorly rated
Date of experience: November 29, 2019Ordered 12 items for more than $2000. When I received the confirmation e-mail it said signature required for delivery. I called to have this requirement removed. They said I had to call Fed Ex. I requested instead that order be canceled. First agent hung up on me. Second agent canceled most of the items but not those shipped directly from the manufacturer. I called back when I didn't get cancelation notice I called back and third agent told me about uncancelled items. She couldn't give me cancellation # the system doesn't generate it so I asked for her name and employee I'd #. 24 hours later still no cancellation confirmation and when I called again no record of cancellation and employee doesn't exist. I do most of my online shopping with Nordstrom's. Difference in customer service is like night and day

Ordered 3 items on 3 May 2017, only received 1 of 3. No contact received from company, have sent 4 questions. Live in Australia and online chat has no-one available let alone picking up a phone. So no one replies to the only method of contact which is email.
How hard is it to respond?

They offered discounts on future purchases, partial refunds to my credit card, etc. But any solution they proposed in the end would cost me money. Never, ever will I order from them. Order at your own peril
Date of experience: September 15, 2017This place is very sketchy. I placed an order online yesterday for an in store pickup and I didn't get a confirmation email. I thought that was weird, so I contacted a chat representative. During this process, I notice that they have charged my card. The representative insists that order didn't go through but I should check back tomorrow because they've been having "problems" with their system. I contacted them again today, and after spending a total of couple of hours at online chat, their resolution is for me to wait 3-10 business days to make sure the charge is returned to my account and then place the order again. What a joke.

Later on I received emails stating there was an issue processing my orders? Called the number provided to be met with VERY RUDE Reps stating I could only make my purchases in store with ID. No further explanation! And then she hung up on me? I wish I had her name to file a formal complaint. For Neiman Marcus to be a so called top of the line store, their customer services sucks and I will close this account immediately. Obviously my business isn't valued! I am very insulted on how I was treated.
Date of experience: March 21, 2016Wife bought me a pair of shoes for Christmas. Shoes that arrived were 2 sizes too big. Box was thrown away accidentally on Christmas morning. Returned the shoes sans box, got 0 refund, and they kept them. Thanks for nothing, last call. Never again.
Date of experience: February 11, 2019I ordered two different items - both items actually shipped did not match the pictures online. Completely different colors. Then I realize they were going to charge me 9.95 for each return.
I will say customer service through the online chat was pretty good. But I will probably never order anything from this company again. For using the Neiman name - this very disappointing. Went to Nordstrom rack and got a similar item and a great service.
Too bad - both the flagship brand and the last call - have lost a customer in me.

Date of experience: March 20, 2017The "exchange" policy is absurd - a joke! I called within minutes of receiving a coat seeking an exchange. Although there was just one available nationwide in the size needed, I was told the "exchange" policy is return the item, wait to receive a merchandise credit gift card and buy again! Really... I was being set up to pay $9.95 return shipping and get saddled with a store credit. A "supervisor" offered no alternative! The coat in the size needed sold out before the phone call ended! Most major retailers pull the exchange merchandise, place a hold for its value against the customer credit card and ship while awaiting return of the original item. Or, they are clear that no exchanges are available! Both the policies and the personnel are below acceptable standards! Never again!

Materials were of first quality, exactly like those I have purchased at N-M itself. N-M is more expensive than the department stores I normally patronize, like Nordstrom and Bloomingdales, I had some trepidation paying close to Nordstrom prices for items an bargain outlet of N-M at similar, i. E., would I receive lower quality for similar non-sale prices? At least on this occasion the answer was no. (Purchased items included shoes, ties, socks.)
Date of experience: April 29, 2016I returned back the items to Lastcall and it has been delivered to them on 5/26 so I assumed the money will be credited back to my PayPal in a few days later After a week I contacted them again and they said the credit of... was issued back to my PayPal on 6/1 and it will takes about 5 to 6 days to appear on my account. I waited about 10 days later I contacted them again they told me it will takes little longer than expected at least 10-14 days to reflect on my account So I expected I will get my money back in a few days later. A week later I didn't see my money so I contacted them again they told me because I used different shipping address than the address on my account so they issued a gift card instead of a credit back to my PayPal. So if I want the credit back to my PayPal it will takes another 10-14 days. So hopefully I will get my money back in another 2 weeks or so.

I'd return the other but it's not as bad as the wine goblets I just received. I was going to give them as a gift but after examination I realized that these were not something I could in good conscience give as a gift. They are going back!

Checked the card for exclusions and there were NONE except cash/cc card payments. Card reads, Please enjoy this promotion of $50 off any purchase of $50 or more before tax and must be used by October 31,2018. Good in-store or online. WRONG... tried to purchase a dress for $53.00 and was declined for the promotion because it had been marked down! Really? Isn't that why Last Call is an outlet?
