I didn't see where this magazine was to be viewed online instead of being sent in a physical manner. My mom is 86 and I got it for her for Christmas and she will only read a physical copy, not digital.
Date of experience: February 10, 2024It was easy to navigate the website and choose my magazines. There were also several $2 offers, for a full year (6 to 12 issues, depending on the magazine. This special price expires in a year, but you get a notice in time to cancel, and then find them again at the low price. At least I hope I'm reviewing the right website!

This service has been very helpful in commencing and renewing subscriptions at good savings relative to the regular subscription prices. And things have worked smoothly.
Date of experience: February 16, 2024I've been a customer with Discount Mags (DM), for close to 15 years. I only use DM for all my subscriptions, and there are many. If I have an issue they take care of it. DM is not local, for me, but that doesn't prevent them from rectifying the issue at hand.

The publisher's fault (which they all have been), but the customer service rep from Discount Mags took care of it quickly and to my satisfaction. Plus, especially with their sales, they have the best prices on most magazines that they offer. Very pleased, wish all companies were this easy to deal with!

I've often found their prices to be the lowest and their service always top-notch. As well, when I've had problems with publisher fulfillment (i. E., not getting my subscription), DiscountMags' customer service has always looked into the problem promptly and resolved it satisfactorily. Highly recommended!

Got tired of Calling father was dying.he didn't realize what day it was, so it became easier. But please get this delivered. I bought it from my husband and he is not dying! Delivery sucked!

Date of experience: October 8, 2020If you love magazines, discountmags.com offers a wide variety at a reasonable cost.
However, it's not always easy to order at the lowest price because what seems unbeatable is sometimes beaten shortly after by discountmags.com itself.
The other issue (no pun intended) is that if you renew your subscription through discountmags.com before your existing subscription expires, you're not told upfront that the magazine publisher might cancel the order because you renewed at a lower price than the publisher itself charges.

They were extremely responsive and credited me the cost of the subscription. They are prompt and extremely helpful. I could not recommend this company more.

Customer service is really what makes or breaks a business and they have consistently excelled. I absolutely love their DiscountLock feature and have renewed several magazines throughout the years at the promotional price. I contacted them to say thank you during this Thanksgiving season and was asked to leave a review here which I am happy to do.
Tip for consumers:Sign up for their emails; they send promotions primarily through them.

I've been shopping at Discountmags for a few years and never had any issues with my orders. I ordered a magazine for my mother for her birthday and it never arrived, I was so disappointed. I contacted the company and I received a response within hours asking for further details, I gave the customer care rep (Alexis) more info. She was so professional and quick to respond, I was amazed. She handled my situation immediately and followed up like she said she would. Excellent customer service is rare these days, Alexis is a rockstar and I hope she receives further recognition by Discountmags. I'm happy to be a long term customer. I would highly recommend this company.

They just outrank all offers by far I couldn't afford to give so many magazine gifts without there prices and I'm always looking for the best magazines and believe me I have looked.

Then I get one to three more emails saying you have done it. This is a lot of wasted time. You previously offered a choice when ordering. Please do so again.

DiscountMags got in touch with the publisher and I was to receive a second 21st issue, however my missin issue showed up on 10/1 along with my 10/3 issue. The publisher is adding an additional issues at the end of my subscription to make up for the problem I certainly didn't expect this, but I am very pleased about it. Alexis at DiscountMags followed through from the beginning and she emailed me each step of the way. Both DiscountMags and the publisher were wonderful.
