I placed an order for 13 shirts for baseball jerseys. As soon as I paid on the website it put a hold on my account for $236 and then also immediately charged my card $330. When I called and asked about it, the lady said they do this with EVERY order and it will fall off in 7-10 days. I have ordered before and this didn't happen. How it is it legal to tie up $236 of my money when they also received my full payment? I called my bank and they were astonished that this happened and that they said they do it on every order. They immediately turned it over to their fraud division.
This is a fraud on customers! It's a scam!
Tip for consumers:I was promised a refund for the shipping and they overcharged me for the shirts, was supposed to get the difference refunded and that never happened.

We live in Australia and I needed to get some comfort about the business. I proceeded with caution and I'd have to say I was extremely pleased that I did. Not only were the cleats cheaper inc of delivery cost than they would be to purchase here - the delivery timing and communication was great. Well done and I've recommended your store to others here so hopefully you'll see an uptick in purchases for Australian baseballers. David
Date of experience: July 2, 2024When you spend over $400 for a baseball bat you expect to get what you paid for. We were told that the bat will be delivered in 2 business days and unfortunately this company uses FedEx it is now 3 days and counting for delivery. I asked their cs team about it being late, and there was no sense of care or concern, like it was usual and common business for them.
I would suggest giving your money to any other company that cares about their customers.
Date of experience: July 8, 2022Ordered new catchers gear for daughter description sizes 14-15 I get gear in today shin guards are 16" when it says specifically over the shin guards 14-15 customer service was 0 help when I tried to let them know how misleading the photos are and was told I should of looked at more descriptions… what more do I need beside at picture with the sizing of the specific equipment? Never will order here again.

Date of experience: April 17, 2023This is my second purchase from Baseball Savings. The first time, the bat bag arrived late. This time, the wood bat arrived defective--a diamond-shaped piece was cut out of the bat's handle. Very strange. I was told a new one would be expedited to me and arrive 2 days later (on Friday). It didn't arrive. I called again and was told the order was on hold and she "released it" for Monday delivery. Come Monday, the status of the order still cites "not shipped". I called to speak to a manager and was told to leave a message and she would call me back; they never called me back. This is a horrible company fully of liars who make empty promises, but they're really good about taking your money. Go elsewhere to buy your products. Shame on me for giving them a second chance! Don't make the same mistake I did.

Date of experience: April 18, 2022Ordered a bat from this company solely because they offered free 2 day shipping. I ordered Sunday so it should have been here wednesday. It's now Thursday and still isnt here and shows it as at least another day away. Contacted customer service and they lied to me twice. First saying that I chose priority shipping which is 3 to 5 day shipping. LIE. I sent them a screen shot of my order where it shows 2 day shipping was selected. She then tried to lie to me and tell me it's because I have a po box so they ship USPS and usps has no two day option. LIE #2. USPS actually does have 2 day shipping, it's called priority Express and is guaranteed 2 day shipping. When I told her this she needed the chat and it asked if I wanted to speak with a representative again. I said yes and no one ever connected to the chat. My nephew wanted this bat in time for his pictures, which were for today. Zero accountability from the company and she kept trying to blame me!

Date of experience: March 7, 2024I ordered Sunday 1/29/23 and paid for expedited shipping. Per their website it should have shipped Monday. On Wednesday I had to contact them and they supposedly overnighted the package. It's now almost Sunday 2/5/23 and no package. Fed ex has no idea when it will get to me, they can't seem to locate it.
This company has the worst luck with fed ex as all these reviews say the same thing, though it seems very shady. They now want to wait 5 days to either refund or send another item. You don't have the money to refund or send now and then provide a return label or contact fed ex and re route package? You've stolen $100 from me essentially.

Date of experience: February 5, 2023Ordered a bat that was showing as in-stock on their site. After 2.5 weeks I find out the item is back ordered (I had to call them to figure this out). Additionally, they debited my credit card on 3 SEPARATE OCCASIONS! I got charged 3 times for a product they can't deliver! Beyond a hassle going back and forth with their piss poor customer service only to be informed that the money I shouldn't have been charged in the first place won't be refunded for 5 business days. To date I still don't have a refund and am considering requesting dispute with credit card. Joke of a company.

Date of experience: December 19, 2022Don't buy from this company. Order goes through, FedEx confirmation comes through, and then... nothing. Contact customer service and they'll give you the run around, "Oh, well, hmmm, that's so weird." but it's always the same. They sneak in a "Fuel Surcharge" in your order and if by chance you get a refund they'll do a little here, a little there hoping that you're too stupid to do the math and get ALL your money back. I've ordered twice from them after giving them the benefit of the doubt the first time and it's déjà vu all over again with the second package. This time I'm just going straight to AMEX to contest the purchase.
Date of experience: September 12, 2023Placed an order for 13 helmets and they mis shipped 1 of them the incorrect size. They did almost nothing to resolve the issue in a timely manner and made me jump through multiple hoops in order to get the the correct item shipped to me. I was also lied to by multiple CS agents on the phone about them placing the replacement order with next day air shipping discovering days later they still hadn't actually placed the order at all. THen when the order was placed for the correct item to be mailed she only offered 2 day shipping because their cost on NDA was too much. What a joke will not be doing business with them ever again!

They state they ship your order give you a tracking number and a date, but it never arrives. I called the company to address the issue and they are no help. They have to file a claim with the shipping company and it takes anywhere from 7 to 10 business days. They will not cancel and refund. It's such a joke!

Then get an email that the $400-500 bats is backordered do I want to order another model. SO I order another brand but will it still be here by saturday "OH yes sir you will have it friday ok lets did this. Did not show up when I email they say it will arrive in a few days typically after they reach out to Fed ex. Nothing still Ordered on 8/22 now its 9/2 I call and they tell me I can order another bat and pay for it if I really want it that bad and when they find the other one then they will refund me. So noe this bat if I want it will cost me $1000. I ask to speak with a manager and "Oh sorry sir she is too busy to speak with you" Really? Come on my son (10 years old) are you sure you didnt get scammed dad? Well after the other reviews Im not so sure

Called customer service and was told that as soon as they received the item back, they would released the correct one via FedEx and by the next day. Today is Ocrober 17 and I am yet to receive the item. I was to use this equipment during tournaments in Florida and Arizona. When I sent the erroneously sent item, they received it in 2-3 days.

Will not refund the 30 dollars in expedited shipping I paid to get the wrong product. Only money I am receiving back is the cost of the gear itself. No tax and no shipping charges. RUDES CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. I will find somewhere else to order through. I will never again use this website. They aren't even worth the 1 star I had to give them.

Prices were fine, I managed to get all three items on sale, but that's where the trouble started. I received an order confirmation with all three items, yet when it arrived (almost two weeks later) only the bats were included. Turns out they cancelled the shipment of my glove without notifying me, and when I called to inquire the lady on the phone basically responded with "too bad" and sent me on my way. So in short the package took a week just to ship, and when it arrived it didn't even contain what I ordered. To top it all off the customer service was rude and unhelpful, and that's more than enough to keep me from buying here again.

For example: the rain jacket "Wire2Wire Mens Performance Long Sleeve Cage Jacket SKU: I*******" just ripped on the second day of use. Also, the other items we purchased were low quality. Avoid!
Date of experience: January 11, 2023Prices are hard to beat anywhere, especially with one of their coupons. However, everything is fine until you have an issue. No customer support. One order was fine. The next, issues arose. I tried using their customer service email, received a non-deliverable back. Tried their online chat, no one available. Eventually got an email through to another inbox and got no response. So if your order goes through ok and the item works, you are good. Otherwise look out.
Date of experience: April 6, 2018I honestly think the rest of you people are full of $#*!. I ordered a pair of cleats on Saturday and they were shipped Monday on time. They'll be here by tomorrow (Thursday) which I don't think is all that bad. I will review more when I get my product but the customer service rep I spoke with was polite and answered all questions, maybe instead of being a giant $#*! on the phone with someone you don't know you should try some manners and you'd get farther... Good site, will probably order again.
PS to the guy who ordered catchers equpiment, you get what you pay for, you probably ordered some bull$#*! brand like Wilson or Allstar...

I placed an order for over $1,000 in MLB hats. I verified the inventory via chat with a representative before placing it. He stated one item may have an issue. The next day, that item (7 of them) and another (2 of them) were cancelled. I called again to verify that this was the only items to be be cancelled and was assured it was final. The following day, another item (3 of them) were cancelled. Again today, another item (9 of them) were cancelled! I have once again called to verify and have been told that it will ship tomorrow but I have had 14 items cancelled that were verified in stock!

The website claims same day shipping if ordered before 3 p.m. I ordered mine Sunday night and expected to get a confirmation that it shipped but I didn't. I called customer service and was told that because we are a first time customer they make sure the credit card matches the address and it goes on hold. Am I mistaken that the credit card info will be tossed and the order will not go through if they do not match not to mention it was already billed to our card so it was all a load if crap. I was told it would ship tomorrow and if not they do not want to get another call from me. We need it by this weekend and the promise of same day shipped swayed me to order from them.
Date of experience: March 21, 2011They seem to take a long time to get an order shipped out. I expect an in stock order to ship the next business day. OK sometimes maybe the next day, but just generating a tracking number but not getting it to the carrier in time to go out is unacceptable. Two business days later it need to be on a truck headed to its destination, not dropped of at 10 at night so it hopefully goes out the next day. Im not too happy with these guys

If you place your order before 3:00 p.m. CST, the item will be shipped the same day. I placed my order at 2:00 p.m. CST, received my email confirmation at 2:08 p.m. CST, but did not receive a shipping confirmation email that night. I called the next morning and asked where my order was and was told it was going to be shipped that day. I informed the customer representative that the order should have been shipped the day before with next day shipping. He apologized and said he would refund my shipping costs. Okay, great. Figured I could live with getting it a day later. Wednesday morning I track my package and see that it shipped it 2nd day and not Next Day like I had originally chose and paid for. Now the glove that I needed Tuesday, won't get here until Friday and I needed it by Wednesday at the latest. NOT HAPPY! If you need something urgent, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. Now I have to scramble and find a glove for my son to use for a tournament this weekend.
