I ordered 4 action figures from Entertainment Earth hoping to receive at least 2 mint boxes and they packed all 4 into one small box that arrived looking like an accordion from being smashed in shipping. The figures are ruined. They refuse to refund me even after sending multiple pictures and told me that because I ordered four they do not refund any order over 3 of an item. I have never been punished by any company for spending more money with them before now. Entertainment Earth refuses to admit that these figures never should have left the warehouse in such a poorly packed box that was entirely too small. They claim that they have a "mint condition guarantee" but they do not. They cant even spend the extra money to pack items properly let alone honor any guarantee. They took me for 100.00 don't let them take you too. BEWARE!
Date of experience: October 21, 2024Talk about a first impression! My last order was in January, got put on back order, and now is expected to be shipped in September. I'll suffice with an incomplete collection at this point. There are plenty of other reliable websites.

It is now January 2023 and I contacted Customer service who said "Veronica D.Hello, thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, the ETA was pushed to this month. We do not receive specific ETA dates from manufacturers due to variables in shipping and production times, just a general month estimate. This item is now expected to arrive sometime in January and it will be shipped as soon as it is delivered to us."

Customer service trapped us with the manager's knowledge and approval and didn't cancel our pre-order we placed 3 months ago and forced us to pay unfairly. In our last meeting with the manager on 27.01.2023; He said either pay the money or go.
They have the worst give employees policies to work for in America. They do not deliver the products on time and threaten you with their policy to pay a penalty.

Took my order, then the item sold out everywhere. 3 weeks later they are still waiting on the item they didn't even have and weren't actually getting. Now because they were trying to grab market share with merchandise they don't actually own to sell, I can't get the thing I had the money for. After looking at this it seems this is a common occurrence with this crappy company.

I contacted their customer support and they took care of the issue and was a great overall experience. Issues can happen with any business but its how they handle those issues. Could not recommend enough.

I tried to contact them through email and phone to cancel before it shipped, no luck! No response to anything. Do they even have a customer service department? I sent the email a week before the item shipped! I tried chat and calling during business hours. Nothing at all!

Some items took over a year to get to me. Some things I just ended up cancelling and buying somewhere else. Don't order if you expect your stuff

Now the item was supposed to be here and I've seen it at target and Walmart in February 23. It is now October 23 and now arrives in January 24. I've looked for the item from other places but they say it has been discontinued and this is the last piece to finish a set my kid loves.

Date of experience: July 26, 2023My nephew used my card to by a dinosaur from them a few weeks ago and then last week I had a random charge on my account from them for $26.86 that I did not authorize. I have sent an email and tried customer service twice. The first time I was kept on hold for over 20 minutes, I am currently on hold with them now and we have clocked in at over 20 minutes again on hold. So either they stole from me or they are a terribly run company. I guess I will have to dispute the charge with my bank tomorrow. Very annoying.
Date of experience: March 20, 2023Every item I've gotten from entertainment earth has been heavily damaged. Creases crushed bubbles clear plastic has so many scratches on it. You can't even see the item they tossed the item in a box with some crumble paper around it and literally wad the packing slip up and throw it on top. Can't even fold it. Neatly send items back for refund. End up paying my own shipping to send it back I've had several orders one or two. I wanted to cancel so they canceled all of them. Doesn't matter anyway, they'll just send me a bunch of crap
Date of experience: October 7, 2023I've written positive reviews for entertainment earth but things have changed over there. Be careful of Donald. He has the worst customer service rep over there. There used to be a higher level of mint condition guarantee at entertainment earth but their standards and customer service have taken a huge dive. I calculate $150 to resell their items at a loss. To the owner of entertainment earth, Jason. No need to reach out. Donald gave an attitude, was rude so there's sno reason for me to make orders over there. I would've been fine returning the sealed items and never buying again parting ways on good terms but I do not agree with taking tons of photos of the paint issues and then possibly being rejected after doing all that work. Too much of a hassle and definitely not a hassle free experience.

Date of experience: June 1, 2023Ordered a couple small items from them. After two weeks my order wasn't shipped, so I complained. They sent me a "tracking number" aka they created a shipping label. But over a week later and they still haven't actually sent the item out. It's been almost a month, and they've now stopped replying to all emails. Will have to report the fraud to my credit card company. Stay away from these thieves!

Veronica responded to my email quickly and handled my situation well. She keep me posted every step of the way and was able to change my shipping address to my new address.

Date of experience: July 22, 2023I have been a customer of Entertainment Earth for several years. Never had any issues until a recent shipment was sent to an old address by no fault of theirs. I contacted their customer service and they assisted me in rerouting part of my shipment. The other part that was already delivered they refunded what was not available and the reshipped the items they still had. No questions asked. They also updated my account to remove old addresses for me. Veronica was absolutely the best service agent. Excellent prices and deals on shipping. I will shop here for as long as they are around. Highly recommended.

Date of experience: March 29, 2023They will get your orders wrong and not give a $#*!. So far 3 orders have been messed up. All was supposed to be glow/chase funko pops but instead they send regular ones I'm starting to believe they don't have any glows or chase funko it's a lie to rob you
Date of experience: September 7, 2023This company looks legit, with their « risk free pre-order » and « free shipping » and « no hassle return » but do not feel this company is safe.
I ordered one item with them, then cancelled my order when was able to find it with a store with better shipping options. The cancellation felt easy an item was removed from my account page.
A month later they still shipped the item, denied the item was cancelled and I am forced to pay for both the item and the shipping. If you call them claiming you cancelled the supposed « risk-free pre-order » then it is your word against theirs. Stay away from them.
***Also, disregard the generated reply they sent on my review below because I obviously contacted them prior writing this review and they were absolutly not inclined to be helpful.
Date of experience: March 27, 2023My advice, be wary of pre-ordering any MTG products with them. I pre-ordered Phyrexia All Will Be One Compleat Bundles at $80 well in advance of the 3/3 release date. As all MTG buyers know the price of these spiked before release to $120+. No shipment. I've now sent two emails asking for an update on this order, both getting receipt confirmations, but neither have been replied to and it's been about 10 days now since the first (they say 1-3 business days for a response). So they can take pre-orders but not fill them, so don't waste your time especially on products that go up in value before release, they won't deliver. And before they go there, yes, I already checked my SPAM, junk, and every other folder for their reply and there has been zero communication back.
Date of experience: March 17, 2023Ordered on 7/1/23 shipped on 7/11/23 and then only because I had opened up a claim. I filed a claim because my item hadn't been shipped after 6 business days they responded that it went out that morning on 7/10 but later that day I get a message that a label was created. That hadn't shipped it and lied saying that they did. I finally got my items and they were packaged well and came as described. I would have liked to order more of them but I can't do business with a company that lies.

Date of experience: March 17, 2023Entertainment Earth is well named - its products are all entertainment-related, and it's the size of the Earth, or at least it seems so. It's a huge collection of toys, models, action figures, clothing, and all manner of spin-off merchandise from sci-fi and fantasy movies, television, manga, anime, sports, pop culture, and more. Geek collectors, both male and female, will find something tempting here, for sure. I know I did. Several somethings. The range spans almost every imaginable theme, from Lego to Lost to Lady Gaga. An adult kid's dream toy store and more, it's great fun. And if you have no money, you can always window shop and see if you can find the weirdest or most pointless merchandising. I spent more than 200 imaginary dollars on one page alone. Yep, I am well into my third or fourth childhood and loving it.
The site does not represent a choking hazard to children under the age of 3, so your toddlers can enjoy it in safety too.
