It is first time ordering from this company. I typically use Jomashop, Fragrancebuy.ca, and Amazon. I have made hundreds of online purchases with those 3 and NOT ONCE had an issue. I was home at time of delivery for my ONLY EVER purchase with Fragranceshop.com. I was notified by Shop.com that my order arrived. Within 60 seconds I went to my lobby. No package. Keep in mind I have never had a package stolen. I live in Apartment complex in low to no crime area. I was told to fill out an affidavit within the timeline they provided. About two weeks later I get notified by them that their investigation was been completed and their GPS showed product dropped off to right location. So they offered no refund, replacement of the product, or even a credit. Needless to say I will never make a purchase with them again when I have several other options with legitimate websites. Their great prices made me give them a try. Now I know why they were the cheapest. I'm am warning others that is better to pay a few dollars more to actually receive the product. In my case, however, lesson learned. Thank you Fragranceshop.com for making me appreciate Joma, Fragrancebuy.ca, and Amazon more than I already did

Date of experience: November 1, 2024In light of this site's somewhat low rating I cautiously ordered several bottles of perfumes using a great 35% off newcomer coupon. All I can say is my order came right away and in good condition. Perhaps they have attended to some of their customer service issues? At this point I'm very happy and will order from.them again.
Tip for consumers:Be sure to use the introductory 35% off coupon before it expires.

Date of experience: June 25, 2023Ordered from them a couple of times. Both times horrible experience. First time they shipped a different fragrance and at first refused to fix as they said it was the same brand. This time I paid for "expedited shipping". An expensive option that according to their website would have them process and ship the order within 2 days and would be shipped express. It has been over a week since I ordered and the product is not shipped. They do not have a working phone and also do not respond to emails. Stay far away from this company
Date of experience: October 13, 2023They didn't give me credit for a coupon at checkout. So I ended up paying double for a cologne. I would've never paid that much for. I tried calling them the phone rang and rang then made a busy signal. The site will not allow me to log into my account. So, now I have to call my credit card company because no way am I paying 80 for a cologne you can get for 45 anywhere else. And I should've been able to get for 45 with their coupon.
Date of experience: May 8, 2023I was a bit nervous seeing the *mainly* negative reviews but I decided to try them out because the perfume I wanted had gotten pretty expensive everywhere else and this site had it for a more affordable price. I almost cancelled my order because I was super nervous they weren't legit but I decided to stick with it and I'm happy I did. I placed my order on Sunday and received it by Friday. Not sure if it's 100% legit (I'm hoping it is), but we shall see! Overall very very pleased and will be ordering again.

All real companies this fay in age have a phone number you can call. I have emailed them numerous times and they don't answer any emails.

I also looked high and low for a number to resolve this issue. Well as many of us stated NO LUCK. Don't buy anything from this company's because you may get what I got scammed.
Date of experience: February 12, 2024Ordered 2 bottles of cologne on April 15, but got an email today, April 22, that it was out of stock. It took a week to find out you were out of stock? I find that really unprofessional for it to have taken that long to realize that you could not fulfill an order. This was after I tried to log in (they make you create an account) to check for shipping details only yo be told I didn't have an account with my email (even though the invoice was sent to my email and then the cancelation was too). So now my gift will be late because I have to reorder from someone else. Absolutely ridiculous. The cancelation email said they will refund my money but it hasn't been refunded yet, so as of now I'm out $60. Will not order from them again and I suggest that you find someone else to purchase from as well.

Date of experience: April 22, 2022I bought a product on their website mainly because of a free bag which was advertised. The website clearly showed the bag and the eligible products for the free bag - I bought one of the eligible products. When the order arrived, the free bag was not there. I contacted them and they denied there was this offer. I went back on their website and by that time they had a new offer - different bag and different eligible products. They deliberately mislead customers, false advertising. Do not trust them. I am reporting them to consumer standards.

Date of experience: September 8, 2023I am glad I did not read the reviews before my first order because it would have discouraged me from buying. I been to some bad perfume sites where I doubted if they were the Real fragrance and not a knock off I was completely happy with my purchase of Versace yellow diamonds intense. I ordered a tester and their price for3oz was lots cheaper than any other site. I got my order on the date promised and now I am ordering Xmas gifts all my orders were within a 6mo period and I never had one single problem. So that has been my experience and these prices are great

My mistake was that I didn´t read the reviews on their website. I never received my reimbursement nor product after 6 months of processing. I tried writing several emails and still waiting for a response. I plan on reporting them to the FBI. They have to be investigated; If not, they will keep on using and abusing us-the consumer.
Finally, I will include an email link for those of you who have been cheated by these people. Enough complaints on file against this company will eventually bring them to justtice.

Date of experience: September 20, 2022I LOVE and thank God for finding Fragranceshop! They are the ONLY company that can mimic Lauren for Women. Other places can't even come close! I rely on them greatly for their wonderful products.
I've read other reviews on them and I'm appalled that people say they send fake fragrances, bad service, etc. They are a FAMILY run business, not a mega corporation! Stop being so impatient with them! Mistakes happen for goodness sake! How would you feel if people started writing bad things about you for the world to see? Ya wouldn't like it, would ya? Fine, be upset, but stop being so vulgar in your reviews. It just ain't nice!
Again, I LOVE FRAGRANCE SHOP and will be a loyal customer as long as I'm alive and they're around!

Date of experience: February 27, 2024I ordered a perfume for my daughters Christmas gift on the 9th December 2022 but still not the gift and todays date is 22/01/2023. I have send loads of emails asking for a refund but i just get the same automated email say please wait 10 days before contacting them again. Its now been over 6 weeks and no item or refund of £78.
No reply from a human just the stupid autoreply asking me to wait 10 days. I am going to the bank as reporting it as a fraud case and hope they will refund the money as the fragrance shop can't be bothered helping me.
Steer clear of any online buying with this company unless in the current finance state of the country you can afford to throw money away (i can't)!

Date of experience: January 22, 2023I was hesitant to buy after reading the reviews, like most people, but I wanted to get the 4.0 oz bottle of Creed Aventus since FragranceShop had it much cheaper than anywhere else ($320, still pricey but less than others). The cologne shipped in about 2 business days and with expedited shipping I got it after about 4 days total. I opened the box, smelled it, and being a second time owner, can confirm the bottle at least smells authentic. Very happy with the experience but did not have to deal with any returns or customer service issues so I can't speak as to that.
Date of experience: June 3, 2019I've been getting the same perfume from other websites for years and get tons of compliments. This one was CHEAPER. Guess you get what you pay for. It's a fraud. I got 2 and want to send them back. I've tried like 5 times. Has no smell whatsoever.

Date of experience: July 3, 2020I am extremely disappointed with my recent online shopping experience at the Fragrance Shop. Despite being aware of the negative reviews, I mustered up the courage to purchase a perfume from their website. Initially, everything seemed to be going smoothly until I received a notification from their Customer Service team. It turns out that my order, which was supposed to be delivered by USPS, has been diverted to another address due to forwarding instructions or an incorrect address/zip code.
What frustrates me even more is that the invoice clearly displayed the correct address and zip code, so there should have been no issues with the delivery. The package was scheduled to arrive on June 22nd, but I have yet to receive it. To make matters worse, despite sending two emails seeking assistance, I have not received any response from the Fragrance Shop's Customer Service.
This entire situation has left me feeling extremely let down and dissatisfied. I had high hopes for this purchase, despite the negative reviews, and I expected better customer service from the Fragrance Shop. I hope that my concerns are addressed promptly and that appropriate measures are taken to rectify this situation.

I purchased on 10/9 it's 10/20 given their shipping standards it should've been here. I didn't even get a tracking number. I typically never order with any company that does not have a good return policy or atleast a customer support number. All the red flags were there and yet I still missed it. To make matters worst this was a gift. I did reach out to customer service without response., at this point I'm going to dispute the charge with my bank. Do make the same

Date of experience: October 20, 2021I placed a considerable order with them on Black Friday (19th Nov '19) for over 150 pounds. This was after a discount of 40 pounds thanks to Black Friday. I waited the full 5 working days before querying where my order was. I got a curt email reply telling me that my order had been cancelled due to technical errors. No other explanation. I was told I should get my money reimbursed within the next 3-5 days. Here's hoping! I have used this company before and delivery was tardy previously. So much for being a loyal customer... Never again!
Date of experience: December 9, 2019I ordered 4 bottles of Davidoff Cool Water. The perfume was bad. It seemed as though it had been sitting on a shelf somewhere for years! The bottle and liquid were discolored and the smell was musky. Cool water is a fresh sweet light smelling fragrance. I called the company to return the items because of this obvious quality control issue which is the company's fault, however, they refused to provide a return shipping label. They wanted me to send photos of the bottles to prove that they were discolored and then they would consider sending a paid return label! Terrible customer service. I absolutely will NEVER purchase anything from this company again, and I suggest you all stay away to avoid a similar situation. They do not stand behind their products and have obvious quality issues.
Date of experience: January 24, 2013I have not ordered from this site for a few years( only because i live in Australia and the difference in the dollar makes it cheaper to buy here) but i ordered from the site numerous times and never had a problem with delivery or authenticity and that was coming all the way to Australia. I don't understand how there can be such a huge discrepancy in the reviews.
Date of experience: June 15, 2018I ordered a very expensive bottle of perfume because the attractive everyday price plus the special coupon made it too good to pass up. The perfume arrived promptly and was well protected for shipping, but the perfume box itself had not protective wrapping, the box was dented and the bottle itself had fingerprints all over it. The perfume was authentic--so was the box, but I felt like I bought something from the Homeboy Shopping Network. SO glad it wasn't a gift. I didn't contact the vendor because given what I've read, I would get more frustration than it was worth. I would rate customer service as average because the delivery and process were very good. BUT, I would think twice before buying from them again--regardless of the price.

Date of experience: January 7, 2016I ordered 2 products from this seller, i was told one item was in stock, the other one unavailable, i asked for a refund, they then asked me if i wanted a refund on both items or just the one that was unavailable, i replied to them saying that i would like a refund on the one that was unavailable. I am happy to say my unavailable item was refunded in just a couple of days and my other parcel arrived a week or 2 later, considering i live in Austalia, i think this wa great service. Date of experience: January 16, 2012I placed an order with fragranceshop.com on a weekend, it processed and got my cologne i ordered in a reasonable time as stated on the website/check-out.
However, when i recieved the package today. It was packaged in bubble wrap, but the corner of the box was obviously dented and the bottom of the package had a clear round sticker holding the wrapper closed. In addition, the plastic that the round clear sticker was holding down was ripped on one side.
Based on reviews and what i've seen on the actual package when i got it today. I'm undecided whether i want to return it or not.
I would not mind if i can open it and smell the cologne, because this is for a gift. I do NOT want to gift a cologne that's not real or a cologne that's been OPENED..
