Supposed to get 2-day shipping and they sent standard. Club now lost. They offered me the two day on my next order. Next order? Never in a million years. Reviews are all one star or 5 stars. Obviously the 5 stars are phony. Read them, you'll agree. These guys are scam artists. FedEx ground is just as bad. Had to put in a claim and it takes 7-10 days for an answer. What a joke. STAY AWAY!

Date of experience: October 22, 2021Website still says my clubs will be shipped in 3 weeks. Has been 4 already. If I want information I have to dig for it. Website just says waiting for fulfillment. No "sorry it is taking so long". Or anything of the like…you would figure a big online retailer would have good customer service. The also refused to publish my review…that must be why all of their online reviews are so good. Right now I would give them a negative rating if possible.

Date of experience: May 7, 2023I was given a gift certificate for TGW last xmas. I order golf balls in May of 2021. Apparently the Callaway Triple Track balls are back ordered for them for 7 months. It's now Nov of 2021 and still nothing. I've called several times over the past months to inquire and they just say they've go no stock and pending orders with Callaway. Funny though, they still have them "in stock" on their website. I posted a negative review on their website and they took it down within minutes. Friendly advise…don't order from TGW

Date of experience: November 14, 2021Day 15 and no package! Customer service does not provide any helpful info. Shipping info online is never updated and package has sat someplace on eastern seaboard for weeks. Lousy customer service and I would never use this vendor again regardless of price or selection. This vendor is not helpful when you call and my next review will be to reveal how long it took to arrive. I'm guessing it won't be pretty...
Don't bother with TGW... they pretty much bite.
Tip for consumers:don't bother using TGW...prices are ok but if nothing shows up for the birthday gift it kinda ruins it...thanks tons TGW!

Date of experience: September 15, 2021I ordered a club in early December and they sent it with the wrong shaft. I sent it back to get fixed and they ended up losing the club. I just now got my refund back after 3 months of asking for a refund. They also double charged me for the club and I'm still waiting for the money on that as well. Don't go through TGW, go to your local golf store and order it through them.
Tip for consumers:Go to PGA store or a local golf store, less headache and better customer service.

Date of experience: February 14, 2023I ordered 2 shirts and 3 pairs of pants from TGW. One pair of pants was the wrong size, I ordered 32 waist and received a 33 waist. Additionally, the 33 waist pants were the only pair that did not have tags on them, making me think they were a previously returned item. It's been almost a month since I sent the pants back and still haven't received a refund. Several TGW chat sessions resulted in "this has been processed, you should have received a refund, will send to accounting to get the refund processed today". So if I didn't keep following up would they have processed the refund? Very poor on their part.

Date of experience: May 2, 2023This place has the most unreliable website I have ever bought from. Thinking the first time ordering was just a one time fluke, and the issues would never happen twice. I was wrong, and after a week of waiting to get the shipping confirmation, I went back online and saw it was never processed! I got online and did a chat with a live customer service rep, and they apologized for the mistake and told me to re order the item, and that the charge from the first order would "fall off". I told them that this was unacceptable and that I would go elsewhere for the item I wanted. I ended up doing that, but 2 weeks later (while on a work trip) I noticed that the order had not fallen off, and that it had shipped and charged to my credit card! Here I am a month later, and still waiting for the shipment to arrive. If anyone reads this review, go ahed and pay the 20% extra or full price from any other website! Learn from my mistake. Avoid The Golf Warehouse despite the enticing deals they may have.

So that they can show you a cheaper price they add charges later when you check out like their fuel surcharge. So beware when comparing prices. I also had to make several calls to get the pricing straight. I exchanged a product because of size and they wanted to charge me significantly more for the new size. I called at the time of exchange and they assured me they would only charge me the same price for the new one as the one I returned but guess what they charged me the higher price. Several calls later they still have not made the price adjustment. BEWARE!

Date of experience: December 15, 2022Made my order on December 6th - golf apparel. 2 weeks passed - nothing. I contacted Customer Service - told me they would check into the delay. Christmas came and went - still no answer from TGW on my inquiry. I wrote a summary of what happened, and tried to post a critical review on their website - they informed me they would not post my review. 2 weeks later - still nothing / no response, no answers - nothing. Im convinced if I didnt pursue the matter, the order would disappear and be forgotten - they were quick to accept payment for the article however.

Date of experience: January 8, 2024I ordered Titleist personalized golf balls on 3/23/23 and 20 days later... no updates. So I do the job TGW should be doing to find out my status. Raven can only say that there are issues. The issue that I have is TGW should be communicating these issues to their customers. If I had known I would be waiting 2+ months to get customized balls, I would have went back to PGA Superstore. Shame on me for not readint these reviews prior to engaging in business with a poorly supported company.

The site says 3 to 5 business days then we will get you your tracking information. 9 business days later no tracking information, no response to calls or emails othet than a bogus electronic response.
This company is horrible. You can do better buy going elsewhere.

Date of experience: October 5, 2021I ordered an "in stock" putter from them, but when I checked on the status, they said it was due to ship in 40 days. When I told them to cancel the order, they then immediately shipped it. I then noticed that they had reduced the price by $100 as a closeout item on the website. When I inquired about that, they informed my that my only option was to return the putter, which I will do, and not rely on their website or "services" any more.
Date of experience: January 11, 2023I purchased a wedge from TGW and I asked for or selected the shipping that was no charge. It said a few days to ship like 5 or 7 or something like that. I am ok so far. I ordered the wedge on the 2nd and received it on the 20th. WHAT? That is not acceptable in today's world of online commerce. Is it? I went ahead and got the wedge elsewhere a few days ago. 3 days after I ordered. I will be returning this wedge. 18 days to get 1 club shipped from Kansas to Washington state is NOT good service. So, you decide is 18 days acceptable service?

Date of experience: October 23, 2009I placed a substantial order 5/27. I received shipping confirmation 5/31. I've been tracking the package as my husband was leaving for a golf trip 6/7. Originally it was scheduled for delivery 6/2. That was later changed to 6/7. For 2 days, it has been mia somewhere in Grove City. Ohio. Obviously it didn't arrive as indicated in time for its intended purpose. I've emailed these idiots 4 times and CRICKETS. Horrible customer service. I won't be shopping there again. Honestly, go Macy's. Excellent customer service every time I've dealt with them and equal product quality

Lied to me over the phone about the shipping details... or they were calling me a liar... one or the other... but I don't need to lie to get ten shipping dollars refunded... just wanted my money back based on principles... of which they've shown they have none.
Date of experience: December 2, 2018I ordered a pair of shoes. The box was severely damaged because they shipped it in a bag (WHO does that?). I immediately sent an email with pictures expressing my disappointment and asked for a new pair to ship out immediately since it was a Christmas gift. Two days later was told pics were supposedly they were too blurry (that's BS) and asked to send again. Sent the same pictures resized to fit an email better. No response for three days. On fourth, after asking again, the response was they could sent a plain brown box because they didn't have the shoe in stock. This was a Christmas gift which looks like I picked it up at the bottom of the dumpster. Corners were significantly crushed and the box fell apart when opened.

Half of my order never showed up to my house (and never will). It took me a week of consistently calling and emailing customer service to get an explanation which still doesn't make any sense.
They ended up charging me over $400 for items that retailed on the website for $190. After hours of talking to different customer service reps, the most the TGW team was willing to offer was a $50 refund for the inconvenience...
So, at the end of the day, I was charged $350 for items that retailed for $190 on the website.
By an absolute landslide, this was the worst customer service and most poorly organized company I've ever purchased from.
Date of experience: November 30, 2020Recently purchased an 8 set of custom Irons and when I received them, I had the wrong style grip, and size jumbo instead of standard. No big deal as accidents happen. Reached out to customer service and they are adamant that the grip on my club is the one ordered. They were blaming Mizuno the first day of emails. Back and forth for days in multiple emails, I finally did a rebuild of the custom irons on the website and took screen shots of what I ordered, and it clearly showed the photo of the grip with the choice standard size.
They finally agreed to send me the style grip I ordered but I'd have to cover having someone change them if I wasn't doing it myself. No big deal, just not trying to spend close to 100 more on grips I was already supposed to have. To my surprise they are sending me the correct style grip but in JUMBO again! I emailed them to not send the jumbo grips as this won't work for me, but they did not respond. I guess I'll have a set of jumbo grips that are useless. Thanks, TGW. Glad I spent $1100+ on custom clubs and you tried giving me the run around. Terrible customer service and won't be ordering from TGW again.

So I contacted tgw to see if they would match the same offer keep in mind it was the same price. So instead of doing the right thing is now I will have to return my clubs and take my money else were. Also the box was open when it got delivered.
Date of experience: May 15, 2020I bought a putter and the insert was too soft so I sent it back and got a refund. OK so I bought another putter, didn't work for me either. I sent back that one and they refuse to give me a refund, just store credit. I complained and they said the shipping department claims there was damage to the putter head. They do not know I took very high definition pictures of the whole putter and it shows PERFECT condition. If I have to take them to small claims court I will. BIg corporations think the can push anyone around but I will not be intimidated. TGW, never again.
Tip for consumers:Don't because there are many honest golf retailers on the internet. TGW is not one of them.
Products used:I bought two model putters, neither one worked for me. I have no golf shop open near me to try these out so I have to purchase them to try. TGW has gaven me refunds in the past. They have made up stories about this purchase and claim the club was damaged when returned thus refusing me a refund, just an exchange. I felt bad about sending one just after trying a different putter and was gong to sell it on eBay. Thus the pictures. However since I paid retail, shipping and tax I decided to just return it to TGW. Never again. Since 2001 I have over 700 positive feedbacks with eBay w/o one negative showing I am a honest person. These pictures a like new putter w/o and damage anywhere. It provesTGW will lie to save a few dollars.

I have not had to return any item so I can't comment on that process. I will be ordering again when they have their sales and I find something I like.
Date of experience: November 17, 2020During the past month I've submitted 8 separate golf club orders to TGW (4 shipments pending). The first two arrived as promised. The 3rd order arrived without the fairway wood head cover while the 4th order arrived without the adjusting tool for the driver head. Customer Service (CS) was very courteous and informed me the head cover would be shipped from the vendor. Two weeks later no cover and another call to CS and was informed, a tracking number would be provided when shipped. I did not agree and requested a return...wasted two days before CS informed me they could not send a return label for orders from Hawaii. I paid USPS to ship the club and sent a copy of the receipt to CS...was informed I would receive a refund for the shipment plus refund for the club when received. This is all pending as of Jan 29,2023. Regarding the missing tool...CS stated I could return the club if the warehouse could not ship the tool...pending warehouse decision as of 29 Jan. Obviously TGW has a quality control problem in their warehouse/shipping areas and this has caused me a boat load of butt pain, wasted time, and tied up hundreds of $ on my credit card. I may update this review when the remaining orders are received.
Tip for consumers:Ask CS to confirm your order is complete before shipping...get it in writing! Have a witness available to record opening your package just in case. Watch you credit card charge...I was charged before the orders were shipped. I must add, TGW's Customer Service was cordial, seemed concerned about my issues, and willing to assist. HOWEVER, they never followup on pending issues....at least in my cases.
Products used:Two of the four initial order (golf clubs). One order returned and one order return pending. Result of refund also pending.
