They sent contacts that I found to be defective. All are for the same eye. They won't replace them because of being outside 30 days but there is no reasonable way for me to know they are defective in advance because I cant open them until I am actually wearing them.

Date of experience: December 14, 2024I got a nice cash back from Capital One on my order with free shipping. A few weeks later I wanted to look at my account and couldn't get into the site. They have a telephone verification where the site is supposed to send a 6 digit code to proceed. The site never did send a code. I tried all the.options available checked all my info but could not get the site to acknowledge. I then called customer service and couldn't reach anyone. I gave 2 stars because I got good cash back with free shipping from Capital One. They were quick and managed to get my order right. Since the site was being all temperamental with me I checked some of my other credit cards merchant offers and see there are a few other outfits giving good cash back. Since the site won't let me in I will do business elsewhere.
Date of experience: November 19, 2024After talking to different reps and explaining how desperate I was to receive the lenses Asap, - as they have been my primary corrective device for 40 years- no one informed me the fedex 2 day option and I've been waiting for 2 + weeks using "expedited" service. My vision with glasses is blurry due to astigmatism and my driving unsafe. Some one should have offered that option after I called repeatedly to find out why they had not arrived in 3 to 4 days. Outrageous. Never again. Poorly run company with inferior customer service.
Date of experience: July 30, 2020This is the second time it has taken them more than a week to ship my contact lens order. No product could be easier to pack and ship and yet it takes them a full week to get these out. It's infuriating. Other online lens retailers are much faster, so I won't be using Discount Contact Lenses again.
Tip for consumers:Plan for at least a week for your order to even ship.

Date of experience: July 5, 2022Shortly after ordering my contacts, I got an email that what I ordered was out of stock and would be delayed by 5 to 7 business days. However, when I called to check, it was going to take much longer. They were unwilling to change my order to boxes with a different quantity for the same price. I ASKED if it was too late to cancel, and the response I received was, "Your order has been canceled. The email has been sent." Customer service people were rude and not helpful. I would never trust this company to get your contacts to you in a timely fashion and they just don't care.

Date of experience: April 3, 2023Discount Contact lenses sent me a new order after USPS lost the delivery. Spent a week dealing with the post office, so I emailed the company. No hassle, nothing more than two emails. They sent out the new order the evening of. Just be nice to the service staff, and they'll be nice to you. And some issues might be with the post office, and not with them. I had a good experience.
Date of experience: September 10, 2020When you order your lenses, it says you will get them in 2-3 days. Immediately after you pay, you get another email saying oh gosh, we don't have your lenses maybe you'll get them in 10 days.
Even after 10 days, they still hadn't sent them.
Never got them, ended up cancelling the order

Date of experience: January 9, 2023I uploaded multiple perscriptions on 1 image, as they don't allow you to add multiple images, and they only read one of them and denied the rest. My order was stuck in limbo for a week as they couldn't figure out that I have multiple perscriptions on one image. I could not even cancel the order, and customer support never responded to my multiple emails with each image separated and extremely detailed explanation. NEVER AGAIN

Doctor? I replied "Why? I don't understand. I provided the prescription
From my doctor's office." Again no reply from the customer service rep.
So I just told her to cancel my order. This was a horrible experience
And now I'm out of luck with having my contacts by the time I needed
Them. I have yet to receive my refund so I can't say whether or not they
Are forth coming with refunding your money. I will update if I receive
