I do not recommend Converse products due to the unpleasant experience I had with their products. I ordered 2 pairs of Converse from two different websites, Zalandos and Converse, and both arrived defective with excess glue or unglued, with deformed material. Unfortunately, the customer service is not up to the standards of this famous brand. Unfortunately, money matters more and not the quality of the services offered. They have no respect for customers. I am very disappointed with them and their approach and will not buy their products again for any of my family members. I will let know to all my friends about this bad experience.

Date of experience: May 24, 2024You know those companies that go out of their way to make a happy customer? Converse is 100% not one of them. I'm a financially insecure disabled vet, gifted a pair of brand new, classic Chuck Taylor All-Stars. I saw they offer wide sizes on their website, which would fit my sturdy base. For a huge company with a giant stock of shoes, an even exchange wouldn't hurt anyone, it'd make me happy, and keep me as a customer in the future. Sounds great, right? Nope! Not to Converse... Since I didn't purchase from their website, they won't do an even exchange. Crazy they'd rather lose a customer for life than simply do an exchange.

Date of experience: May 2, 2024My shoes started falling apart after a few months. I made a warranty claim and they rejected it for no reason. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau and converse never bothered to respond so the case was closed without resolution.

Date of experience: March 30, 2024I'm quite disappointed. I bought a pricey pair of Converse shoes three months ago for my daughter, and they've already started to tear from the side. They should make it clear to the customers that these shoes may only last up to three months. When you reach out to the customer service their reply would be "We are sorry the shoes do not qualify for a warranty for flaws in the manufacture.".

No one is attending to my query and the status of my order is "complete" on their system. Lack of communication is frustrating, assuming they don't have stock, they should refund me then. Date of experience: December 14, 2023Ordered 11/28 during Cyber Sales event. No delivery dates displayed. Checked next day, site message said "Order by 11/29 for guaranteed Delivery by Dec. 24th". Thought I was fine. Then received delivery email saying 12/19. Great news! Except I tracked the order with UPS and a label had not even ben created until 12/12, and that was in Viet Nam (where these shoes are made). By 12/21, shoes had made it to Hong Kong. Needless to say, Xmas missed, gift ruined. I would not be upset by the late delivery if Converse were simply accurate and truthful. I suspect they give "optimistic" delivery updates so that you will take receipt and then may decide not to go through return hassle. This makes them more money than if they told you upfront order would be late, so you could cancel outright.

Date of experience: December 21, 2023Me and my cousin ordered custom converse august 2021 we were told that they would get sent within a month and they never sent them at all and blamed it on the shipping. It has been 2 years and they are still telling me it's the shipping. For spending so much money on these shoes I wish I were able to wear them. Don't order anything online from this company if you live in Canada or anywhere, the customer service was no help and if you are going to spend over $100 on shoes I'd spend it else where.

Date of experience: December 30, 2023Ordered a pair of shoes for granddaughter. Waited for shoes to ship. When checking tracking info, see that package was delivered to a UPS Access Point. No notification to me or anything. Converse does it care that order was not delivered to me…said once it leaves then it is UPS responsibility. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Never ordered before that package was shipped to someplace other than me and no knowledge of delivery!

Date of experience: December 11, 2023This is to disappointing! After waiting more than a month for my order, I received yesterday an email from you saying "your converse return has been completed". I didn't ask for it.
I've called you this morning and you said that it was UPS fault because the order went to a storage in Maia and no one told me. I've called ups then and they said it's your fault because I NEVER received and email form them. Converse didn't put my email address. I nor even knew that the company was UPS. Never received anything from them because converse didn't informed them about my email address.
Conclusion: I LOST MY ORDER AND NO ONE ASSUME THE RESPONSIBILITY
AND THE RESPONSIBILITY IS YOUR: converse

Date of experience: April 17, 2024I received a pair of Converse shoes as a gift for Christmas and wanted to return them as they are not my style and I cannot wear shoes with no arch support. I had no idea where these were originally purchased and did not want to alert the gift giver that I was not thrilled with them, so I contacted Converse as the manufacturer. I chatted with an agent that was perfectly pleasant only to find out they cannot do returns without a receipt or order number. Additionally, they can only refund to the original payment method. When asked what they do for gift returns, she gave me no alternative and when I stated I was unable to get the receipt or order number, she told me they were unable to process a return as they don't know that the shoes were purchased from the website. They're brand new Converse shoes, how can I not return them to the manufacturer for store credit at the very least. I was very willing to take whatever lowest price they had been at, which is typical of no receipt returns to other stores, but I was provided zero options. I will not be shopping at Converse ever due to this ridiculous policy.
Tip for consumers:Their actual refund policy is only 45 days in-store, 60 online - only if you have the receipt or order number. Any other version of a return is not accepted.

Have fallen apart within one year of wearing. The sole separates or comes unglued. I used to pay $20.00
Max for a pair of these shoes that would last years.That was when I was very active playing high school sports etc.
Now I pay 60.00 dollars for shoes that fall apart when I wear them casually a few times a week. Shame on Nike for moving production from the United States to China,India,Vietnam & Indonesia ruining an iconic American shoe! Needless to say, I will never buy a pair of Chuck's again. That makes me mad!

I usually don't order my converse online and was worried, since one of the pairs is white, that they could potentially come with marks but they are PERFECT. They are a half size bigger so I'm glad I did research before ordering because they fit and look great! I highly recommend ordering from their site cause there were no issues with my order and I was always notified when the status of the order changed.

Date of experience: May 30, 2022Converse come in all colors, sizes and designs, these shoes hold good comfort once broken into, If they are your everyday shoe like mine, they last 12-24 months which is wonderful, 35$ - $200 This high price is due to designers, The ones im wearing are $65, they are my favorite shoe brand due to durability, you can wear them with anything, (Including a dress)
The durability of these shoes further extends to suede, leather, and cotton canvas with metal hardware.
Converse are indeed vegan friendly. All of its shoes are made with non animal processed glues, inks and adhesives.
In conclusion Converse are highly recommended from me to you, they are very creative and are very good skater shoes.

Because of work and the business of life I didn't check the package until we were getting ready to pack for vacation. While packing, I realized that I received the wrong size shoes. They send a size 8.5 instead of 7.5
I kindly asked for an exchange, but this was futile since their 30 policy has expired.
Please check your package promptly, making sure you receive exactly what you've ordered, because this is a company that believes that they are right and the customer is wrong. I hope this helps

They arrived horribly creased, bent and wrinkled. Not acceptable for how much was paid for the shoes. There was no receipt or invoice/statement contained in the box.

The same pair would last for a couple of years of every day wear. But this last pair i got sucks. They are flimsy. They are super light and the heel cup is non existent and they are made out of some synthetic thin material not canvas. I'm sad too say i don't think i'll buy converse again

I ordered the correct size, but when I received the product, the sizes were huge. When I tried to return the shoes, I was informed that I had to pay for shipping to Montreal, which I calculated to be over $40. Poor customer service during these times. Date of experience: May 6, 2021I purchased two pair of Converse All Stars at a mall store not a Converse store/outlet. I haven't worn high tops in MANY years but due to a fractured ankle I decided to try them for the extra support. Both pair look the same on the outside but looks are deceiving. One pair has a tongue lock (Navy) but the other pair (Electric Purple) doesn't. Shoe laces weren't the same length. One pair is canvas (Navy) and the other (Electric Purple) feels like it has very light padding. I called Customer Service for an explanation and the rep was very polite but couldn't tell me why there was a difference. They have different style numbers but one pair couldn't be found on their website. Converse needs to post an in depth comparison chart for their different model sneakers so consumers can know the differences and their reps need to be able to access it. Oh, the people in the store were no help AT all.

I remember the first time I felt in love with a pair of Converse (Avril Lavigne looked good wearing them and my "punk" phase was starting haha!) and from that moment, I have collected many pairs of their shoes. I don't want to throw the old ones away, so my closet it's like a museum of shoes I don't use because they are too old. I currently wear the ones without laces. Those make my life easier and practical now
