These people are a bunch of thieves, I bought a Little Red Riding Hood costume for my daughter. What was advertised and what I received was 2 different things. The outfit she received can't be used and this was for a class project, it's made from a cheap looking material and poor workman. I will never purchase from this site again. Please don't waste your money buying from them. Total cons.
Date of experience: February 12, 2017Ordered the adult T Rex inflatable costume on Sept 23, got 10% off, did not receive a confirmation email so after reading all the bad reviews I was concerned and clicked the 'contact us' link on their page. I received an email back apologizing within 24 hours along with my confirmation and tracking number. The estimated deliver was Oct 3, I received my costume on Sept 30.
Date of experience: October 1, 2016This was a f*#$+8G joke! I work hard for my money and they had no problem taking it with a GUARANTEED arrival date. Its in black and white and when I called on that date they told me i would receive a full refund... in 5 days. So I called now because it's been 6 days. Immediately ask to speak to the manager. And do you know she told me she was going to process my refund now. They had only issued a refund of $7. So i then said" What about 6 days ago when I was guaranteed my refund in 5 days. Even got an email so it's documented this is liable for a lawsuit." And she LAUGHED and said "yea OK ma'am ". I had four disappointed children that love dressing up with their parents. And now this place has my money. THIEVES. I guarantee a following lawsuit.
Date of experience: November 4, 2015Disgusted with this company. Ordered a costume and selected not to pay the extra for express delivery so was expecting to wait 10 business days to receive it. Received it 3 days later. Sizing was WAY it so retuned it and silly me, bought the smaller size, again received in 3 days though did not request express delivery. Company paid me back about a third of what I spent. When I chased them up I was told they didn't receive the original costume. I provided them with the tracking number and proof they had received it and they're now saying refund is for cost of goods only, trying to imply that part of the cost was for shipping. Unbelievable. Taking this further.
Date of experience: December 10, 2015Not sure what everyone problem is. I purchased a Darth Vader Supreme costume from them on 03/17/216. It arrived 03/19/2016. I measured my self and ordered the costume based on my measurements. It arrived exactly as I ordered and fit really nice. Nothing was broken or damage. I even talked to the customer service rep on 03/18/2016 to verify they had received my order. She was very polite and curious. I will definitely be doing business with them again... The only issue I have is this costume came from Rubies. I HATE Rubies stuff with a burning passion and their stuff is cheap and crap. I ordered from them to avoid Rubies, but it still said Rubies on the box. I was really scared and nervous, there are some very cheap things on this costume. The gloves and belt are not very solid. That is why I'm giving them 4 out of 5 stars.

Date of experience: October 20, 2017If I could give this company zero stars I would. I ordered a Halloween costume in medium and instead of stating we have none in stock they sent me Extra Large. The reason why I know this as the person on the phone told me they have not had medium stock for a long time. If they have done this to me I am sure they have done this with many others. Taking this to it logically conclusion they are only doing this in the hope you do not complain about it or make do with the one they sent you. Horrible company... please if you want good service and the right item use another company!
Date of experience: October 25, 2017If I could give them 0 I would! I ordered a custom on October 22 and it'll be with me on 26, because of Halloween they don't accept returns after the 24th! What should I do that get my order on the 26th?!
They were like you can return it after November 1st and the shipping is on you which is about $13 and 12% restocking! What the hell! Don't buy from them! Horrible mistake!

I was told that my order was cancelled because they no longer had my costume. It's ridiculous that I had to contact them to find out. I never received anything from them regarding the status of my order. Unprofessional!

Everyone time I call they immediately say there is a bad phone connection and they have to call me back and again they say they still have a bad phone connection. I have no clue how they conduct their business. They sent me my order number and it was wrong.

Went To check out online and found out there is only one Shipping option Economy $33.00 (this is not expedited shipping) - I Thought this must be a website error, so I called customer service - Customer Service said nope we only offer that one shipping option no matter what you buy - So I said BYE BYE and good luck
Tip for consumers:I am sorry they chose to go the route of high delivery cost, but I found another Costume store same products, shipping cheaper and guaranteed satisfaction

My order was supposed to arrive 4 days ago, and I have yet to get a response to my emails or a confirmation of cancellation. There are too many other companies who actually do what they promise to even bother with this one. NEVER again!

Paid the expedited shipping cost of $30 and it meant nothing but more money for them. My kid had to wear last years costume and my other kids costume remained incomplete. I am so glad that the red flag popped in my head. The costume and delivery costs were too good to be true. Thank you all for honest reviews. That stress I don't need on top of three costume-less kids.

I am not sure where customer support is from because all they know how to say is "Your order will arrive by the guaranteed day" even if the guaranteed day was a week ago and your order still shows it is being processed. And when you try to ask a question more complex than knowing the delivery day they hang up on you. Online chat is the same. I have never dealt with a worse company than this. Please do not buy from this company because I "guarantee" you will regret it.
Date of experience: October 26, 2015If I could rate this company less then 1 star I would. I place an order but then received a call saying my card number was incorrect. I called them and they offered to take the order over the phone after many failed attempts with "bad communication." After about 40 minutes of her taking my card number (wrong every time) she then said she had to start the whole process over because the system timed out. Awful customer service. My sister also placed an order not only did she get the wrong size but now the costume was out of stock they only offered to give a refund once they receive the costume back and could not even offer to expedite another one once it was available. They refused to put a manager or supervisor on the phone. I have never had business with such cases unprofessional people. I'm 100% dissatisfied and will report them to the better business bureau. Offering to refund money is not the "best you could do" it's the least you could do and they can't even seem to get that right. Waste of time, energy and money.

Date of experience: October 23, 2015I ordered a costume over 1 month prior to Halloween, and was given a delivery date of early October. Upon calling them after the delivery date had past, receiving another delivery date because of "issues with inventory", calling them again after the next delivery date had past "because of a mix-up due an overwhelming volume of orders", and yet again due to "problems with our distribution center" I was told 4 days prior Halloween that I would not receive my costume, "we don't want to disappoint you". I stuck it out with them because my son really wanted that particular costume and I (mistakenly) had faith that this business would deliver as they had repeatedly "promised". Find another costume website to order from. Their service is horrible!

You will wait on hold for an hour minimum only to speak English to a non speaking English person, who only hangs up on you!

I had a cart of 3 things, went through all of the information to purchase it and hit *pay, then got an error message saying *payment failed. Okay, so i check all of my information again, and hit *pay one more time. Said *payment failed again. So i just cancelled my order and called it a night. A couple hours later get a notification from my card company that i had been charged TWICE! I am so livid right now with this company that this place deserves 0 stars just lie all of the reviews say. Why would this even happen! That is $140 just taken from me basically! And did i mention i never received an order # or any type of email either?! They stole from me, so don't let them steal from you too.

Gave me trouble for refund, after I paid for express shipping to receive my item on Halloween it did not come and they did not let me know that it was in fact never gonna come! Put me on hold many times didn't care about how upset this made me and lied to me about sending me the items for free just to get me off phone

Date of experience: October 31, 2015I've ordered costumes from their site for the past four years and have always been extremely pleased with their fast shipping and quality. This year I ordered a costume on October 16th and when it still hadn't been shipped on the 23rd I emailed them with no response. I emailed the 26th as well, no response. The 27th I called and sat on hold for about 15 minutes and finally talked to someone who said they couldn't guarantee I would get my costume for the 31st. I cancelled and had to scramble to find another costume. They're still sending me emails saying "Order last minute!"... Why say that when you can't even ship out the orders you had from the middle of the month? Very disappointed.
