This website has a wider variety of poster content than other websites. They were also having a sale, so I seized the moment to get all the content I've wanted ever since I was a kid. I was able to get unique Japanese content and vintage maps. My most recent purchase was a large, framed world map, but I didn't ask for any special treatment or cropping, so we'll see how it goes. But so far, for all of the standard 18 x 12 inch posters, I have 0 complaints on the quality or condition in which they came delivered. The only minor inconvenience I've experienced was having to wait about a week for the purchases to be delivered, but that's not a big deal. The quality of their pieces can certainly be obtained locally for WAY Cheaper. They charge almost double the price of the product for shipping fees, which will be sent separately for them to charge/make more money on each item. And because they ship from Ohio they charge extra duties and taxes before you can receive your delivery. I paid $200 for a framed work that had white fluff on the inside of the glass and looked like a grade 8 art class put it together. They show you nice brightly colored, great previews of what you THINK your print will look like when you shell out the extra money for framing, only to receive an incredibly disappointing dull representation of what you paid for. It nearly borders on false advertising. Yes, the design and size were as advertised, but the color is falsely represented. Tip for consumers:Buyer beware. If you aren't concerned with color accuracy, the designs and frames are advertised. They are reasonably priced, well-done, arrived promptly by Fedex. I highly recommend them. I have never had a problem with any of their posters. The only thing to mention is that it is easy to obtain a 50% discount and I would not order at full price. They have a related company art.com that sells pretty similar items, sometimes at different prices. It pays to compare. I have not had things framed by them so that I can only comment on the prints mounted on boards, a process which I really like. Prices are decent, but I think their framing costs are a little high. I was able to get an art student at the local community college to frame my posters for much less. Date of experience: December 19, 2007I ordered a canvas poster on a mount from Allposters recently. The poster looks good but is mounted only on a rigid frame, not on a board. It came with a hanging wire attached to the frame but the wire is quite stretchy and is fixed too high on the frame so that the picture hook is visible above the poster when it is hung. Once delivery costs of £21 are added, the overall cost of the poster seems quite expensive. However, the delivery was very prompt and well-telegraphed and the item was well packaged.
