After I decided to purchase, I was transferred to Amazon to complete it. Then the headaches began. Received a box damaged from the inside, not outside abuse. The laptop was packed into an empty box, with NO PACKING MATERIAL! I reported this to Amazon immediately who had me check it out and then had me return the item for a refund after finding it totally non-functional. It has taken 5 weeks of back and forth before they even attempted a refund, still waiting for it to hit the bank. If the refund ever gets to the bank. I had to file complaints with the State Attorney General to get any cooperation and response from execs at Amazon and action. Finally got a positive statement that the refund was processed 4 days after filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). That got me action in place of the constant battle with Customer Service who demanded a photo ID or Driver's License or Passport before considering a refund! If the refund ever gets to the bank. They have the device! Imagine an online wanting a picture ID for verification like an in-person store! Beware of the subtle Invasion of Privacy and the intrusive tactics used, alleging "... abnormal activity in your account, or unusual activity with your account." Check the latest Amazon Terms and Conditions, they collect a massive amount of data on you automatically, from your location to following your devices and you. WOW, a page and a half of items are listed on their Data Collected page! They have no shame in creating scenarios to justify and rationalize their action. Now, they are claiming I damaged the laptop.
