I bought a pair of Timberland Boots and on my first hike the soles came off of both boots! Customer service was very uncooperative and would not repair or replace the boots, nor would they refund the money I spent on the extremely poor quality boots. I just purchased a pair of timberland Jaynes. I ordered size 8. I have pretty small feet, what they sent me was,I don't know like a 4. Way too small, sent them back, ordered another pair. Timberland just sent me any old pair, ordered nubuck, size 8.5 just to be sure, got gray and brown two tone things, again way too small. I needed workboots, for work! I can't keep sending back all these screw ups. Plus my refund hasn't gone through yet. WTH! I'm going to Carolinas. Timberland sucks.
I will never waste money on another pair of timberlands. I had to cut off my pair of timberland pro composite toe because they wouldn't come off my feet
The inside material ripped apart after two weeks, the inside soles dyed my socks yellow. Tried to return twice, they said it's my fault. Tip for consumers:Do not buy! Products used:Shoes
I get all my hiking boots from Timberland! I know they're not always the most stylish, but my boots last a long time and are really waterproof and comfortable which is all I really care about. Excellent for camping or any outdoor activity.
Absolutely terrible customer service at Oxford Westgate. I bought sandals in London and wore them for less than 20 minutes in Oxford. They caused terribly painful blisters on my both feet. I called the store in Oxford, explained the situation in detail and they said they would offer a refund. This afternoon I had a very unpleasant 25 minutes with the manager and assistant. The latter said these were 'just blisters' and they could not violate the company policy of offering no refunds after shoes have been work outdoors, even if they had caused bodily harm. Horrible product and even worse customer service. Trust the poor reviews here here and avoid Products used:Timberland Malibu Waves Women's Ankle Strap Sandal Service Value Returns Quality
Sole came unglued on first 6 mile hike. This is my third pair of Timberland boots over the years Adhesive they are using now is crap. Service Value Quality
I am writing the following as a warning to others. A few years ago I purchased a pair of Timberland Boat Shoes (******* style) and since they were not cheap, I intended to wear them only on special occasions. To that end, I have always stored them in their original box in a cupboard at home. I reckon they have not been worn more than twenty times altogether. They still look like new as you will see from the attached photos. Recently my daughter bought me a new pair of Timberland BS's and so I decided to wear my "old ones" more often. Fast forward to a week ago whereupon on walking out of the house, I realised something felt wrong and could see that the left shoe sole has almost completely de-laminated and it looks like the bond between two layers of the sole has failed. On examination, the other shoe is also showing signs of failing the same way. Needless to say I am very disappointed/annoyed since I have always kept them in such good condition. They were were purchased from a reputable store, Jones Bootmaker, The Oracle Centre, Reading, Berks. They are obviously outside their normal warranty period however I don't think its reasonable for expensive shoes to fail in this way. I have tried four times to contact Timberland but have not received a reply! Service Value Quality
I purchased nubuc splitrock 2 hiking boots 4 months ago and at this point they have degraded to tramp standard. The stitching at the back on BOTH PAIRS tore and the side ankle cushioning began to badly fray. I contacted Timberland Customer services and they had the audacity to call it wear and tear! Advertised as premium hiking boots Degrade that badly in only 4 months! £130 cost price Avoid Timberland like the plauge if you want value for money. I have never seen worse shoes in the world. I had bought the shoes 2 months ago it broke in 2 months and above all company people also did not help they are saying that they broke because of your wear. Service Value
Honestly the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Took my money, 10 days later sent an email saying the order had been cancelled with no explanation. When I contacted them they told me it was either that the product was out of stock or there was a payment issue, but they didn't know why. The website still shows my product in stock and they had my money so neither are correct. A week later and I'm still arguing with customer service who won't send my product and won't send my refund! Order the shoe again because it was very comfortable, They lasted almost two years, order again the same kind, they changed the insole of the shoe with a cheaper one very uncomfortable. Not going to buy again.
I've got a pair of Timberland Boots (Grey with orange trim n inside) last winter. Trust me with the latest polar vortex and snow, these puppies not only are comfortable, but they keep my feet warm and dry on long hikes. Sure, they may cost a lil more but its worth it. Keep on hiking! Products used:Hiking Boots Value Quality
Purchased Timberland boots for my son for work. They didn't even last a month. And they won't refund them. Horrible customer service! Horrible work boots! Value Returns
They give you a 12 month warranty because that is all they will last. My sole started coming off after 9 months. That was on my first pair but I figured well they were warm and water proof so this year I tried them again. Not even 6 months and they are falling apart. I work for a living and I will never by this crap again. No pictures I through them away. If I could give them less than 1 star I would.
Bought this crossbody bag from Timberland use as my weekend bag and the sling torn within a month. Disappointed in Timberland bag quality. Will avoid Timberland products in future.
Timberland, such a cheap company. I ordered a pair of 150$ boots wore them around the block, returned them for the next size larger only to have the boots I wore around the block returned to me saying they would not take them as a return because they have a no boots worn return policy. On top of that, when I re-entered the timberland website, they are now providing a slightly worn for sale department. What kind of scum does this? Totally a scam. Having said that I do like the product. Moral of the story is that the boots are good, be very wary of trying to return for a different size to these scammers. Tip for consumers:Moral of the story is that the boots are good, be very wary of trying to return for a different size to these scammers. Products used:Boots Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
My little used shoes literally fell apart. The soles on each shoe detached from the upper on the same day. Timberland refused to offer any compensation or admit liability. Avoid like the plague! Tip for consumers:How poor the quality was likely to be in advance of purchase. Products used:Shoes Service Value Returns Quality
I had a pair of Timberland boots and and a pair of shoes, both very comfortable while the lasted. The soles of the boots just disintegrated. Literally turned to powder. The shoes just lost their soles. They fell off. Apparently they are designed to last for a year or less. I would never recommend Timberland shoes to anyone! Tip for consumers:Don’t buy Timberland. They’re expensive and very cheaply made. Products used:Honestly I prefer Cole Hahn shoes. They’re much better quality and they stand behind their products. Service Value Returns Quality
Some people claim out here that their shoes are uncomfortable, they cause corns and other stuff, but I trust the brand because I wear their shoes from the late fall till the early spring. I buy different models, as I have both classical Timbs for gloomy weather, and some others that are more of sport style. I ain't care much about what others say, as they perfectly suit my style and don't cause any corns as guys share here. Maybe it's better to choose the right size more thoroughly.
I have been whereing the timberland shoe brand for seven years know I like the shoes I am haveing the problem. The newest pair I have the soul is coming off on the toe and the heal. I am a mechanic for a living so I am on my feet all day.not sure what problem is. Products used:Boots Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
Had two pairs of there pretend boots and the soles detached from the uppers the moment they saw a forest. Made for softy city boys only.
I ordered a pair of boots from timberland, even after looking at all the reviews from people. I've always had good experience buying timberlands, and today, 10 years after ordering my last pair and the quality and packaging is still top notch. Tip for consumers:Look for the good sales first. They did not stand behind their warranty. Offered a $30 e-gift card. Why would I purchase another Timberland product. They did not stand behind the boots that fell apart. A product is only as good as the company that stands behind it. When I filed a claim Timberland did not stand behind it. Buyer beware. The boots wore out in a few months. They basically fell apart on the inside. Service Value
Comfortable shoes but didn't hold up on hikes... bottoms are glued on and fell apart after a few good hikes. Do not recommend the brand.
