    Did a return for "store credit" and have heard nothing. Wrote them from their site (so I don't have a record of time and dates in my own mail) and still nothing. I'll try calling. If I get a credit, I'll order something else to use it up, but will never order from them again. I like Abeo, but not this much.     This is the worse company, do not do business with them! My shoes i ordered were to big, want to return. Called them to no Avail. I then emailed them and get an email response, we will be checking into it. Have not heard from them to answer my questions except I received an email to rate someone named Donnie that I never talked to or emailed, so I gave him a terrible review.     I returned a pair of shoes that didn't fit. Once they received my item, I waited the stated amount of time for my return to be processed, but never heard anything. I called customer service and was told "sometimes you have to call to request to have your return processed," and that they would take care of it right then, but it may be another 14 days for my money to be credited back to my card, which they tried to blame on my bank. From the day they received my return to when I finally received my refund was more than a month. Tip for consumers:Nearly impossible to get your money back for a refund.     Ordered shoes over 3 weeks ago and still no arrival. No one can tell me when they will arrive although it's already too late for the wedding I bought them to wear. Waited over 30 min for someone in customer service to pick up and no one ever did. Have no idea if I will ever get my 3 pairs of shoes. Watch out.
    Company refunded my order "at my request" (a lie—I never requested this), even though the shoe was still in stock. They just wanted me to pay for it at a $40 markup price. Ridiculous.     I ordered a pair of shoes and returned it for an exchange. 3 weeks has gone by and the exchange was never sent to me. I email to inquire and no one responded. I called and waited on hold for over an hour when the estimated time was 8 minutes. The Representative agreed to do a return of my funds less $10. When I disagreed with the refund amount the Representative began to laugh and say that I should have read the exchange policy. I will never buy from The Walking Company again.     This place is the worst for buying shoes. They lie about their easy return policy. They never have sizes needed, they make you pay to insure a safe delivery so it is NOT free, takes forever to get your items, sizes always wrong. Tip for consumers:DO NOT SHOP HERE! Shop Zappos or Amazon where they take care of customers. These people give lip service but do nothing to help you except process a label for returns. They're merchandise is also OLD and also OVER priced. Products used:NON because 2 pairs of shoes had inaccurate descriptions and 2 times bigger than normal size (not an uncommon complaint on the website), they lie about free shipping and easy free returns (you have to pay to insure you GET your items) so had to use a credit because they would not give money back, spent 3 hours trying to find shoes on their slow website and found nothing in stock or that wasn't overpriced or per other sites, inaccurately described.     I patiently waited for 3 pair of sandals - they finally sent an email that they were delivered. Clicked the fedex link to find they were delivered to someone else's house. Fedex was absolutely useless - telling me they had the gps location for them but refusing to go get them, tell me where they were so I could go get them, or give me any estimate at all of when they would deliver them. All this time, the Walking Co completely ignored my emails alerting them to the problem. It's been 3 days noe and not one word from them. I told fedex to send the shoes back when they retrieve them and opened a dispute with my credit card company. I will never wear abeo again - they are owned by The Walking Co.     Ordered a pair of running shoes on 8/22/23... still haven't received them. It appears that paypal was my only option. I received an invoice from Richmond Towers International and a paypal confirmation email that someone named Patti Pastega got the money. Still no shoes. Big scam
    I am disappointed with this product of shoes. The inside cushion part on both left and right shoes completely ripped causing painful blisters on the inside of my feet. I would not recommend someone buying these expensive shoes, I wish I could return them and get my money back or a new pair.     I bought a pair of orthotics for $79.00 from The Walking Company order "#WK-*******" after wearing them for a short time I realized they hurt my bunions. A return can only be done if the product is unused in original packaging. ( So keep that in mind) How can you know they will hurt without taking them out of the package. They are also made in China.
    Beware when ordering from WalkindCo (The Walking Company). They advertise free shipping and easy returns. They add $2.95 to the order for route protection. If you return an item, there is a $10 fee for a return label. Would you pay $13 for the privilege of trying on a pair of shoes in a shoe store? Tip for consumers:Look out for extra fees.     I ordered sandals in June 4th, a label was created June 9th and still no further activity! The site states "shipping within 5-7 days". I have written and called and was told they could not give me an arrival date but credited my account for $20. I wanted to cancel the order and get a total refund but was told that was not possible! How ridiculous that they can credit and not refund. Today I still have no confirmation of shipping and NO sandals. Next step will be a call to credit card company to file a dispute.     I bought a pair of Maddie, size 7.5, but they were way too big, I reordered size 7, still too big so asked for a refund. I received a confirmation from walkingco to acknowledge the refund. After checking multiple times with my bank I never received the refund. Walkingco says it's my bank problem not their fault. This is very unprofessional and I will never order from this company again.
    Last early July I received two pairs of shoes in different shipments. One box was very beat up. I tried on both shoes and they were way too wide so I couldn't even stand in them so I put them both back in their boxes and contacted the company. Since it was the first time I had ordered from them on line they gave me one label to shop both back together for free. I put them in the mail that same day. 6 weeks later I got a message that they are refunding me for the cheaper pair but not the $109.95 pair because they said "I had worn them". When I called them back and explained there must be a mistake because I did not wear them they just said that I did and refused to give my money back. I reported them to the BBB ( where there were many more complaints) and the company sent the shoes back to me ( which I can't wear and do not want). This is not the same company it used to be ( I have bought many shoes from the store of this name over the years but that store was sold to an investment company who obviously tries to dump trash shoes on someone and keeps your money). I have talked to other people from their company and they have all said the same thing… they are keeping my money because I wore the shoes!Do not buy from this company.     I have order from abeo for years. Have foot issues and the balboa flip-flop was the perfect solution. So figured the Maddie would be similar. Boy was I wrong! Shoe was not even close to the picture of the one I ordered. Alittle big and the arch support is so different than my others I have ordered. I have them ready to return but after reading these reviews maybe I can make them work for around the house. At least I have my shoes if no return will be refunded.     I ordered these shoes back in November, 2023. When I put them on and started walking in them, the skin of my big toe of my left foot was torn, and the infection is still healing.     I have been buying shoes from the Walking Co. For over 15 years. I still have and wear the first pair I bought from their store in Reno. This is a superior shoe company. Expensive? Sure is but after 15 years of wearing all the pairs I've bought from them superior is all that comes to mind. Products used:SHOES!!
