    A scam. They were unable to deliver what I ordered over 6 weeks ago. I have reached out to their customer support 5 times. Each time they either did not respond or responded with no info, e.g. "we will check". They didn't check. I contacted the courier who apparently returned the package to them because of missing information. They owe me over 100 euro. I have asked for reimbursement 3 times. Nothing.     They delivered damaged goods and for months were unable to resolve the issue nor make a refund. Customer service promised to send the damaged goods again but it never happened. Instead they kept lying that my order is "on the way". I was super patient (I appreciate the disruption that corona virus made) and waited almost 2 months (yes I mean TWO MONTHS) and guess what, no delivery, nobody bothered to even reply to my multiple messages. This company is a joke!
    Ordered some headboards which looked and felt cheap so asked to return. Several weeks later and they still haven't arranged collection. No one accountable and customer services utterly useless.     Ordered a £400 table back in dec. The table arrived defected and scratched. I reported this and expected a new one to be sent - instead I was offered £38 or a new one - I obviously asked for a new one. I am still waiting. They say they are sending someone to collect it and will send a new one once they receive this old one but they never send anyone to collect! And then emails take 5 weeks to get a response per email.     On May 9th 2022 I ordered matching bed quilt sets for my two bedrooms for a total of 601 Euro. I received part of this order in May and another part in June. To date: October 5th 2022 I have only received 2 of the 6 quilts, and 4 of the 12 cushion covers. I wrote to the company every 4 weeks over the past 6 months and was repeatedly told the items would arrive, that there were supply chain issues. On October 4th after threatening legal action I was advised I would be refunded for the missing items. I explained this was no use – I needed to return the items I had as the quilt sets were not complete and no use to me like this. I was told this was not possible. So in effect I have lost 225 euros as I can not use the partial bed Linen set. I acted in good-faith, waited more than 6 months whilst they were advising the items would be delivered. Now I learn they will not. I would strongly advise customers to avoid purchasing anything from La Redoute, I wasted months waiting and hours writing to these people – and was treated totally unfairly. Tip for consumers:They offer great value - But terrible customer service and it is unsure whether you will receive your total order, And possible you will be left with half a set of something and no refund or return option.     Awful customer service! I have spent- literally- thousands of pounds on furniture here. Two small side tables are really rubbish quality with cheap paint, marking easily, scratching easily, and showing signs of wear despite being barely used and almost brand new. I have sent photos (have more and have offered more). Customer service says I have to sent the tables back to them. I have to package the tables (with what?!), then wait for them to get to the warehouse, then have a quality team assess them, and IF they are assessed as poor quality, I'll get a refund. IF they are not, they'll be sent back to me? They also keep saying a courier is trying to contact me but I have received no voicemails or emails or texts or WhatsApp messages. Just refund the tables?! Absolutely ridiculous and I have been waiting ages for resolution. Also, need to return a rug, and even though a courier is meant to be coming, picking up from the same location and taking to the same location, I have to book and pay separately for the rug to be collected?     In France, their customer service was good. Here in the US it is catastrophic. I ordered some items last April. It took a month to have a few items delivered. The package seems to have been broken by DHL and the items were damaged or missing. I asked for reimbursement. They asked me to share the list of damaged and missing. I did that early June and write multiple email since and still don't have a reimbursement for everything. I also asked in the beginning if I could have my missing/damaged items redelivered and a compensation. The answer is NO. Don't order anything from them! Tip for consumers:don't use it!     A total sham and ripoff. I ordered an expensive bag and received the wrong colour so I emailed them about it. Got a response weeks later asking me for proof so I sent them pictures of the bag I received vs the bag I ordered and now they've been completely ignoring my emails for weeks. A total waste of money on them.
    Ordered some items in the boxing day sale but when i received the goods I was charged the full price, emailed La Redoute twice and same reply was told I must have missed the promotion which I did not and the sale is still on. If they had checked the date of the order they would have seen it was on when I ordered but maybe that is too much work for the admin staff as replies seem to be automated. I have returned the goods and will not be ordering anything again from them even though I have been a customer for the last 4 years.     You are an absolutely awful company that deserves nothing but a bad review! Customer Service sends automated replies and NOTHING GETS SORTED. I made a purchase on 18th of October, returned goods the same week and have not been refunded for 6 weeks now. I have been refunded for 3 items but I returned 5 54.11 pounds you still owe me!     What a farce of a company. Bought a desk that arrived damaged so called customer services to arrange a replacement. I was told they would arrange a courier collection (the dreaded Evri!) and that I would be refunded when it was received back. In the meantime time I had to pay for a second desk in order to get a replacement. Didn't seem right but, stupidly, I did it anyway. Well, surprise, surprise the second desk also arrived damaged! That's two broken desks and two payments! Frustratingly Evri kept failing to collect the damaged desks using various untrue reasons, eg unable to access property, collection cancelled etc (we were always home waiting for them and certainly didn't cancel anything!) I STILL have a blinking huge package containing an utterly useless desk in my house. It's in my way and, until it is picked up I can't have a refund. Despite numerous calls la redoute refuse to use a different, reliable, courier service or offer any refund because they don't yet have the desk back. If I could drop it off on the blinking doorstep - I would! Instead I have to continually wait on for arranged collections that simply never happen. Utterly appalling customer service by agents that get significantly aggressive in their response when you disagree with them. I will avoid this company like the plague in the future and urge anyone else to do the same.

They've sold us a bed with missing parts then after 2 weeks of chasing them (and sleeping on the floor), they've effectively told us it's our problem to deal with. Van de 28 latten waren er na een half jaar nog 5 heel. Opties van de klantenservice die ik kreeg waren het product omruilen voor dezelfde slechte kwaliteit (maar dan moest ik dat wel allemaal zelf overnieuw bestellen, prijsverschil van 80 euro voorschieten en dan maar hopen dat daadwerkelijk terug te krijgen) 16 euro korting of een waardebon van 40 euro bij besteding van 100 euro in hun winkel (uhmm nee dank je).     Avoid ordering from La Roudete at all costs. If you happen to be unfortunate like me and wish to return your order, you will have your money withheld from you for over 7 weeks. They will organise collections for your parcel and the courier will fail to show up. This happened 6 times, I had to make over 30 phone calls and countless emails to chase for my money back (which I am still waiting for!). I had to take annual leave on two occasions when I was told they'd be collecting between 3-5pm mid week however they never showed up. I spent £145.19 on my order and was offered two lots of £23.51 as compensation, which they have failed to pay. I am later told they do not pay compensation and just one lot of £23.51 was issued but this was just part of my refund. I have been lied to by every La Roudete representative I've spoken to with (via phone and email). When this was escalated to Sharron (La Redoute Senior Customer Experience Adviser), she lied multiple times, promising me that my refund was processed when it was wasn't. When I've chased for my refund (which at this point was 5 days late reaching my account to what Sharron said). Another representative Alison have told me it's been processed but only yesterday and for £121.68. She stated that two lots of £23.51 were processed as compensation and I will need to wait 5-7 working days, despite being told it would reach my account 2-4 days. This again seems to be a lie as Sharron has told me they do not issue any compensation (although I had been told twice that they do).     BEWARE! DO NOT SHOP HERE! I purchased curtains described as: "Put Your Set Together... This curtain is sold individually, not in pairs, which is common in Europe but less so in the UK. This is due to the wider variety of window sizes and shapes. You can simply buy as many (or as few) panels as you need, dependent upon the width of the window you are covering." From the web page for the white curtains I selected, from the dropdown menu, 5x180cm and 2x260cm to make a matching set of 7 for the 3 windows in my sunroom. They arrived in a variety of fabrics of different weights and colors; The only 4 of the 180cm match each other and the 260cm do not match each other. Despite their supposed "100% Product Satisfaction Guarantee," customer service refuses to allow me to exchange the mismatched panels for ones that do match -OR- to return the whole set for a refund (because they won't guarantee all 7 will match.) I am told by customer service I may only return them at my own expense (I pay original and return airmail from the US) because I do not have the right to expect to order different items from the collection and expect them to match.? They shipped me curtains that were represented as being sold to hang a set on my window but are not standardized, a quality control issue on their end.     La Redoute claim they offer 'French Style Made Easy'... what a joke, as the arduous battle to claim my refund demonstrates! And at the end of their cocky emails with zero effort to resolve the problem they have caused... their bog standard tagline 'at La Redoute we strive to offer an amazing customer service' - what a lie and such barefaced braseness. Sent their faulty brogues with unstuck insoles back through their Hermes service, waited weeks yet not a squeak about my refund. By the way Hermes are 100% honest and trustworthy the complete opposite of La Redoute. Told to call their chargeable helpline but why should we pay more to fight for our rightful refund that should be issued automatically as a basic customer courtesy. After weeks of emails and messages to useless cocky agents devoid of a brain cell or basic courtesy I received an email stating they had no record the brogues were returned and to send proof if I wanted my refund! Luckily I asked the Hermes courier for a stamped receipt. There was no mix up on my part as the printed returns invoice was completed and placed inside the shoe box so they know I returned them and are sitting on the shoes. This company are dishonest and cannot be trusted. They want to keep your money for faulty or unwanted items returned. Please beware and keep your receipt in evidence. 'quick, free returns' couldn't be further from the truth. I am still waiting for my refund to be deposited back into my account weeks after purchasing, they have the faulty shoes back and are still sitting on my money! There are repurable companies out there who will not send you substandard goods nor ever dream of subjecting their customers to this farcical saga. Avoid at all costs and if you are returning an item please keep your recipt as proof in evidence... guarantee you will need it!
    In the beginning of july we ordered some furniture on Laredoute.be for our new house. Delivery was due in the first week of august. When it didn't arrive, we called customer service a few times (three times in total), but all they said was that we would get a phone call from the transportation company the very next day. (as our products where ready for delivery on the 18th of July) We waited five days. Still nothing. After our forth call La Redoute claims the problem is caused by their transportation company "Relais Colis", that they could give us a due date for delivery and they discouraged us to contact the transportation firm directly to speed things up. We found this statement to be very strange, so we contacted them anyway. Relais Colis could not find our order anywhere, did have the delivery number and Was our order even processed? I'm beginning to doubt it! In online shopping you give your confidence to the shop by paying in advance. They broke that trust and it feels like our 600+ euros went up into thin air. As we don't get any concrete solutions (I even offered to go pick up the goods in their warehouse in France) I feel like we've been scammed. As I read the other reviews on TrustPilot, I get even more. They just try to sooth people by saying they are sorry, but there are no solid solutions. As a customer I don't really expect an apologie. I expect proper arrangements and adequate solutions.
    The furniture design is very beautiful and original. I made a third-time order and have a good impression of the store so far. I bought here not only furniture but also clothes for my children.

    I am rating based on the old U.S. offering that was sister to Chadwick's, years ago. Though I did have several mis-picks that had to be returned, the process was easy and no-hassle. They briefly had a childrens' fashion catalog, and I had a few successful transactions before that offering went away. I can only guess that there was not enough advertizing to make shipping to the U.S. pay off. The sizing could be a bit tricky, as at that time not everything had a conversion, but the quality and styles were such that it was worth the chance. What was weird is that the La Redoute US and Euro sites (then) offered different clothing, as if the North American market was too tired for the racier stuff overseas... and I couldn't have what they had there shipped here. HOWEVER, as of early 2012, the site was again shipping to the U.S., and it's all the same... so I'll be buying from them if shipping here continues. Welcome back, La Redoute. I missed you!
