    Never received product. Emailed company and a day later they asked via email for my feedback regarding the phone conversation I had with their employee Myasha from Jamaica. Huh? No one called me let alone did I have a convo. Sent another email. Received a reply back answering a question I never even asked. Shady as anything.     Ordered an expensive dining table in May. When i ordered they did say August. So I waited and waited. NOTHING from the company. It is October 1st- I had to beg to speak with someone and now they are telling me the product is made to order and made in Vietnam and will be here mid-late October. I won't have it then either.     I ordered 2 porcelain mugs online on 10/4. They were sale items. The order info stated they would be delivered by 10/7. I called a CB2 store to check on the reliability of the delivery date as the order was for a birthday gift on 10/8. Not a problem I was told. It will be there. Well it's not here and not anticipated to be here until 10/9. So, I heartily recommend that you think twice before parting with your money. Oh - and by the way apparently I can't get my money back until I actually receive the items - pay for the re-delivery to their warehouse and wait God knows how long for a refund check.     How many customer service people does it take to address this problem,,,4 (Ed, Jay, Kevin, Marlene). My wife ordered a pillow (order *******) at the sale price of $49.95. She was charged $79+ which was the non sale price. When the pillow didn't arrive on the promised date of 10/31, all the above team failed to respond to this problem until Marlene ordered a replacement and requested that the warehouse address the delivery as a priority. She adjusted the price to the sale price after falsely claiming that my wife placed the order before the sale started. She said this was all she could do. I have spent the good part of my day working on this and I still do not know when or if it will be delivered and the only compensation for my troubles is getting the price we intended to get in the first place.     I've experienced just about everything with CB2. Marble tables that are amazing but unpolished. Floor lamps that look nice at first glance but either lost their appeal quick or come with radio shack cords/foot controls. Decorative pieces that also mostly look better online. Backorder status on a larger than normal amount of advertised items, with the expected delivery date getting pushed back multiple times without notification. Feels like CB2 throws out a date and waits for a certain amount of product to sell before production begins. Honestly, if it weren't for the 4 marble tables I got from them propping this rating up, I'd go 2 stars. The other 2 dozen products I've bought from CB2 are more regrettable purchases a few years later that I've mostly replaced. There are just enough similar sellers occupying the same space today that offer an overall better experience.     Worst return policy and customer service I have ever experienced. Every purchase is a credit - well i don't need another rug or couch! They will never give you a refune and will not stand behind their products. One of the rugs sheds and I can't breath at night - nope, we won't take it back. Couch is off by 3" - thats normal!     Modern furniture & furnishings are my jam. CB2 got some really cool stuff. And their return is super easy too. Galfriend got me a huge table globe for Xmas one time. And the return process was super easy. Love their stuff.
    Lies, lies, lies... I placed an order of 6000 USD on the CB2 website, makings sure that everything I selected was in stock. I have been planning this purchase for several days. All the products I had in my cart where in stock and are showing as "In stock and ready to ship" at this very moment on the public product page. During checkout, I checked multiple times for the delivery dates, and everything said it would be delivered in April. I complete the order, and then get an email suddenly listing all my items as "Out of stock" expected in 6 months... I first thought this was a mistake, as even right now it says that all those items are in stock on the website. So I log into my account and check the order, and the majority of the items all say they would be delivered in 6 months. I am currently talking to support, they already referred me to 5 different agents, all saying "We are sorry that the information shown is not correct, the system doesn't seem to be up to date". Let me clarify this for you: The system is showing "Incorrect information" on the public product page. The one that customers see before they place an order. Yet, on the "Order page" on the exact same website, the information is "Up to date" and it shows that none of the products that you just orders are in stock! I made a collage showing screenshots of the product pages and the order pages of all these items to show what I mean. This isn't a mistake, this is a complete scam!     Horrible customer service, ignorant managers! The manager's name is Matthew Meyters. He has no customer interaction or skills. He thinks that he is working at a produce bazaar and selling tomatoes. I have no clue; how high-quality furniture store is keeping people like him within their team. Because of one person, I am returning all the furniture that I have purchased and never ever buy anything from there.
    CB2 has a great selection of items that mix well with vintage mid-century pieces. I found their shipping to be super slow but Im generally happy with the quality of the products. I was slightly unhappy with part of the design of one of the items I ordered and when I said as much in the review, they contacted me offering to accept a return. I did not explore whether or not they would actually allow me to return something I had installed in my home because I searched enough before buying to know nothing else out there is any better. When it came time to install one of the items, I realized a piece was missing. They may have failed to include it but its more likely it was lost in the pile of house parts that accumulated during a lengthy renovation. Regardless of who was at fault, CB2 sent me replacement components entirely free of charge. I do wish they would iron out a system for allowing CB2 returns at Crate & Barrel stores given how few physical CB2 locations there are since they expect customers to pay return shipping. In my experience, most retailers that don't have a good system to accept in-store returns take on the cost of return shipping in the interest of customer service.
    I purchased an $800 coffee table in May, scheduled to be delivered in July. I finally received it in the first week of October 2022. It is completely damaged and unassembled. The movers said that I had to schedule the return, and now I am told it would not be picked up for a week. That is right, they sold me damaged goods that I needed to store for a week. They also will not refund my $$ till they pick it up. Has anyone offered a solution? NO. It is my responsibility to take care of CB2's trash they sell as furniture.     While the products are ok, I am complaining about the packaging. Two sets of sheets came wrapped in bubble wrap. Lots of it. And there's no way to complain on their website.
    I ordered the Mangowood dinging table ("blox"), and scheduled delivery for teh exact date that I wanted. The delivery people screwed up and assembled the table in our garage and left before I could sign for it; problem was that it would not fit through any doorway into the house. I called the customer service line and within 5 days they had a new table to my home and assembled IN our dining room :) The quality is remarkable. I have ordered other pieces through them and have never been disappointed. Only issue is they are slightly overpriced and they seem to censor their reviews, which really bothers me on a different level.
    This company deserves a class action. Timelines complete bs. Upfront cash collection to keep their company with ton of cash while they forever postpone beyond already late delivery dates on the website. Purchased 5 different items.     I purchased 2 chairs from CB2. One was delivered from the warehouse and one from the showroom. The one which was delivered from the showroom had some noise. I visited the shop and inform them about the noise. They sent their representative to check. The guy confirmed the frame is broken and asked me to put in his report that I want a replacement! After that I haven't heard back from them so I had to follow up again and to my surprise the customer service agent informed me that it is misusage of the item and they do not wish to do anything for it. I visited the shop several times and discussed with them but they are refusing to provide any solution. When their QC visited to check the chair they did some test that made the noise worst. I asked them regardless of why it is damaged they must offer a solution to fix the issue because I cannot use the chair.     I ordered a dining table from them in May 2021 which was set to come in on July 2021. The. I get an email stating it's now backordered till September. September comes and I get another email it's back ordered till November. I get another email and it's now back ordered till December. During this time I called the time twice to complain about the inaccurate shipping dates. They only offered to waive the delivery fee. Finally the end of December I get an email my item is being shipped and to pick a delivery date. Well I got the item today and guess what it's freaking damaged. The dining table is cracked and chipped. The dining table I had to wait 9-10 months for. So I call CB2 and they express they can send me a replacement and no won't get it till MAY! I don't understand why I should have to wait additional months for an item that showed up damaged. They only offered me 10% off which I honestly think is a slap in the face for the simple fact they have had my money for months. I will never buy from them again.     Ordered six sectionals in August which they said would arrive in mid October. Then changed to early December then to mid December then to late December now we get an email saying Mid January.     I ordered an item that was on sale and chose to pick it up instead of having it delivered (for the same price as the item). After waiting one month to pick it up, I received an apology. Email the night before letting me know that my item is no longer in stock. This is a common scam that I only expected from Neiman Marcus, but CB2 seems to be playing the game now. Not letting me know until the night before delivery, after making me wait over a month, that my item is no longer in stock is terrible service.     I went to the store and placed an order for a sectional explained that I only wanted in stock options. I spant over $5000 on my couch. After not hearing anything for several days i checked the status and found out that there was a 6 month delay with no warnings or phone calls. Do not order if you have any timeline!
    I just had the worst experience with the "customer service" department at CB2. We purchased their white Terrazzo OUTDOOR coffee table in April 2022, was delivered in June 2022. The coffee table was delivered for and extra $119, pick up was not an option for us. The table was delivered with a small chip which after waiting months for delivery we didn't feel is was a big enough deal to wait several more months for a replacement. At the time of purchase I don't recall covers for this table being available. They are now available but no where when you go to buy this table does the website tell you, "you must also purchase our cover to ensure the integrity of the table." I just now went through the online process of purchasing this table. The cover shows up only in the "items you might like" area and it's only in second place. The care instructions say to cover it, which I did (or move it indoors which is unreasonable for a 400 lbs table). I covered it as I do all my outdoor furniture in the winter and other inclement weather. When I went to uncover my outdoor furniture recently I was shocked and heartbroken to see the table falling apart…tons of chips. I attempted to glue a few (4 pieces) of the chips back on (of of the several…guessing 50-70 pieces). When I realized this was an impossible task I decided to contact CS. That was a total joke…they basically use anything you say, take it out of context and basically tell you too bad, it's totally your fault and we will do nothing to help you. The only thing they offered was to help find a place for us to pay for repairs. The style of their items are good but they lack quality and CB2 doesn't stand behind their products. I'm not the only customer with this exact same issue. One would think they would see a pattern here and do something beneficial about it. I feel over a barrel here. I loved the look of the table and we searched high and low for something nice for our outdoor space. Now our table is junk…literally in pieces. I am devastated and am feeling totally betrayed. Btw - when people leave reviews, CB2 tells the customer how sorry they are and to reach out but as I just found out…that's total lip service. Updated - CS just emailed me offering $100 off and an additional %10 off with free shipping. While this is a step in the right direction (hence 2 stars rather than one as I originally gave, I'm not sure this is adequate considering the facts. You can decide. I thinking on it still.     I have ordered on many occasions from CB2 and lately there has been a 50/50 chance of the products even arriving. And when they do, you're lucky if they aren't damaged in transit or of such poor quality that they either break or you're unhappy with them. Please see photos of the condition of boxes I receive, along with some velvet curtains I ordered with actual spots of velvet missing, and a mirror I've had for only a year that is already deteriorating on the edges, just as a few examples. I don't know what has happened to this company over the years but they have gone way downhill and it has become a quantity over quality operation. I have had more than one order go missing through the cheap FedExSmart Post service they use to send the items, even though it costs on average about 50-100 for shipping for me on every order. Moreover, the products are usually either on backorder or they take about six weeks to arrive and when they don't, good luck getting a refund. I've spent so much of my time on chats and phone calls with customer service and they keep telling me to wait and wait and wait some more. Moreover, if there is something wrong with the product and you must send it back, expect to wait another solid six weeks for the return to be delivered and processed. In summary, this is a courtesy post for anyone considering purchasing something from this company, please avoid at all costs and look elsewhere for better quality products, as well as good customer service and shipping procedures. Also, I've left several reviews of products on their website and I can tell you that CB2 moderates them and they will either delete them or make you edit them.
