They will gladly call you when you want to subscribe to get your money. Once you pay you are on your own after that. If you try to schedule a call for troubleshooting, they are 2-3 weeks out to call you back. If you fill out a ticket for service, it takes 2-5 days to get an email. I just paid to renew my license and now it tells me my license is not valid. I have lost 3 days of work due to this and I am still waiting... DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.We have subscribed to REVIT for a couple of years and were suddenly unable to access the software, leaving staff unable to work. With no phone number to call and we tried "CHAT" only to be told WRONGLY that it was our banks fault call them as the Credit Card had been declined (with no notification from Autodesk). Back to Autodesk Chat, eventually case number set up, only to be told we have not renewed. The credit card is on renew Autodesk just have to process it. Tried another card, still awaiting. We have lost 3 days work. Autodesk are useless. Spend money on glossy ads and glitzy web-sites but don't spend dollars to look after their customers. They have the industry tied up with AutoCAD and REVIT. Going to source Chinese equivalent software.I saw the prices on subscriptions, and I instantly realized that this was not the software for me. I then saw that Students get free subscriptions. Hey, if you want to use this professionally, it's great, and you'll probably make your money back really quickly if you know what you're doing. Someone like me, who is already in debt really thrives off of a free license while in school. Hats off to Autodesk for free educational licenses.I signed up for free trial of autocad, and when I tried opening it onmy computer it said "error installing, try again from the website." I tried again, but samething happened ServiceAutodesk has become what it is now through acquisitions mainly. Basically as a challenger with little talent, research and development compared to the world leader, Dassault Systems, Autodesk has been going through a frenzy of buying talented companies and great products (like Maya for instance). However, the culture of this company is far from being what they display on their corporate marketing website and bio. Here is a quite small company compared to others in the IT sector with cumbersome processes, small internal baronies with constant politics, a very slow motion firm where an email can take up to 3 weeks to be read and answered, while due to its small size it should be fast and dynamic. As they got their products through acquisition and not through research & development, few of the employees really understand their lines of products and it tells when sales people meet customers. In fact, the value added comes from the products, some are so good that they sell themselves. Sales just need to process orders in fact. As for engineers, well they just have to rename the products their shareholders bought for them... The arrogance prevailing inside this firm is also amazing compared to its size in total opposition with the mess and organisational chaos of this company. Never turn your back on anybody there, the knives are flying in the alleys! From outside, they might be able to pay some spin doctors to present them as "best employer" or a modern firm, but the reality behind the veneer is a sad depressing little place where it's not nice to work.Title describes it all. THIS PROGRAM MAKES ME WANT TO BANG MY HEAD AGAINST A BRICK WALL! Just one of trillions of examples- sheet metal tool is horrendously morbidly awful. Total trash. This person did not inform me that this was not possible and I should find a reseller, and instead informed me that someone would call me. The person who then called me was just as useless as the person I was speaking to. They then informed me that I would have to find a reseller in my area to purchase something so specific - Robot, Revit, AutoCAD... I am not sure how this becomes so specific (except you are over selling me) but this would be a pretty good combination for someone working in building design. She then attempted to find me a reseller but after waiting on the phone without any response for minutes - as in the information that I wanted based on the chat couldn't be provided. Go Bentley or Solidworks!You want to draft 3d model, animate, render, convert dwg to other formats or back. In most cases they have a free download with a 30 day free trial. Ok try to beat that.
