    Honestly, I am so shocked at how terrible this service is. Every single book I want to purchase, says its unavailable for my region. I live in Canada? How are CANADIAN authors not available? And now it's locked me out of my account for some reason and my library isn't there anymore. The helpline staff are actually trying to help, but it seems like the site and app are so terrible that they're having a hard go of it. 0/10 Value Quality
    I changed phones. The customer service agent was unprofessional and didn't help me get to my account. I told them to suspend my account and they just charged me again. I would have given a zero stars or a negative 5 stars if this were an option. I will be turning it in as a fraudulent charge to my bank and I am looking at a civil action as they did this last month as well and are denying me access to books that I have bought.     If you try to delete books off your device, it does not happen. You have to delete the app, then re-install to clear your device of finished books. Customer service has an "oh, well" attitude. I have the Premium Plus and have been notified on occasion that I could not read a book I purchased because it was no longer available under my type of account!     Unfortunately i got signed up via Amazon. That become a subscription i did not need or did not use. It was not easy to Get rid of this but i succeeded. So now what should i use the credits for? I Get emails, you have 12 credits, i long in and there is 0 credits just like before. Hmm contact custumer service, click away and you Can chat with a chatbot. I see the money as lost, i will never Get any value from it and in my opinion its a scam.     I discovered that this company was charging my Amazon store card $16.18 for 22 months without my permission. Unfortunately, I did not catch it sooner I did not authorize this charge and I never used the service. I called to dispute the charges and they tried to sell me on keeping it by offering me 3 months free. I declined and said I wanted the charges to stop and a full refund. They only offered to refund for 12 of the 22 months which is $194 of the $355 they charged. It's better than nothing but I'm still out $160. I'm very angry about this and wanted to warn others about the fraudulent activities of this company. Tip for consumers:I would like people to be aware that this company can and will charge you for a service you didn't authorize then only give you a partial refund.     After purchasing audible, I realized I wasn't using it on a regular basis and put a hold (or so I thought) on my membership. Due to this now my credits will expire! Isn't it like purchasing a gift card? Even spoke with a manager there John K who advised me (as a not so young person and not entirely not used to hearing books) that I was out of luck.     The gift subscription is a joke. If the recipient has ever been a member, they don't actually receive the full gift. Either credits or the subscription, but not both. It's poor advertising and keeping this detail in small wording below the selections is a shady practice. Thanks, Audible - you have lost my business.     How this company can even get away with putting charges through on my credit card when I don't even have an account with them is FRAUD! I used to have an account with Audible Canada sometime ago, but never with Audible USA. I called them but they had no explanation why they have been charging me for a NON-EXISTING account.     I subscribed to Audible for a one-month free trial. I am trying to cancel. My subscription is through my Amazon account. On the Audible home page, though, I am listed a having an Apple account. I am, thus, required to cancel through Apple. As a result I am unable to cancel! I have talked with Audibles call center agents. I have chatted with their agents. They are completely unresponsive.     Dec 2024 i signed up Audible from Amazon as i want to listen to one audio book. To listen to my 1st Audio book i need to sign up for the 30 days trials and require to input my credit card detail and Audible claimed the membership can be cancel before end of 30 days. I cancelled it but is still charge to my card on 20 Jan 2024. So I removed my card info in Audible apps but Audible still charge 2nd fee on 20 Feb. I wrote to Audible but their reply takes days. Email reply from customer service (UK) feedback they cannot find my email account in their system!? Their customer service is poor and slow. To permanent stop this nonsense from Audible i had no choice but to cancel my Amazon account, yes the only way to permantently get rid of Audible is to close Amazon ac. This is the only option provided. I had to sacrifice my 10 years+ Amazon account and ended up loosing my Kindle book and Audio book forever. To double check, i create a new Amazon ac using the same email address and found Audible still have my credit card details when i press the 30 days trial icon. I will check again on 20 March if it still deduct fee from my card. Anyone who plan to try Audible 30 days trials Please think twice or do it at your own $$ risks.     I'm glad I found an honest review site about giants like Audible and Amazon. This is a complete hell to go through their customer service. Unprofessional and non-carrying customer service with little to no help on resolving the issue. It is not because they do not try to help (although sometime it is the case), but because they are giving promises they can never fulfill. I had to go over and over again with the same issue, and every time they are over-positively running me in circles without solving the issue. I paid for audiobook(s) about three years ago and I wasn't using amazon or audible for few years. When I tried to access audiobooks I purchased, amazon blocked my account due to duplicated accounts. I have no problem with that and glad to remove one account to keep only one that works. I did everything they asked me to do and it seems the customer service take a great pleasure running me in circles with no final solution to the problem. I have no faith anymore in any of Amazon or Audible services. It is the automated system that decides either you are going to be their customer or not, and it is not for the customer service to decide. I feel I was left completely lied to with no respect to my time or money. They showed me how they can take my money for the service and block access to it anytime they want. Screenshots shows the last interaction with Audible customer service that stated they will reach me out within 48 hours with the solution, so I can access my audiobook(s).     So somehow audible can just pull debit cards from the clouds on accounts u don't have. I wouldn't recommend signing up for them u will never get to cancel I don't even have a account and my brand new debit card was charged so not sure how they got it and ŵhen I called after telling the representative I didn't have a account she keep asking me for info they were basically giving me the run around, so I had to go through the process of disputing the charge which is a hassle, because audible refused to return my money.

    This is insane. I've never used this service and have been charged every month since 2022. I tried to reach out to customer service and get my money refunded but because I must've accidentally clicked on a title, they refused to credit all of my money back. I then provided them screenshots that it's still in the "not started" section and still refuse to process my full refund. I've never once used this service.     I was a loyal user of audible until my account got put on hold. I can't log in. I've called there codeine support line numerous times. After multiple transfers between departments t and thinking maybe - just maybe I can get back on. They say - it looms like you about odd on hold. I get put on hold. And every time after about 45 minutes on the phone with them they just drop my call. He is it so hard to just tell me what's wrong or take my account of hold? I had over 500 books in my library on audible and they claim you always have access to your purchased books - well that's an extreme load of BS!     I was paying my premium monthly for several years and the monthly fee purchases credits. I had so many unused credits that I put my account on hold, and then temp cancelled.     I called in to find out why i had a $248 charge on my CC from them when i had just cancelled my trial membership (that i ended up paying one month of $15.99 or whatever it was). I spent 2 hours on the phone with multiple agents and their supervisors, trying to get to the bottom of what had happened. My amazon account is secured with a one-time-password, but that didnt stop this fraudulent transaction. They wouldn't reveal who had been able to make the charge against my CC or how that could even have occurred. I had both supervisors send me emails explaining why they couldn't reverse the transaction or give me more information. All i got back was a bunch of doubletalk and gaslighting bs. Now i have locked my CC and will have to file a fraud report to try and reverse the payment and then go through all of the pain with setting up accounts and payments that use that number. Its insane. Theres some kind of coding flaw or other problem that would allow this to occur. Who in their right mind would commit fraud/crime to get an audible account. It just doesn't make any sense. Yes i have checked with everyone i know that might have had some far-off possibility of doing this - to no avail. This company sucks. I tried to resolve with Amazon and they offered no help either. In 2016 Sean Diddy Combs and Bobby Lorenzo, who is a model for Sean John, agreed in writing to let me use their names in hip hop scripts This is before I found out most of Hollywood is evil, and is now deprived of adrenochrome. July 4th, 2020 Sean Combs and his attorney contacted Barnes & Noble, Audible, Amazon KDP and Kobo Writing Life to tell them to cancel my author account including the books that had nothing to do with Diddy. This is harassment. ON Twitter 2017 someone whom I thought was impersonating Diddy, contacted me via DM telling me twenty times to open bank accounts for the purpose of embezzlement. They sent nude photos of themself having sex with underage boys. Now, I realize it really was Sean Diddy Combs. This COVID19 is really about these sick evil things being arrested. Hollywood and other weird psychotic places have been exposed. Anyone who tests positive for COVID19 will be tested for adrenochrome in their system and will be arrested. I had no idea how sick Hollywood was. I never would have agreed to write for Sean Combs had I known the truth. I love the Lord. I belong to God. I pray for those children who had to suffer being chained to walls and tortured to death while their adrenochrome was sucked from IV tubes. Lord, I have had to stay on my knees day and night praying to God since so many wicked deeds have been exposed.
    I don't mind paying $15/mo for a book subscription and to be quite frank, it's the only subscription I have that I can't / won't be without. They are chill about refunding a book, however after 3 credits/ returns in a calendar year, you do have to call in and explain why. Lol Here's where they lose 2 stars… the Audible app is primitive and will not show you ANY book that is on sale or being offered on a "2 books for 1 credit" deal…. So you will not be able to decide whether you'd like to pay the sale price rather than using one of your credits. Super Lame! You will be forced to use one full credit regardless. Therefore, you'll find yourself wasting time switching back and forth between the App to Audible.com which is truly unacceptable in this day and age. The struggle is real, but I know the game!     Decided to try this due to a "3-month free trial offered", and then received notification that I was going to be billed in under 1 month. Very deceptive! Called and asked what was going on and was told they NEVER offer a 3-month trial, only 1-month. Hmm, Then why is the ad still in place? Rep still insisted there was no such thing as a 3-month trial. Very sketchy business practices. Apparently you can't trust this company, so i have no more interest in becoming a customer. Make sure you get e-mailed confirmation of your cancellation!
