    I had an AS credit card, always bought lots of things. Clothing stitching was coming apart on a lot of items. I closed my acct and started using After Pay. Be careful returning items. I had $1.00 shipping AS wanted to charge me $10.00 for a return label that they did NOT enclose with my items. Customer service and the "supervisors" were absolutely horrible!     I've been an Ashley Stewart customer for several years now. I like some of the style of clothing that they sale. I believe that's why I stayed a customer this long. But after today, I don't it's worth what "we" or maybe I should say I as an customer what this company doesn't want to correct to make this a better experience for the customers. First of all, I don't have the patience with the website. Once you click on an item, and go back shopping, them circles stats to appearing. Most of the time, I have to close the entire page I'm on & start at the beginning of shopping page. That's annoying & I don't have the patience to keep doing that, over & over again until I'm finished looking through their merchandise. Second, I'd been complaining about this for almost 2 years. When I finally try to place an order it states that my credit card is invalid. I don't understand why they won't do something about this! Third, when I do call (since I can't placed the order online) I can't get through because they of their phone hours. I usually get an recording then it hangs up on me. And last thing, the send a lot o damaged merchandise & it shouldn't be at the customer's expense. Why should I have to pay for shipping if you sent me damaged merchandise. Those are my complaints about Ashley Stewart.Some people have the patience for the things I just mentioned. I'm one of them that don't.     My complaint isn't the clothes quality bc nothing from Ashley Stewart has ever ripped on me or been Damaged. I've been shopping with them for over 15 years. I was previously an 18/20 now I'm a 14 in jeans and 12 in shirts. Now for those who say the quality is bad or made poorly first of all the lady in the dress with 2 different patterns Sis that look isn't for you. Ashley can't help if you aren't a fashionista (which I am) and then you want to say poor quality no you did that dress a disservice. The other with the jeans it looks like you wore them 7 days a week like they were the last jeans on earth what else can you expect if you wear the same jeans over and over again. My compliant is simple I am upset with the models they have on the website (pretty faces) but the clothes aren't being styled well anymore causing me to shop elsewhere. The models are looking frumpy and bumpy. I doubt I am the only customer feeling this way maybe just the only one who will express their feelings.     I bought these bad azz jeans and camouflage suits that you can wear inside out. Too small. I was so disappointed because I see you have to get them two to three sizes up that's annoying.I bad enough you already have to get big sizes bc your plus but who want to buy an event bigger sizes?!     I love me some Ashley Stewart, but this purchase the tights are not working for me... I bought two pair, size EE that states it goes up to 330 pounds, My weight is 280. The first pair I couldn't get past my stomach, the second pair, the panty portion does not go all the way up, only to lower part of my stomach. I have stretched, pulled, & tugged wore them to work & felt them rolling down all day. The crotch part is squeezing my inner thigh. More panty portion need to be added, & more stretch please.     Had I not missed the 30 day return deadline due to being out of town, I would have returned everything. Pants were way too long and material on two pair was so thin (see through... literally). I'll stick to other plus size vendors. Tip for consumers:Pay VERY close attention to the negative reviews and don't be swayed by the beautiful color and designs. I thought how could such beautiful items really be that bad. My 2nd time in 4 years trying to patronize this company. Bad experiences both times. Well...now I know. Won't shop there again.     I placed a order and paid extra to have it here within 2-4 business not only did I not receive my package but was told that they cannot refund my $12.95. I will never order from Ashley Stewart again. Be careful bc if you pay extra for a early delivery doesn't mean you will get it and you will be out of pocket you paid extra for..     Isn't there alternative to sending order to customers without using courier services. It is expensive. I pay for shipping and I am charged extra by the courier company before they can deliver. At the end of the day, I am coughing out over 60 dollars for shipping. This is too too expensive!     They sent me a damaged item and I reached out to customer service. I was told they were going to "open a ticket". That was the last I ever heard from them. The skirt has a snag that goes for 3-4 inches right below the waist at the front. I can't wear this! I would just deal with it if the damage was near the bottom hem somewhere but this is in a very obvious spot. Tip for consumers:Beware that damaged items will be yours to keep unless maybe you can go to the store and get them to refund. Check for your nearest store before ordering. Mine is 132 miles away.     I purchased the gold chain belt and the quality was definitely not worth the price. I expected the chain to be heavier for the price I paid. The belt could be worth 5$ Very disappointed
    Over the last few months or so, I have purchased almost a thousand dollars of merchandise from Ashley Stewart in the store, and online. Because they have trendy fashions, I thought that Ashley Stewart would be my new go-to store until recently. In the actual store, the employees are NOT friendly and a bit rude overall. I have gone to 3 of their stores and 2 of the stores had very rude employees. They all can use some customer service/ people skills training. When ordering online, I often order several sizes of the same item and return the ones that do not fit. Their online order process is misleading - BUYERS BEWARE, their website says that items can be returned to their stores but if you do, the employees refuse to take the merchandise even though the same exact items are in the store. I have done online orders with other companies and returned items to the associated brick and mortar store without issue, but that is not the case at Ashely Stewarts. Their staff refuses to take back items even though the customer service representative and the website clearly say it is possible to do so. Matter of fact, the last item I attempted to return, the cashier did not even bother to look at the invoice. She flat out refused to give me a refund simply because it was an online order. It's as if the online store is a totally different company from their brick-and-mortar store. Perhaps since the service in their stores is so bad, they should just simply close them. They have lost a customer in-store and online. Tip for consumers:Buyers Beware: online orders are not always free shipping. If you attempt to return via mail there is a fee if you use their shipping label and even though the site and customer service tells you that items can be returned in-store, the brick and mortar stores staff refuse to give you a refund for items purchased from their website.     I recently purchased 2 skirts and a jacket from Ashley Stewart online, and had no problem. Items arrived in time expected, were correct sizes, and I'm happy. I love the way the one skirt's waistband is made -- looks like a wide band, but there's a thin piece of elastic nested near the top that is the real waistband, so it doesn't roll like true wide bands often do. I wear a 24 or 3X normally and these were a bit large. I will get 2X or 22 in the future. Only complaint is jacket stripes not symmetrical on front panels. I'd have been upset if I'd paid full price.

    I really didn't know much about this company and made the poor decision to purchase from them. I returned everything I ordered. The clothing were ill fitting and had very cheap fabric.     My first and last purchase with them. The clothes are beautiful but they are not the correct sizes. I ordered on line and the top was too small so I returned for refund. Was told they do not refund shipping... ok... but you also get charged an $8 dollar return fee. Seriously! Out of a $38 purchase I was refunded $17.
    Today on 1/21/2023 I purchased a cute jogger outfit on sale paid $70 for the the set. Only for THE PANTS to RIP down the seam of my a$$ after leaving the birthday party as I sat down in my car.     I have been an Ashley Stewart customer forever so I'm disappointed that they don't offer a ship to store for free especially since many of their items are online exclusives. Which also means they can NOT be returned to a store and you'll be charged another $8 on top of the $8.95 the charged to ship your items. All of their competitors have a ship to store free option, plus you can return items to their stores. I won't be ordering anything else from Ashley Stewart - just lost a loyal customer.
    Ordered item was way bigger than my size and was told to pay for return of shipment? Customer service representative kept me on the phone for more than an hour and came back to tell me she was sorry, I have to pay for the shipment out of my pocket or would be deducted from my refund. I drove about 45 minutes to the store to exchange the item and was told I couldn't do it there ( online exclusive). I have never experienced anything like this from any online store, and it's very imperative that Ashley Stewart revise their policies. Would not recommend to anyone; Bad customer service.     I have bought Ashley Stewart clothes for over the past 2 years. There are some good fit items such as sleeveless dresses and tops, however anything with a leg or sleeve is like wearing balloons attached to your body, they are not tapered. I understand leaving a little room for big arms, but A.S. Is ridiculous with it. Then there are some items are so cute, you think you hit the lottery but then after first wash or wear they tear, fray or become otherwise unbearable. I have even got sent the incorrect items if anything at all. So why do I still buy after two years of poor service. I still order because I catch those 10 or 20 dollar sales once in a while I might get something more expensive. For instance in March I got 500 worth of clothes for like 190 with sale and coupons. That was 25 peices of clothing and accessories. However, I had to spend another 300 at a seamstress to get the clothing bespoke. I am not necessarily looking for bespoke clothing when I shop at Ashley, but I want to feel cute and comfortable. In the pink and black dress, it was quality made but the straps are 4 inches to long and not adjustable, and since I did not try it on (I know my fault), before my trip, I had to double over the straps and pin them to my bra, and I had to hide the arm with the long sleeve all night so people could not see the bagginess. All the bunched up or wrinkly area are loose fabric. No, I could not go down a size, it fits my body perfectly, but Ashley needs to work on proportions or offer options. The clothes are cute but I can't afford to buy full price items and pay a seamstress for every order. Tip for consumers:Don't buy something for an event in 2 weeks, allow time for adjustments or returns before your special occasion.
