Somehow, Allurez had the *exact* engagement ring I've always pictured in my head, aquamarine side stones and all! They had an impressive number of diamonds to choose from, natural or lab-grown. Shipping was prompt after the ring was made (altogether a roughly 3-4 week wait from purchase to receipt). I also gotta say, having a little LED in the box to shine on the ring was an inspired idea. The turn over rate was pretty quick as well. The only issue I had was that the diamond/head was slightly uneven. A quick fix I managed on my own. I sent over the certificate with accurate sizing several times. They provided my ring at the WRONG size. It was way to big for my diamond. I told their jeweler this multiple times but they insisted that it was sized properly. I took the setting and diamond to a jeweler to get it set and they agreed that the setting was too large. Finally the jeweler from Allurez agreed that it was the setting was incorrect for my stone. Because of all this wasted time, I missed my engagement date. To add insult to injury, the Allurez team made me pay for the shipping cost to get the ring they screwed up corrected. (Roughly $150). This cost included shipping a fake stone they wanted to use for sizing reference (since they couldn't go off of the dimensions previously given I guess). Kelley the customer service rep did her best to fix this mistake but overall, the jewelers lack of competence and the lack of accountability of the management to provide a prompt correction to their screw ups, along with the fact that I had to pay to get them to fix their own mistakes leaves a very sour taste in my mouth.
