I recently rented from Alamo in Phoenix Airport. My itinerary had gotten messed up through Expedia and the manager there was so helpful and understanding and gracious with me. He was able to get me an even better deal and I appreciated him so much that day as it was such a stressful traveling day for me. He made my day so much better and I will always choose Alamo from now on. His name was Taylor and he will take care of you!Alamo rents cars to tourists and are not required to have insurance because they insure their own vehicles. But when their customers cause an accident then Alamo refuses to pay for damages, pain, suffering and car totaled. Their big corporate lawyers help them get away with it! This would of got resolved within 2 months if I would of been rear ended by an uninsured motorist but because this is Alamo it's been dragged 5 years in court and still refuse to pay the minimum requirement that the rest of us are required to pay for. Shame on you Alamo! Service ValueOur flight was delayed by 2 hours. When we arrived every other car rental kiosk was open except for Alamo. When speaking to the other companies, they all wait for the last plane to arrive. Then to get a refund is tedious. Definitely would not recommend this company. In having moved our daughters in and out of dorms every years for for 5 years, we've rented many vehicles. Every time we ever rented from Alamo, there was never any kind of problem. Unlike other car rental sites where there was always some sort of issue, the cars at Alamo are always clean, in good running condition and ready to go. From now on, it's Alamo, all they way!~This is my preferred rental car company in Sardinia... rented 5 times so far and never had any issue (unlike others nearby). Recommended.WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Location near San Diego Airport... I hate this place... customer service was rude and a bunch of liars...
